frendly and comfortable.
Please write at least 15 words Quiet clean hotel. Safe for single female guest - ask for a room on the upper floor.
Clean accommadation & a smoke free room
Landlady very helpful
Comfortable, clean and friendly Nothing
Rooms was great, though next to carpark I heared nothing, food was great staff was every friendly and helpful t.V only had 5 channels in my room. but every thing esle was great
Very close to my family only stayed one night. Unfortunately there was no toilet paper and no one around to ask so it made it a bit uncomfortable.
Comfortable, clean and friendly There was nothing i didn't like about the hotel
good value, easy to find, pleasant looks a little dated
the staff were superb, nothing was too much trouble. I had a minor problem with the shower, as soon as I mentioned it the manager sorted it. I will be returning, the food is amazing , I didn't want to leave really.
The room was quaint. the restaurant presented excellent value for money & the bar was homely & comfortable.....all in all, a very pleasant stay.
Overall this is a very nice hotel, very comfortable and a good choice of food which was very plesant. I have stayed at this hotel several times before and would certainly recommend and return back.
Value for money Traffic noise from the main road.
Friendlyness of staff
Excellent Pub Uncomfortable bed
Excellent breakfast - really fast service!
The best English breakfast I have ever had!! The airfreshener was overpowering. It was difficult to open the windows. The E.mail location was five miles to the East from the advertised location!
Our stay in the Bull Inn was short but memorable. It was a beautiful day so the yard was very busy but fun! Unfortunately we didn't eat in the restaurant so I can't comment on that, although going by the breakfast the food was very fresh and had a good choice! The rooms are nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable! Could have done with a fan in the bedroom! Bathrooms could do with a bit of a facelift!
food, beer, quality of room n/a
The food was excellent. We had an evening meal on our first night which was very good. The full English breakfast was exceptional and so much we couldn't finish it.The staff were all really pleasant. The bedroom was adequate but the bathroom was really small. There was only space for a shower cubicle, a tiny sink and toilet. There wasn't even space to have a good towel dry in there, you had to step into the bedroom to do that! The other problem was the lighting in the room. It was really dim, very difficult when trying to dry your hair or do your make up, however the bed was really comfortable.
Rooms 1 and 2 are situated on the first floor directly over the the main to louge bars....the noise is intolerable if you wish to have an early night, peace and quiet or dont like the tv turned up loud to drown out the noise. Please make customers aware of this when booking at this Pub/Hotel....Both these rooms are classified by the Hotel as Executive rooms....Even taking into account the age and history of the Hotel...this is a joke.Standard Doulble room...absolutely nothing 'Executive' about these rooms. And finally...the parking is a nightmare...the Hotel is situated down a cul de sac lane...its first come, first served with just 8 parking spaces in the car park....if you are planning on going out somewhere at night...you cannot return and find a parking space before the bar closes at 11.30....be warned...after 11.30 you,ll find a space...If you,re arriving after 1800 to check in...you,ll not find a parking space for onloading either...its a nightmare.
Welcoming, comfortable atmosphere. Accommodating and helpful staff. Great accommodation for visiting the Sonning Mill Theatre.Super breakfast ! Not suitable for anyone very disabled
Staff were friendly and responsive bathroom was nicely done nice atmosphere in the pub / restaurant good freshly cooked breakfast Not much space for guests in the pub car park (lot of it was being used for outdoor seating for the pub). We did find space in the road but we could have been unlucky if arriving later. Despite booking for two people the room was only prepared for one (towels etc) but staff were responsive in sorting. Room size was fine for one night for two people but was on the small size for more than this if staying as two people (virtually no luggage space and we were en route from a holiday so it was a bit cosy)
The best breakfast I've had in a hotel this year None
the location is perfect for exploring the local area , we like the idea of using the bull as a centre for further exploration , and will use it again in the future
Food, location and general service. Not exactly bad .... but accommodation could be cheaper - it is after all a pub, notwithstanding its history.
Great rooms in old pub and food is good, with an excellent breakfast wifi did not work
Receptionist exceptionally helpful.
The location of the hotel is really convenient if you have work in the TVP. The location of hotel is good but actually its too noisy. Also the standard of the food is not at all good.
comfortable value for money ..Lovely food and bar on site nothing
The food and drink A bit of a wait for the room to be cleaned and with the rush, not really completed to standard.
Good value for money. Food was good Waited 40 minutes for breakfast. Tea and orange juice ran out
Quiet and clean just what I needed at the end of a busy day. Being able to get a meal at a very reasonable cost was a real plus.
meals and wine good selection and good value bathrooms need updating
Location and free wifi. Good discount rate. Food at the adjacent pub is good value. TV service is very poor. This has been noted in several reviews. There is no excuse any more for this issue.
Beds very comfortable and clean. The lady at breakfast was helpful and efficient. The bath mat was mildew and despite mentioning this a reception it was not cleaned, replaced or removed for the second night.
Parking good, facilities good. Poor television unable to get itv service
Clean bed and towels No staff, poor breakfast which was described as 'continental' but was actually just self service toast. Bathroom not good, smelt and toilet seat was stained, it just didn't look clean and skirting hanging off in bathroom.
