A passenger who sat next to my husband snored all the time and leaned a bit over my husband as he was heavy."

Cons: "(1) Was about to miss flight because originally my flight booking was from Benazir International Airport Islamabad but t the time of flight I boarded from a different and new airport in Islamabad which had become operational in Islamabad in the last week of April 2018 . My flight was on 10th May 2018 from Islamabad to Doha to Chicago but neither my online booking site ( Kayak ) not Qatar Airways sent any notification that my Boarding was changed from Banzir International Airport to the newer, bigger airport. Consequently , on the day of flight, I went to check in and board from the Bnazir International Airport but upon reaching the airport I was told that the airport was no more in operation. I was surprised to hear that all flights were to be from the newer airport. By the time I rerouted my taxi to the new airport I was already late for my flight but fortunately the flight from Islamabad to Doha, Qatar was delayed and I made it to the boarding time and flew to Doha , Qatar and then to Chicago."

Cons: "I am a very experienced traveller. I always book an isle seat, especially for long flights (this was 12 hrs.), so that I can get up and stretch my legs etc. The couple sitting beside me were upset that I did not take the window seat. When it came time to sleep, the wife stretched out over her husbands legs, who was sitting beside me. This meant her feet were coming on top of my legs, and her legs were forcing her husbands legs into my space, touching my leg - I had to put a pillow between my leg and his leg. I asked the Qatar hostess if she could please ask the couple to change their positions, so that my seating space was respected, resulting in no body touching. The hostess replied that she was not permitted to ask the couple to change their positions and be more respectful. Fortunately there was another unreserved isle seat and I was able to move. Due to the fact that airplanes have become cultural melting pots, thousands of feet in the air, I think it would be peacefully beneficial too all, if a very discreet announcement could be made at the beginning of each flight regrading seating etiquette, respectfulness towards others etc. this could also be printed in the flight magazine. Thanks in advance."

Cons: "I purchased a basic economy ticket and upon checking in, my Delta app said my seat was unassigned and I had to get my boarding pass at the airport. I checked back later and the app had me as number 7 on the standby list. I called Delta (wait time 3+ hours... my flight was in 3), and then the Delta app support where I was able to get through to someone. She told me that the ticket I purchased over a month in advance did not guarantee me a seat on the plane (???). She said that if I was bumped from the flight they would reschedule me for the next morning. She was pretty rude and made it seem like I had a 50/50 shot of getting on this plane. I rushed to the airport in hopes that I would be the first from Standby there, and the gate agent told me that I was fine and would board right after first class and be assigned a seat then. Great. Once I got my seat assignment, I board to find out there is someone else sitting in my seat...... They eventually called the desk and had her moved, but it was the weirdest boarding experience I've had.. and I've flown Spirit. These planes that Delta fly's are SO OLD. Both times I have flown Delta the "turbulence" has been so bad and cold air was blowing right on my the whole flight with no option to turn it off (it wasn't from one of the vents, but from the side). Someone close to me works for Delta and I know for a fact that some of their engines blow mid-flight.. and they tell the passengers that it's turbulence.. so that doesn't make me feel very safe. I won't fly Delta again if there is another comparable option."

Cons: "Everything that could have gone wrong with my flights, went wrong. On my way from LA to Raleigh (through Atlanta), I was affected by the weather conditions at Atlanta. I understand that the weather is beyond Delta's scope of control, but customer service is not. I had to wait in line at LAX for 8 hours to even get information on what had happened, and what solutions were available. The customer service call center was collapsed, and at the airport counters at one point there was ONLY ONE DELTA REPRESENTATIVE serving a line of more than 100 upset customers. This IS Delta's fault, and it is unacceptable. This definitely was under Delta's control, but in order to save a few dollars in overtime for emergency staff Delta was willing to let its customers make terribly long lines, miss their flights, their connections and consequently their commitments. It is disappointing to observe how Delta believes that a few dollars saved on extra staff and emergency measures can offset the irreparable long term damage to its business due to upset customers. My way back from Raleigh to Los Angeles was also a disaster. Without any type of explanation and nothing more than an email announcing the change, the nonstop flight I bought was replaced by a 1-stop flight with connection in Atlanta. This was NOT THE PRODUCT I PURCHASED. There is a reason I paid a premium for a nonstop flight, and Delta did not hesitate in providing me with a less valuable product without any explanation or refund. Delta prioritizes its operational metrics - an obsession to fill and overbook its capacity - over its customers' experience, one again under the foolish belief that short term savings in any way offset the long term damage of disappointed and alienated customers. I will NEVER FLY DELTA AGAIN. I will do whatever I can to transmit my experience to everyone I know. At a time where major airline carriers are in the spotlight due to abusive practices (i.e. the United passenger case), I still find hope in knowing that alternatives such as Southwest still put their customers first, over the ethereal benefits that a few-dollar savings in operational expenses can provide."

Cons: "Delta cancelled the flight after midnight on Friday morning, and never rebooked me. I still haven't heard from them. In not even sure why I'm getting alerts about baggage claim."

Cons: "- The extra baggage fees were 5 times higher than the announced on the website which caused a lot of troubles. - The booked special meals (halal) were too spicy and not proper for children at all ( we just wanted normal meals without non-halal ingredients. - No basic medications on the first flight."

I wouldn’t have booked a flight with such a short layover had I known how far apart the gates were and that we’d have to go through security again. I would suggest not offering flights with such short layovers."

Cons: "The Frankfurt airport is an embarrassment to Germany. Taking buses to your plane, going up and down stairs to depart or board a plane is archaic. Therefore most Lufthansa flights in and out of this main hub are delayed. There should be some rule that meals will not be served to customers who have their seat reclined. The poor person behind them has no comfortable way to eat."

Customer service at our arrival gate was extremely slow. Baggage claim closed before my daughter’s luggage was released and it was lost until the next day. Our connecting flight was booked incorrectly do we had to spend the night in Frankfurt. Our 13 hour flight took 29 hours. The food was awful."

Cons: "As many of you know, Frankfurt/San Diego is a new service offered by Lufthansa. It touts direct flights to and from Europe. It’s main advertising draw was connection to the east. Many of their connecting flights at Frankfurt are scheduled within an hour of arrival. This possess a high risk of missing your connecting flight. I experienced this personally as a major number of my fellow travelers missed their connecting flights. Though Frankfurt has good directions, transfers take a long time due to multiple security checks and due to the size of the Airport. LAYOVER OF AT LEAST TWO HOURS WOULD BE BEST. Anything less, you risk missing your flight. I was personally selected TWICE for ‘random check’ for the same flight! Not sure how that can happen! The flight itself is long and arduous. the economy seats are small, cramped and don’t recline much at all. The entertainment selection was very limited. The TV touch screen barely worked. The food was tasteless and service was not much better. I have a hard time sleeping on flights with such bad seats but we had air hostess who kept talking the whole flight and that did not help with resting my eyes. I highly suggest taking a different airline through LAX. I personally feel like driving to LA and taking a flight there would be the wise move."

They did offer empty "upgraded" premium economy seats for extra $300 on top of what I already paid. seats so narrow & thin (to squeeze more seats In), my hips hurt for final 3 hours. Miserable experience. Lufthansa fails in customer service."

Cons: "Almost was late for our flight, because it took us over 1 hour to pass the passport control at the Frankfurt airport. It was terribly organized and understaffed which caused other people to miss their flight. My husband and I ended up running to our gate like mad men and we were the last to board right before they closed the gate. Very stressful and frustrating!!! Other than that the flight was ok. We were surprised that we were served a dinner right after we took off, but the hot entree was bad, so we ended up asking the flight attendant bring us more bread so we filled up on that."

My carry on, while weighted 7 kg, and was, I believe of standard size was not approved. Again, there was an unnecessary on my mind, second TSA-like check at FRA. Lufthansa could just bring me by bus to the departure gates. I believe that police officers with openly carried machine guns INSIDE of TSA secured zone at FRA is too much (though I am not a law enforcement person)."

My father requested to use bathroom... Boston Lufthansa staff refused to let him step back in plane leaving him standing and very uncomfortable!!! Staff on plane and others applauded at how poorly handled this was. Then finally got chair.. At end of ramp saw a min of 4 chairs and 3 people doing nothing... Still had 4 or 5 people waiting for assistance. Our assistant did not speak English... Or minimal... I told him where we needed to go for scheduled bus he did not listen... Dropping my Dad a significant distance from where I told him... He refused to take him there. Other wheel chair person was dropped there.. So not out of range... But found out they were dropped at wrong stop too!!! However... I believed that most was Logan's fault... But the lack of compassion on Boston Lufthansa was very upsetting to all... But .. Still believe Lufthansa is a wonderful airline and I will in time try to forgive that agent."

My biggest complaint, if you will, is the requirements to pay for anything one wants on the plane. A soda, water, bag of crisps/chips, all for purchase. For the cost of the airline ticket, even our "no checked bag" ticket, you could at least afford to give passengers a can of soft drink or a water and inexpensive bag of pretzels or crisps. Seat was basically comfortable, not great but comfortable. Departed late but arrived on time"

They forced me to close the window while we were flying and I bought a window seat so i could look out. The boarding process was very slow and disembarking took ages. Problems with loading the baggage led to an issue at baggage claim where they were stuck."

Pros: "Flight was smooth and on time. Good flying the 777. Lots of open seats in a not so full flight. The food was good for economy class and the flight attendants very attentive and looking for ways to serve."
Cons: "The arm rests of the seating would not fold all the way up to allow me to spread to the 2 empty seats next to me. I laid across all 3 seats and tried to sleep, however had the armrest jammed into my back and legs. Also, it took too long for the cabin crew to get the passengers convinced to close the window shades, so the cabin was brightly lit for the entire flight."

Cons: "The economy seats are extremely close together. I'm not a large person 5'6") but my knees were practically touching the seat in front of me. There seems to be an inch or 2 more of space on American carriers, which makes quite a difference on a trans-Atlantic flight."

Pros: "The cabin crew was nice. The main dish was good. The entertainment choices were decent and the system worked fine. I don't sleep in planes so it's important to me. I got a forward facing seat so at least I didn't have to deal with the alternative."

Cons: "A couple of mishaps by the crew with no acknowledgement. One of the flight attendants dropped an empty soda can on the floor which was dropped on my toes (I had taken my shoes off) and picked it up with no acknowledgement or apology, even after I screamed out of pain. I was speechless that I didn't even object. In another incident, when asked for food option, I chose chicken vs pasta. When opened my hot plate after 2-3 minutes, I found out I had tofu in front of me. I called the flight attendant and they came over, acknowledged I had the wrong food just to inform me they were out of chicken at that point. If you make a mistake, please offer something in return to make the experience somewhat better."

Cons: "Boarding was chaotic - after having first class and preferred passengers board, it was a free for all for all other passengers, which doesn't make a lot of sense and caused a long line. Due to a malfunctioning piece of equipment, the plane was about 90 degrees during boarding and while waiting for takeoff, which was pretty miserable. Temperature was fine after takeoff. The plane itself was very old, seats were cramped, and the screens for movies/tv (and selections themselves) were very poor, which is disappointing for an 8 hour flight. There were no power hookups either, which my Aer Lingus flight a few days beforehand offered. Finally, the passenger in front of me put his seat back while the plane was boarding, making it a struggle to get into my seat while boarding and to get out of it to let others in my aisle out from time to time for the restroom. Can't really blame the last one on the airline, but it added to the misery."

Cons: "I didn't like how the itinerary only allowed for 1 hr at gatwick airport and I had to go through customs and security just to get from one terminal to another. I talked with one of the BA staff and they said that all of their operations are getting consolidated to one terminal so this shouldn't be a problem in the future."

Cons: "Even before trip started, there were two changes to schedule and not for the better. On actual trip - flight delayed and caused a missed connection. One suitcase got damaged and one went missing... Overall not the best experience this time :-("

Cons: "the rebooking of this flight was terrible, our seats were re booked from British Airways to American Airlines but not ticketed correctly by BA. I had to call airfare.com support four time with no resolution to only end up running from BA back to AA ticket counters only to be met with multiple BA agents that did not take the time to just lookup our flight info correctly. It took multiple time to finally have a BA ticket agent finally correct the issue. Please dont use Airfare.com their support is the worst."

Cons: "Delay, delay, delay.....I understand that plane was struck by lightning and inspecting and checking the plane out is serious business. So British Airways could not spare another plane? Passengers connecting flights were not processed by staff at airport who did not want to rebook passengers. In fact they offered to rebook my flight to Helsinki????? Hey British Airways, my destination is Budapest. I booked this flight based on the reputation of British Airways. I guess it's tarnished as far as I'm concerned."

Cons: "Comfort terrible due to sitting in coach for 10 hours or so. My biggest complaint was that we were not allowed to sit in bulkhead due to the fact we are 70 years old. We both walk and run daily, are in great shape and were very insulted that they would judge on that one thing. So we were crammed in coach. We were allowed on the flight from Austin to London. I tried numerous times, but that is what I was told. They, in my opinion, are due a lawsuit about this."

We shouldn't have boarded the plane on the 4th given the fact that the pilots were probably gonna time out anyway. Instead of wasting time, the protocol should've been to begin rebooking everybody to another flight. Just my two cents"

Pros: "This is not a long flight (Grand Rapids, MI to Newark, NJ: just under 2 hours). There was a minor delay for departure of 20 minutes that Kayak and United kept us well aware of. The Grand Rapids, Ml airport is one of my new favorites -it's small, friendly, comfortable and quick and easy to navigate."

Cons: "Our plane was delayed leaving Grand Rapids. Once in Houston there was no gate available causing another 10 minute delay. All bags were required to be checked plane side so once we finally got off the plane it took another 10 minutes to get our bags. Many passengers had tight connections and had to rush to their next flight. My connection was already tight as it was - and I had to go to a completely different terminal very far from where I was to catch it. Five of us were on that flight connecting to San Diego. We finally made it to the gate. The plane was still there but the door was closed so we were not allowed to board. It was the last flight out so we were stranded in Houston overnight. This caused me to miss a very important medical appointment this morning - and to have to cancel client sessions leading to a significant loss of income."

Pros: "United always has the cleanest planes I've been on the offer a lot for what they have."
Cons: "Seats are a little tight. I'm a 6'4" male knees always in the back of a seat makes for an uncomfortable ride. However the seats are the most comfortable one been on in a nation wide travel."
