Pros: Old world elegance, excellent breakfast, fine complimentary concerts most evenings
Cons: Evening front desk staff which blatantly pushes guests to restaurants which pay them for referrals.
Pros: The location, the staff and the breakfast.
Pros: Staff was very helpful, allowed early check in after long international flight. Breakfast was great. Location was central. Room and lobby were lovely.
Cons: Nothing not to like.
Pros: Everything at this hotel is to like. From the setting, room furnishings, attention to detail, amenities, breakfast and excellent staff.
Cons: Couldn't find one fault with this hotel. Would be delighted to find a reason to go back.
Pros: The location, in the heart of Lisbon, is great.
Cons: You get the worst of the two worlds, old and new.
The facilities are old, and oddly for a historical hotel, quite charmless. The rooms are dark, the bedding cheap, and the room furniture straight out of the seventies. Although "run-down" would be an exaggeration, the hotel seriously needs a face lift, a bit more comfort, and some taste in its decorations (throwing sloppily a hodge-podge of old-looking furniture doesn't really do it, nor holding on to carpets that haven't been changed in twenty years.) The amenities are next to non-existent (for example, the hotel does not have a restaurant.)
You obviously cannot expect a historical hotel to have the same level of comfort and the same amenities as a modern one. But would it be too much to ask that a five-star try?
You pay for five-star and you get a three-star.

Guests indulge in massages, then grab a bite to eat at the restaurant. 2 bars/lounges and an outdoor pool are other highlights at this luxurious hotel, and rooms offer up nice touches like iPod docks and premium bedding.
Pros: A beautiful hotel, peaceful, lovely restaurant and breakfast room, pleasant, helpful staff.
Cons: Nothing not to like.

Location next to castle, very scenic. Hotel was beautiful. However, don't use Priceline.com because they have mistakes on the site, and then it is IMPOSSIBLE to get into the support to get corrected. Support requires you enter booking number AND phone, but due to long distance quality, entering numbers did not work, and it was IMPOSSIBLE to reach a human being. I did not have this problem with other services which will connect you to a human when the tone-dial is not working. This is a BIG problem, and one bad example wipes out all the benefit from many many good experiences.
Pros: Rooms and view were great.
Cons: Hotel was fine. Priceline.com however was incredibly difficult. Priceline had a false description of the hotel, that contradicted the receipt I got. Spent 1 hour, failed to get support. Hotel helped straighten out, but will NEVER use Priceline again.

Pros: yes, it is close to airport.. since we were arriving late in the night and leaving very early in the morning, I picked this hotel for it location -- few minutes to airport.
We stayed in NH hotels before so I was thinking I am safe..
Cons: Asked for 2 twin or 1 double bed hoping for double as I was traveling with my husband
Got room with 4 twin beds, not something you are looking forward of exchanging in the middle of the night when you have just 6 hours of rest..
Little did I knew..
I heard all the toilets flashing in the hotel (mind middle of the night)
All the noise from dancing in the room above me
All the suitcases which started to leave hotel around 4am..
and train from few blocks away
I guess that hotel has paper walls..
Got to the plane soo tired... could have spend this night on the streets
Pros: Staff were very nice.
Cons: Room was not very big.
Airplanes voice was molestimg.
