Nice and quiet very comfortable room
room was great and we were particularly pleased to find that it was really pet-friendly. Many places say they are pet friendly, but they actually mean they will tolerate having pets, but on our stay here the staff went out of their way to make sure the dog was well catered-for. Would definitely recommend for that reason.
only downside for us was the mattress was too soft (but this is a very personal experience)
Staff in all areas were excellent - far enough a was way from Woking but it was only a short drive away. Easy access from m25
Malbec wine not good value
The pictures of the room did not match what we were given. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. Hair dryer was broken. Stained in the carpet. Light fixtures missing in the ceiling
The Talbot has for centuries played its part in history. It is said to have provided the stage for Lord Nelson and Lady Hamiltons love affair to blossom in 1798, and remains one of Englands finest coaching inns. The Talbot retains many impressive historic features, whilst introducing a contemporary twist. Wonderfully relaxed and welcoming, youll find a cozy bar with open fires, real ales and outstanding food. Our restaurant features a stunning copper ceiling and glass wall overlooking the Summer terrace and garden. We pride ourselves on our friendly, yet professional style and relaxed and informal surroundings.
