Cons: The price was too high for this level of hotel
4.0 Okay
Pros: The breakfast coffee and the old lady that she was supervising the breakfast.
Cons: I had good experience with Holiday Inn before. But this time, I could not believe. We found a couple of dry blood on the blanket and sheets. We were really tired driving for more than 8 hours. However, what we did is just to throw them aside.Price is high
7.0 Good
Pros: Convenient to get to. Breakfast had great selection.
Cons: Negative impression of some staff members.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean
Cons: One employee very nice but totally tweaking from drugs which causes concern about security. She worked in the kitchen.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Lived up to the Holiday Inn Express standard. Very nice and we really enjoyed the town!

Cons: We loved everything about it.
7.0 Good
Pros: Very nice breakfast! Great that the room had a microwave and small refrigerator!
Cons: The bed was saggy and uncomfortable, and needs to be replaced. Seat on toilet was very loose.
7.0 Good
Pros: Happy to find a HI Express in Abilene, after driving in the rain all day. Thought we'd have to drive the extra 24 miles to Salina.
Cons: A bit more dated than most HI Express Hotels. Beds and pillows need to be replaced. Plumbing noise from adjoining rooms was very disturbing. Due for a remodel, but undoubtedly the best hotel in Abilene.
7.0 Good
Pros: Location Breakfast Complimentary shampoo/conditioner was a great brand
Cons: It was old Bathroom was not in the best shape Tub was stained
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was wonderful!

Diamond Motel Abilene - Abilene - Building
8.2 Excellent (210 reviews)

Located in Abilene, Diamond Motel Abilene is in a rural location, within a 5-minute drive of Eisenhower Park and Seelye Mansion. Free self parking is available onsite.
5.1 Okay
Pros: Price
Cons: This place, including the interior, is old and overdue for updating/repairs. Example: Bath sink formica has lifted an inch on the sides. Bathtubs are rusty. Breakfast included was dry cereal and milk. No heat/a/c controls in room. Your at the mercy of what they set temp at for central system. Room was overly cold and blanket provided had to be doubled over to keep me warm Thank god I was solo. Ridiculously small shampoo packets couldn't be opened with wet hands in shower. Everything exudes avoiding spending anything on upkeep and supplies
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Budget motel. What you would expect for the price.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Well maintained older motel. Clean with bright colors. Breakfast is coffee & Cold cereal. One significant item was there was no individual temperature control. Great value!
Cons: No water or sink in the common area so we bought a gallon of water at the supermarket for drinking. The bathroom door didn't shut completely so we reported it.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was great for our purposes, no breakfast
4.5 Okay
Pros: Early checkin.
Cons: Some heat in the room or at least some blankets.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very friendly. Bed was comfortable. Liked location in a quiet residential neighborhood.
Cons: WiFi was very slow
9.5 Excellent
Pros: It was a nice clean little motel. Comfortable. The staff was a delight to interact with.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Did not like this place at all stinks horribly and you can't control your own temperature.
Cons: Individual heat and air conditioner in each room
7.5 Good
Pros: The room was pretty quiet.
Cons: Not being able to adjust temperature.
6.0 Good
Pros: Price was good, check in agent friendly
Cons: Very dated property with off odors in the room, stained carpet. Outside in need of paint, property adjacent to a trailer park. Included “breakfast” was drip coffee and a choice between corn flakes, raisin bran, cheerios or fruit loops with only a gallon of milk in the small refrigerator-hardly what I would call a breakfast.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: On a quiet side street a short drive from the Interstate, the Diamond is well-named with clean, spacious rooms, a friendly staff and outside picnic table under a tree with flowers. There's also a special room with three-basin sink for cleaning upland game birds. Cool. Breakfast is simple cereals and milk, and coffee. Basic but enough to get you going without wasting time.
Cons: Unfortunately, we assumed the mini-fridge, unplugged and with door ajar, was just being defrosted. Turns out it didn't work, or we miss-set the temp. We just gave our steaks to staff on leaving to cook or toss.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable room. Bed very nice King. Friendly desk clerk. Quiet. Good location easy to access sites.
Cons: Minimal breakfast, cereal only

8.0 Excellent
Pros: This little hotel is reasonably priced. Nothing fancy... but that wasn't expected with the low cost.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Some what easy to find
Cons: Room smelled like mold floor dirty ice machine broke, juice machine didn’t work needs some serious TLC.
6.3 Good
Pros: The lady that greeted us was very nice and the morning breakfast was good.
Cons: The room had a very very strong odor - not sure if it was a particular cleaning product or just a bad smell in general. It gave me a severe headache. Also, there was a group of high school girls (possibly college) that were VERY loud - running in the hallway and knocking on each others doors and yelling. This happened continuously until I finally opened my door at 11:00 pm and asked them to stop. I do understand that this is not fault of the Super 8 staff - but it just made the stay less comfortable.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location was fine.
Cons: The grounds were in pretty bad shape.
7.5 Good
Pros: Friendly staff. Housekeeping is awesome!
5.8 Okay
Cons: The room was musty and smelled.

Cons: First room the toilet was leaking. Was not clean and had spiders.
3.8 Mediocre
Cons: The room smelled bad and the smoke alarm was missing from the ceiling. The smell was was a damp, old odor. The bathroom sink had a long hair on it, so the room felt like it wasn’t cleaned that well

9.5 Excellent
Pros: I needed a room for the night. The facilities were spotless, the mattress very comfortable and the staff was extremely friendly. The price was right!
7.5 Good
Pros: Quiet.
Cons: It was a little dated. They have tried to modernize, but paint will only go so far. Over our ten day trip, no other hotel charged for our dogs. $30.
6.3 Good
Pros: The inn was conveniently located in town. Check in was very quick. The area was quiet at night. Cheap price. Room came with a microwave and fridge, but no coffee maker.
Cons: The room felt very dirty - one spider and beetle were seen on the bed frame and wall, respectively. Given the very good price, I was expecting this inn to be similar to many of the Motel6-type establishments I have slept in before. However, I was unable to sleep because the room, carpet, and bed felt very dirty. The bathroom also had a strong mold smell and the bathtub floor was broken. I did not eat breakfast at this establishment, which consisted of cereal and coffee in a pot. Breakfast is served in their lobby, with foldable TV trays as tables. Water can be purchased for 75c per bottle in the lobby.
6.3 Good
Pros: Price, location.
Cons: Room smelled old and stale. Full-size refrigerator (not plugged in) in corner...guess it was just stored there.

Pros: Place needs tore out and redone the carpet looks like it could be 500 years old very tiny room stinks the worst ive ever stayed in before
Cons: Could have been cleaned I'm by no means a clean freak but this place looked like it hadn't been cleaned or really even occupied for some time
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Property had bed bugs
Cons: Property had bed bugs
8.8 Excellent
Pros: super soft beds got in late and the front desk waited for us and unlocked the front office when we got there
10.0 Excellent
Pros: bed
Cons: kinda cool
4.3 Okay
Pros: Price
Cons: The sick stench of curry in the office. The cockroaches.
7.0 Good
Pros: When you drive up to the property you get the impression that this is an old run down motel where gangsters killed each other off and has that Bates Motel kind of vide. It's actually a clean and comfortable place on the inside. The owner greeted us at check-in and was pleasant and helpful. A continental breakfast is served but we actually had breakfast out. For the price, it's a good value.
Cons: Our room had no control over the A/C but we were comfortable.
