Spa is very nice The cusine is far from excellent
Swiming pool, friendly staff This is a 'dog' hotel, so there are a lot of guests with dogs in the restaurant. We first had the 'zillertal' room, which is in need of renovation, and also smelled badly like 'dog'. Luckely we could get a better (renovated) room for the following nights. In the restaurant all chairs had bird-shit on them, which was not cleaned.
Excellent staff. Very good price/quality. Good outdoor and indoor pool. Good breakfast and dinner. Small TV. Beans in the swimming pool.
Nice restaurant, english speaking staff Rather poor breakfest as for 4 star hotel; on arrival day there was no room prepered, so I spent a night in a "spare" room and fortunately next day I have received what I ordered with one night discount
All! Staff, rooms, food, swiming pool, spa, services, restaurant hall, position.. excellent! Congratulation to Magdalena (for mahagement) and husband (for kitchen), Madlaine for welcome... Nothing!
We were newly weds, and during August 2010 we have spent out 1-week honeymoon in Zillertaler Grillhof. First, the food was excellent. We opted for halfboard, which is highly advisable. You get good food at a very reasonable cost. Second, the hotel is really nice, very well maintained and very clean. Third, it is located in a beautiful landscape. Very important: don't miss the Ried im Zillertal church, a mere 100 meters away from the hotel. While modest outside, it is beautiful on the inside. Fourth, there are so many things you can do in Zillertal valley. Redardless of weather. We spent there 6 days and never got bored. To make it short, although this may not be the best place in the world, you cannot be wrong by going there.
