Absolutely perfect. It took me about 20 minutes to walk there from the train station. When I headed out though, I just hopped on a bus half a block down, which dropped me at the station in about 5 minutes. On a cool morning, it was also a pretty easy walk right into the central area of York.
Pros. The friendliness of the staff was perfect and there was an excellent breakfast
Cons. i would have liked a bigger shower because yhe one we had was a corner one and was not very big but it was ok for a couple of days
