Pros: It was quaint and a throw back to an old fashioned Inn with modern amenities. Tasteful and obviously lovingly cared for. There are separate little cottages around the main building.

Cons: Dinner menu didn't appeal to us. We found some hidden gem restarts we enjoyed and would frequent again.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Location near Bretton Woods ski resort
Cons: The Bretton Arms has a persistent mechanical systems noise that runs all day/night. The boiler/furnace needs to be acoustically isolated so that vibrations are not transmitted throughout the building. Very bad for people who are attuned to hearing noise.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Close to hiking trails in Crawford notch, franconia notch, twin mtn. Private cabin with rustic decor. Very kind owners
7.5 Good
Pros: The property was close to the road, but secluded and quite nice. The pool was clean and the property was well-kept.
Cons: The signs were a bit blunt = $20 fine if you don't wash the dishes. $20 fine if you don't recycle. Charged an extra day if you don't check out by 10 am. Perhaps the owner has had problems with clients in the past.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Neat and scrupulously clean. Very compact, but everything I needed.
Cons: Wifi was problematic.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We arrived just in daylight on a Sunday. Was greeted warmly and given postcards, maps and advice. Asked about eating and a telephone call was made to check a restaurant was open. All above and beyond expectations. Cabin was spacious and quickly warmed up. Bed comfy, but some of the kitchen utensils could do with being update. Just wish we were staying more than one short night.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Size of the room. Comfortable beds and nice shower.
Cons: Everything was perfect for what we needed
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The owners were incredibly nice and accommodating. We forgot our keys and within 15 minutes of calling, they had found the keys and were off to the UPS store to overnight ship them home to us. Everything was very clean, they provided soap and a sponge, grilling utensils and all necessary cooking ware. 12/10 recommend and will definitely come back again.
6.8 Good
Pros: Great shower, great rural location, very peaceful. Useful to have car-port next to the property, especially with a lot of luggage.
Cons: I was not expecting a rustic old-style lodging which is probably my own fault for booking in a hurry and not researching the details of people's reviews. This property would totally match some people's expectations and those who are care-free and enjoy simple pleasures in life. I can, however, only comment from my own perspective and as someone with particular tastes and expectations, this failed to match mine. I did not get a good night's sleep and did not like the beds being up against windows with no headboard. As I stacked my pillows up (I have to sleep with quite a few) I was worried I would damage the window blind. Having booked and paid for two nights I left after the first night and booked into a nearby Econolodge instead which, although lacked the charm and personality, was cheaper and far more comfortable. The lady who owns the property was very nice and I didn't approach her about it because at the end of the day it is all down to my own personal taste. This would definitely suit young families.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It is a quaint little place with kitchen facilities, close to both the downhill and Nordic skiing at Bretton Woods, and local snowmobile trails. I was there for a Nordic Marathon and it was perfect. I love the car park, so I did not have to clean off the snow in the morning!! The fit was tight, though, for my Civic, I would check the dimensions if you have a large car. The heat control in the room is great, the shower was AWESOME, and the place was clean. The bed was comfortable, and it really had everything I needed. I liked being able to make my own food, with microwave, toaster , coffee maker, and a couple of stove top burners. Remember to bring your own coffee and paper towels!!!. Love the porch too. The room is small, but has everything you need. Friendly owner. I understand they may have discount downhill tickets as well. I will be back!!
Cons: There was ice in the carpark, driveway, just had to walk carefully. I couldn't figure out the refrigerator, so I just stored things in a cooler bag on the porch. The appliances are older, just fyi, but worked just fine.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: It was cozy and we liked the privacy a cabin offers. it was quiet and all our needs were met,
Cons: Internet service was marginal but I imagine it is tough to get good service in the mountains.
8.2 Excellent
Cons: Good deal for the price. Clean, friendly but simple and plain.

We ate our suppers there. There's a hill beyond that with another gazebo with a picnic table. Fire pit. We absolutely love the 2 adirondack chairs the owner placed up on the hill. The view from the chairs is amazing. We could've sat in those chairs for hours.
Cons: Motel needs to be updated. It's quaint and clean but updates such as new room doors, new carpet/laminate, new furniture, should be done. Pool should be heated.

Pros: Staff are very courteous and helpful. Lots of great activities offered on site.
Cons: I was in a room with an adjoining door, which impeded any soundproofing. The family in the next room was very loud and you could hear "everything." There were a lot of loud and unruly children running around the hotel. Not a place for romantic getaway.

Pros: loved the views from the entire property. Loved the property.. clean, beautiful, they obviously have a lot of pride in their resort.
Cons: I didn't love the food. Some of the dishes were great, while others (like the strange kids' grilled cheese and the breakfast buffet) were really gross. Prices were fairly high so I'd expect all the food (and wine!) to be excellent.

Pros: Sarah and her staff were very accommodating. Parking on site and the rural setting. Quality of the food was good.
Cons: Chairs in the room were uncomfortable and there were many ashtrays outside that were full. On the way in this didn't welcome you.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean. Well kept. Excellent location.
Cons: Nothing
5.0 Okay
Pros: Convenient to the mountain where we wanted to ski.
Cons: The hotel claimed "breakfast included" which is partly why we reserved here especially because we know the area and food is not close. But breakfast was not served until 7:30am. We are skiers and like to beat the crowds and get to the mountain early. So, we were long gone by 7:30am. There wasn't even a coffee station in the lobby (no Keurig, etc) not even hot water. I would have packed a travel coffee pot or hot water pot had I known breakfast was served so late. We won't be back.

Cons: Modified Bathroom in room was ok, but built as an afterthought, at least the room I had. I realize originally there were no bathrooms in these rooms, and they were added at a later date.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was very clean and comfortable. In spite of our room facing the main street, it was quiet.
Cons: The breakfast room and the breakfast could have been better.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: We loved being near the shops and river walk without having to drive everywhere.
Cons: We were exploring most of the time but a second chair would have been nice to relax when we came back. Everyone was so thoughtful had we asked I have no doubt they would have brought one to us.
5.5 Okay
Cons: Only got half of TV channels, mattress very uncomfortable, phone didn’t work, took 15 minutes for hot water to come up. Breakfast was cold cereal coffee, tea, and prepackaged muffins. Kind of disappointed.
7.5 Good
Pros: The room was clean and very charming. The bed was very comfortable. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. There were several restaurants within walking distance.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was well-maintained and the staff was very friendly. Each room is decorated differently. It's a beautiful old classic hotel
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Adorable, quaint and charming. Ideal for a downtown stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Unique and historic, good value, free breakfast, memorabilia
Cons: Wi-fi didn’t really work for us
7.0 Good
Pros: Bed comfy and liked the historical nature of hotel. Quiet and clean.
Cons: Bedside table/ lamp not on both sides bed ( there were 2 in room). Opened window for fresh air but filthy sill. Bath towels were thin and motel quality. Such a disappointment for a hotel with such history. Breakfast- some fresh fruit would be good.
6.3 Good
Pros: Location and outside terrace
Cons: The inn needs to be refurbished. The staircase is narrow and no one on the staff offers to help with luggage. The shower water was only warm after running for a long time. Wi-Fi didn't work. The breakfast needs to be improved. If the inn was refurbished I would consider returning but not until then
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location right on Main Street, walkable to shops and restaurants.

7.5 Good
Pros: We liked the outside areas around the Inn. The Inn itself was quaint with fireplaces and a great pub. The girls working in the pub were so friendly and they made great drinks. Dinner was also very good. There was also a nice pool and hot tub for travelers that were looking for that amenity.
Cons: The room was very small and old. The Inn itself needed some maintenance like painting and new carpets but some travels may like the old furnishings and the antique look. There was no TV in the room and the bathroom was also small but was attached to the room. Breakfast was not included. There is not much to do around that area.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Pool looked clean and tennis courts looked good
Cons: For the amount of money they charged it was poor, no coffee making facilities in the room, no ironing board or iron, no TV, WiFi was bad, when I mentioned this to reception I got a blank look back, the room was clean it everything looked scruffy.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful building and beautiful surroundings. Cozy rooms! Food was great and the pub area was relaxing.
Cons: A little warm in my room in the afternoon. There’s no AC in the building but there are window units, but that is to be expected up here. I’m a Florida girl so it just took some getting used to .
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The facility is super! The staff is excellent. The surrounding area is breathtaking.
Cons: The bed. Queen in a standard room. The lobster bisque was too salty the night we stayed.
6.3 Good
Pros: Location and tennis
Cons: small bed , cold tea, milk not served with tea, given a room on the 3rd floor of an inn with no elevator when the inn was almost empty
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the location. We enjoyed the lounge, watched sports, the pool was nice, did go into the game area.
Cons: Rooms very close, several children. Noise at night not too bad, but enough to disturb sleep. Bathrooms very small, mattress not comfortable
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location was great for the sites we were seeing. The food was great! The pool and outdoors was clean and charming.
Cons: No television in any room.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Really friendly staff, great food in the dining room and generally a really homely feel, including freshly baked complimentary cookies one day! Excellent location for exploring the local area and gorgeous surrounding scenery.
Cons: Decor was slightly dated and could do with refreshing in the bedroom, however this did not detract at all from our stay :)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was exceptionally friendly. The restaurant had excellent food at reasonable prices. The coffee is waiting at 5am and it's delicious. It's a throwback to the grand inns of NH North country: quaint, homey and comfortable. I definitely recommend. .

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice clean room. Spacious.
Cons: Spotlight shining into room all night (next to gas station). All pillows were really thick and none were low enough for us. Breakfast was disappointing.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: It was there when I needed it.
Cons: The breakfast was pretty lousy. The room was shabby and disappointing. All in all, I consider it a poor value for the price and would not stay there again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, very clean and nice room. We would definitely come back here
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place to stay...!
Cons: Nothing...!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean, the bathroom was very small but everything was neat and clean. The staff was friendly and polite. I would have given its full 100% rating, except that it was advertised as a free breakfast, which was very dissappointing. It was cold cereal, English muffins and bananas. Was under the impression that when I read somewhere that it was a complimentary breakfast, it would have been just a little better. The area was quaint, a beautiful little town, and some nice area attractions surrounding it.
Cons: A better breakfast selection.
6.8 Good
Pros: The location was good. The room was large and had a fridge. Awesome pillows
Cons: The bed was not comfortable at all!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Right next door to grocery, gas & liquor store
Cons: rooms are dated and although clean, appear dingy with stains on carpet, bedding & towels
9.3 Excellent
Pros: We've been to Santa's Village with our kids many times over the years and stayed at several different places. This is the best hotel in the area in terms of comfort, cleanliness and value.
Cons: Really nothing to complain about.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Bed was extremely comfortable with lots of pillows.
Cons: Very disappointed in the breakfast selection - the only thing that was a disappointment.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Vintage vibe and look in all the really good ways. Comfortable, real, genuine, an inn with heart.
Cons: Some floral displays around the breakfast could be updated.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I really like the cleanliness. The staff was very kind and patient. It was a very restful room.
Cons: I would have liked more outdoor seating.
7.0 Good
Cons: Standard, boring continental breakfast. Front desk took a gazillion years to fill up hot water after being informed that it had run out. By the time she got to doing it, I was already heading back to my room, having waited to make my tea in vain.
