Disappointed. NO Internet. Food expensive and aver
Staff were nice. Cottage had lovely bed and nice facilities. Not a bad price £75 per night.
No internet. Wifi would not connect to internet for anyone! Lasagna was awful and expensive. Portions were small. Sofa was like concrete. The kitchen and living area of cottage was very basic. Parking is very tight and limited.
Although a relatively small jhotel staff were all very friendly and efficient. breakfast was superb!
Was a little apprehensive at first as we booked this hotel as it was the only one in the area that would allow us to stay one night only at a price that was reasonable, rather than on reviews, but we were pleasantly surprised, staff were very friendly, rooms were clean and my daughter and her boyfriend were celebrating a birthday were very impressed with the romm in the roof, very spacious, however the best thing was the food we had a evening meal which was one of the best we have had for a good while, as an ex chef am very hard to please but oh boy! fantastic food, good service and reasonable price. would stay there again.
Friendliness and efficiency of the large team of staff. Good food at most times of the day. Easy-going atmosphere.
The Hotel is very well located for touring North Yorkshire. Staff are friendly and keen to please. The Hotel is well managed and brings together visitors and locals in a cosy bar lounge which we found relaxing.
When the hotel is busy with meals - it is a well respected restaurant - it can be difficult parking in the spaces allocated at the front of the hotel and at the rear.
