Bedroom was lovely, we stayed in fuggles. Breakfast was also great.
Arrived at 2:30 pm and the whole place was locked up. When we did check in the guy at the bar was very unwelcoming, didn’t ask us if we needed anything or explain anything to us. On the second night of our stay we attending a wedding and left our key with the staff and were told the bar was open until 11pm so could collect it. We arrived back at 10:30pm and it was all locked up and we were locked out. The first number we called from the emergency board the man told us to ring the other number as he was too far away. After finally getting through someone brought our key around but this shouldn’t of happened. When we left the girl just said to leave the key on the side, no good bye nor did they ask how our stay was. Such a shame as the venue is lovely and I’m sure some staff are great but we felt very unwelcome. I’ll also add that we paid almost £190 to stay two nights which for a B and B is very up there in price, we expected more.
Lovely staff and very accommodating, breakfast was 10/10
Breakfast was great, beautifully presented. rooms were lovely, bathrooms so sparkly clean
slightly larger coffee's at breakfast time would have been nice
Beautiful property and amazingly friendly staff! Also the breakfast out perfect!
One thing the room was quite hot to sleep and we couldn’t get to the radiator because of desk in front of it.
No outside path lights or overhead light to see key entry. No breakfast option until 8 am which is useless for business travellers
