The grounds were very nicely kept. A fire pit with wood was available on the premises which we enjoyed! The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and recommended an awesome place for dinner. The bed was Very comfortable and the room was very clean.
It was a short stay, with a full day of prep for the Rugby festival and golf and saturday's early start for the rugby. End of stay
Good location relative to where I was working Don't ask for a wake up call. You'll get a gruff "use the alarm clock in the room".
My money back.
D.I.Y. waffle maker for the included continental breakfast. Blind in the bathroom stuck open giving no privacy. Staff didn't know the opening hours of the only store in town 1 mile away. Décor was tired but clean.
The rooms are not fancy but clean and comfortable enough. The location is fantastic and the little town of Franconia is very cute. The hotel's surrounding gardens are very pretty as well. We had an issue with our wi fi and the staff worked quickly to fix it. The rooms could be updated and more bedding is needed in the colder months.
Close to the venue that we were going to. Decent breakfast. There was the smell of urine, not only in the bathroom, but in the room as well. Burn holes in the bedspread and on the love seat. The window had large cracks that were filled in with some sort of epoxy instead of being replaced.
i loved the simplicity of booking and getting it cheaper. i loved the pool and hottub it was very relaxing. the front desk clerk was very nice and happy to help and we enjoyed the continental breakfast and my mom, sister, and daughter and myself all enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be staying again soon hopefully
I thought it was a little pricey until I saw what I had. it had full kitchen and almost every tool you need. has barbecue area and fire pit shared and the neighbors were very nice. Pet friendly! Views of the mountains to die for. The place needed some repairs and the stairs at the entry were difficult for an old lady and her disabled daughter. Could have used mor4e in room info about where to get food etc.
Location is good. view is great and so is the staff . The AC worked GREAT ! thank you! The Wi-Fi was poor ( limited and slow). The television is small but, then so was the room #6. (for a single person their was plenty of room). you have to remember to close the shade to the left of the front door because it is in direct line with the bathroom door (don't want to give someone out side a free show after taking a shower) ;-/ .
How private the little cabin was, it had everything we needed and was very clean. I loved the coziness of the decor in the cabin and the main office! The owner and staff were excellent, so friendly and helpful! Definitely worth every penny! We would love to go back again! Not that we NEEDED it, but the wifi didn't work in our cabin, although the website said there would be wifi. It was almost a blessing in disguise to "unplug" though.
The room itself was fine. The lodge was old. The furniture upstairs was covered with dust covers( apparently don't sit here) and the furniture was very old. The drapes to the walk out porch were pulled closed so you couldn't go out. It had seen better days. The whole town was basically closed up. Only place open to eat was a pizza joint. Everything else was closed.
Our room was very clean. The owners (hosts) were friendly and helpful. No complaints at all.
The town of Littleton is a gem, and the centre within walking distance of the motel. Our single queen room was smaller than many other budget motel rooms we have stayed in, but was adequate.
I enjoyed my stay at the Maple Leaf. The family running the grounds clearly cared about their guests and were very accommodating. They were knowledgeable about the immediate area, hospitable, and personable. I would definitely return to this hotel. The interior of the rooms looked a little cheap and dated, though the stay was fairly inexpensive comparable to the surrounding hotels in the area with the same commodities at the time, especially since it was during peak color season in the fall.
The hotel staff was unfriendly. The only amenity was coffee which was available in an outer vestibule, but there was no decaf. They charged for ice and it was unavailable after hours. The rooms were not clean. They have hot water heat (which is wonderful) but there were layers of dust on the tops of the registers. The rooms have storm doors on them that slam shut. I still have a rather large bruise on my arm from the storm door slamming into me. Over all - I cannot reccommend the Maple Leaf Motel, and would, in fact, reccommend that it not be used.
The facilities were very good as we had a kitchen where we could cook for ourselves and make picnics. The supermarket was nearby. We were able to go out for the whole day and return to a nice appartment.
The facility is older but well maintained. The owners, Chris and Nancy are on site and hands on. A comfortable visit.
very well run no tea coffee maker in room
The Maple Leaf has very clean rooms. Nice full kitchen. Flat screen T.V. , good cable channels and wifi. Very friendly owners. A very relaxing atmosphere. Great location!
Good location, near mountains, near town, but not in noisy area. Good value. Nice room. bed too hard
We will be using them from now on! Bed was a bit hard
The location to our family. No
Location, quaint, affordable, surrounding fall foliage was beautiful
