9.5 Excellent
Pros: It feels like home, so nice, cosy and great equiped. Very big space, large bed. Very warm host, we were welcomed by drink and little food. Breakfast was rural and delicious
Cons: Everything great. Steep stairs to our room
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Ans is a wonderful person, very helpful and at her guests' disposal with a lot a good advice and friendly information. The upper apartment is a bless: clean, big enough for a family, with all amenities and a lot of light. The breakfast is such a wonderful ritual: Ans is presenting all the ingredients with such passion and Dutch pride. The cheeses, the meat, the sweets are home made and very tasteful. Not talking about the presentation: we all felt like royals :) The farm and the surroundings are Dutch like: a lot of green, wide spaces and not a noise around. We stood here for 3 nights, but we will be back for sure. As Efteling, Safari Park, Zeeland and small traditional Belgium villages are to be discovered and rediscovered again. We are in love with Netherlands! Thank you very much, Ans and Peter for everything - it was such a blessing to visit a place like yours.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Sweet loft-like stay with a working fireplace, modern bathroom and very comfortable bed. We loved the quiet location and the warm personal welcome/breakfast with local produce. The heated terasse looked awesome though we didn't use it
Cons: Your place to stay if you're looking for a quiet authentic stay, maybe not so much if you're looking for a standard luxe hotel (though all the necessary amenities and more than that are available)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is fantastic. It's in the countryside so it's spacious and quiet. It's 20 minutes from Breda which is a lovely city with many shops, restaurants and beautiful buildings. The staff is very friendly and really make sure that you are comfortable. We stayed in the room on the ground floor. It's spacious, clean, warm, comfortable and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. The breakfast was tasty, biological and fresh! We would definitely come back here.

Pros: The accommodition is in the central of Etten-Leur. We has the rooom number two. It spents a lot of light and was very clean. Thanks to the Housekeeper, our room was provided again every day. You will wake up with birds and the wonderful sound of the bell from the church near by. The breakfast was done indivuelly and you got the space for your wishes. It was plantiful for us. Befor or after the breakfast you got the time to talk with the hostess about your plans for the day or things they you have done yesterday. We has a very nice holiday in Etten-Leur and will come back.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The B&B owner and family, who live in a part of the building, have remodelled beautifully a building dating to the 1840s. The rooms are basically new apartments, and much nicer and roomier than local hotel rooms. They prepare a hearty Dutch breakfast every morning at the convenience of the guests. Perhaps equally important, Mr. Van der Schenk takes great efforts to ensure the guests' stay is fun and fulfilling. In my case, he looked up the bus schedule to ensure I could arrive on time at my academic conference in the neighboring town. With his previous background in the hospitality industry, Mr. Van der Schenk understands how to make guests feel at home.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the staff, how clean it was, how lovely the public shared areas were (terrace restaurant, breakfast Chapel). Our room was huge and the bath lovely and deep.
Cons: We were overcharged, supposed to pay 122.93 Euro (room and two breakfasts), but were charged 142.00 euro, not sure why as the rate we were told when we booked included two breakfasts. So be careful with the charges when you pay. Instead of paying for the room when i booked through booking.com it put a hold on my credit card, and they did payment when we were there. I didn't question the amount as we were running late to get back to Calais, and i wasn't sure what the booking had said. there was an extra charge but the receipt doesn't show clearly what it is for, it looks like a drinks or bar charge, but we didn't run up any charges at the bar - we paid for our dinner and drinks the night before, which came to 89.00 euro, so definitely included our drinks. I will be contacting them to let them know and sort it out.
6.3 Good
Pros: The main building is ok and nice, the breakfast room is impressive and very nice to be in.
Cons: The building with the rooms is outdated and not very comfortable. And since it is some distance from the main building it feels more like a motel than a hotel.
7.5 Good
Pros: Generous room, plenty of parking. Good bath.
Cons: We would have liked a second pillow, though we could have asked Restaurant should provide complementary tapwater Breakfast is a bit too expensive for its value
7.5 Good
Pros: Excellent dinner in the restaurant, nice location. Staff great. wifi very good
Cons: Rooms were in a separate chalet type building, ok unless its raining, and there was no air conditioning.
7.5 Good
Pros: The location was the closest to Breda airport.
Cons: No gym, no pool, no grocery shops in the vicinity, two restaurants in the vicinity. Taxi costs are high. 9 Km €30 one way. No hotel transport provided.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful; the breakfast was good; the room was much bigger than I expected; the little terrace area looking out onto a quiet lawn was nice. The restaurant was pleasant and the food seemed good.
Cons: There was a slight smell of cigarettes in the corridors (though not the room), and on the terrace area there was an un-emptied ashtray. Also I could hear noise from adjacent rooms quite clearly, though it did not really disturb me. The TV reception was poor.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Good restaurant
Cons: Took 2 hours to get the room at correct temperature when arriving . Floor in Bathroom very dirthy . Awful TV connexion .
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very good and friendly staff. The room could have been a bit cleaner but was OK. Perfect location.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Paul the host was a very friendly guy. Stunning location nice and tranquil with all sorts of animals and a lake at the bottom of the garden. Massive bed and comfy best nights sleep for ages.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The owner of the Bed&Breakfast Paul was very nice and helpful. Although we arrived very late, he was waiting for us, to show us everything and to welcome us. It is a big farmhouse with two separate bedrooms he is renting out for B&B. Also there are three smaller flats for long term rents. Every Room has private entrance to the garden and their own tables and seats. Also there is a private Lake Entrance with a nice Lounge place and Barbeque possibilities. We ate most of the time in the garden, because the atmosphere was so nice and quite. The room is big enough and comes with desk and cupboard with a nespresso coffee machine and cettle for tee, which he provides also for his guests. There is no fridge in the room, but the breakfast he offers was sufficient and good. The house is about 1 km outside of Prinsenbeek, but you can also walk there. There are supermarkets near and in the town Center you have restaurants, bars and other shops. The next bigger town in Breda, which was very nice and offers loads of shopping possibilities. The Bed was King Size as written in the description and very comfy. Bedsheets, towels etc where also provided. The room is decorated very sweet, although there are spiders and dust, but I guess this is part of the farmhouse flair and beeing in the nature :) The Wifi connection was poor at our room, but we told him and he fixed it. He also gave us the best advises for day trips at the sea( about 1 h drive) and for boattrips at the national park which is just about 15 min drive from the B&B. We enjoyed the stay very much.
Cons: The Wifi was poor and I would have appreciate it, if there was a small fridge. But nevertheless it was still awesome.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: very good location,peacefull
Cons: room very dark, and lots of dust, cobwebs, needed a good clean through
9.5 Excellent
Pros: A lovely & relaxing place to stay & wind down from a hectic week.
6.3 Good
Pros: The farmhouse is an interesting insight into the area. The proprietor was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good
Cons: Our room was a disappointment. Access to the double bed was from one side, the furniture occupied too much of the available space.

Cons: Not possible to check in before 16:00, and thats really late for check in. Extra service did not excist. Bad dinner at “restaurant” (microwave-dinners) B&b would be more correct name, than a hotel.

Pros: A cosy farmhouse, nearby city center. Chickens on premiss, as well as goats and horses you can pet. Friendly staff.

7.5 Good
Pros: The hotel has a modern feel with an in house theatre. The rooms are spacious as are the showers. Walking distance of shops and bars. The beds and cushions are incredibly soft and had a great night rest.
Cons: We were with two people, there was only one key and you need the key to get outside and inside the hotel. I thought that was a bit complicated, as you always had to free the other one if you were going somewhere seperately..
7.5 Good
Pros: It was quite comfortable
Cons: That I had two single beds as a double bed and that they don't open till 8am on Sunday.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Price and location and free parking
Cons: Bathroom was sober and uncomfortable. Cheap interior.
7.5 Good
Pros: The bed, shower, breakfast and the service
Cons: Nothing to complain
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was unique with just 8 rooms in a conference center type of setting. The rooms were beautiful and we had a corner suite with great views of the windmill and canal. The breakfast was good with yogurt and lots of bread. Would have enjoyed an egg.
Cons: We needed to depart the hotel at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday and did not know that the hotel was locked until 8:00 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. We found out the hard way that we could not get out of the fobbed door as it was locked until 8:00 a.m. and we had to take my elderly father down 2 flights of stairs with all his luggage, etc. A rather unfortunate departure for us all as we missed breakfast as well as it was not open yet. In future I would suggest that the staff let the guests know about the different times for services on the weekends to avoid this happening.

5.8 Okay
Cons: It is more a motel than a hotel and very much overpriced
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Tap water in the bathroom had good taste, no chlorine smell. Great bath, smooth shower gel.
Cons: There is not even water in the minibar. There is not even one tea bag in the room. At the price around 135/night (incl. breakfast) I would expect starting pack - a small bottle of water, few tea bags, maybe instant coffee - included in the room charge (or possible to buy at the reception or in a vending machine without time limit). Opening hours of bar not visibly mentioned, dependent on receptionist (Tue/Wed closed, Thu open).
6.8 Good

Pros: Location good for getting to the office I was working in, Air con good and comfortable beds
Cons: I was given a room next to the outside bar area and a large air con unit needless to say the bar areaa was noisy and and the air con unit switched on and off all through the night which kept me awake after my 2 nights stay I was dying for a good nights sleep, such a shame as the hotel is nice but was not happy to be given a room in such a noisy especially as I was hope to return many times, now not so sure

9.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is in a great location, very central with rooms overlooking the park. The room was well done and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was lovely and had a nice atmosphere
Cons: Breakfast was expensive
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location with a fantastic bar. Staff were very friendly
6.8 Good
Pros: very nice staff and nice dinner at a reasonable price - not like the price for the outdated room
Cons: A DIY breakfast which I did not have time for (was not aware of that concept). No time to make egg and bacon myself, so I missed this and no fruit salad with yoghurt which I normally appreciate (but fresh fruit available though!) The general establishment being very nice, the rooms was more a like 2 star level. Old, small and found only two, hidden and uneasily reachable electrical plugs - that's not enough today. Worst thing was the shower: totally unstable water temperature (maybe due to no thermostat, but cold and hot water taps separated), I got constantly scolded or freezed during my shower. dispite the nice people and dinner, I am not OK to pay 95€ the room for such an experience. Dispite my filter for "hotel with parking" when searching for rooms, this hotel does NOT have a parking of their own. I had to park 1km away, as the public parkings in front of the hotel were full!
7.0 Good
Pros: Location and staff
Cons: Rooms very dated, small , carpet faded, shower a nightmare , water jumps from piping hot to cold or other way around in both rooms. No coffee , tea making facilities in room. Breakfast outrageously expensive a whopping 16.50 euro
7.5 Good
Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was good. The available breakfast was good but did we not want to cook it ourselves on our holiday.
Cons: The pillows were uncomfortable, and the water in the shower went hot and cold while having a shower. It wasn't consistent.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location in a small village of my ancestors, a perfect place for strolling and shopping, and the hotel had a restaurant with very good food. Staff carried our luggage up and down steep stairs.
Cons: Wish there were an elevator. Bedside reading lights could have been brighter. Gluten-free toast would have been appreciated at breakfast, which was at the White Horse (same owners). Lone very nice staff person at breakfast too busy checking out guests up front to be available to show how to work the stove to cook our own eggs.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice and great staff ,thank you Helena ,Jenneke and Roeland !We will be back !!!
Cons: Only the churchbells
8.3 Excellent

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Best value anywhere close to Breda. Darling town to spend the night while bicycling to Antwerp.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfectly placed for a visit to Etten Leur. The hotel has a lot of character and the staff seemed really friendly. I would definitely recommend it and come back again myself.
Cons: You get to make your own breakfast, even going behind the bar to make yourself coffee and even fry your own egg and press your own juice. I didn't mind that - it was quite quirky - but I can imagine some people might find that a bit awkard. Offering to make you a coffee might be a happy medium.

Pros: Location idea, staff helpful
Cons: Expensive drinks, rooms ok but dated
9.3 Excellent
