Rooms don't seam to be thoroughly cleaned. Dirty towel under the bed from previous guest, wastebasket not emptied from previous guest. Linnie's have hair in them.
Location I travel consistently for business and as a Marriot rewards member this is the worst Extended Stay EVER!!!! I attempted to check-in 1 hour prior to check-in and the room was not ready which was not a problem however, there is no restroom in the lobby and

Cleanest extendedstay property in san jose area. We have stayed at several and liked this one best
the manager was amazing and very helpful. I have stayed in many ESAs and this was by far the best. There's no where to buy food within walking distance.
Excellent staff! Maintenance person was fantastic. Front desk staff are friendly and good. Free parking with plenty of space available. Very convenient to north San Jose and Santa Clara parts of Silicon Valley. Housekeeping was disappointing, though when I reported the issues, they resolved them promptly. Also, the air conditioning struggled to keep up and maintain the set temperature.

There is one employee at this location . She alone was the reason we stayed after some issues with the hotel room. This woman is an asset to your hotel. The amenities of the Hotel said there was Breakfast, what it failed to mention is that it is 'grab & go' muffins and coffee. One of the rooms bathtub was stopped up with hair, the refrigeration unit wasn't working, no daily housekeeping, slowww intern
The room came with a kitchen that had frigerator stove top and kitchen sink. You're able to use the appliances that the hotel provides for cooking The location wasn't the best. Not many things around besides the Niners Stadium
Location needing to ask for kitchen stuff... WC was losing water while time... Train noise... Internet, even paying was way too slow!

Location Bed was uncomfortable and did not have enough covers shower was outdated and shower head was cheap No coffee station in room Sparsely decorated
Clean, comfortable, upscale, great location in heart of city near restaurants, businesses, arena, light rail, freeway. Wonderful accomodations. Easy check- and check-out. Expensive parking. We parked in a garage one block from the hotel to avoid unreasonable $26 nightly fee. Most big cities charge this much, and higher, but why do have to shrug our shoulders and say, "that"s just the way it is". It feels like the baggage fees on the airlines.
Can't really think of anything. 1. Room was dated. 2. Room with a view had no view. 3. Parking was expensive. 4. Hotel had no charm or allure (other than the advertised picture).
Walking distance to downtown San jose & Staff was great
Fancy, various locations to eat and enjoy yourself with partner and great America in a 13 min drive distance just a great stay after all and great valet service Beware of an extra 100$ charge at check in just in case you break anything in the hotel but will be refunded after check out and line is to long with no one trying to help them out to make the line go faster
We were very impressed with the staff all around, reception, bellmen, cleaning staff etc. Lots and lots of hidden fees that will drive up your bill significantly.
Wonderful environment, great Beds close to San Jose Convention Center. Very Friendly Staff, impecible Service.
Great hotel, room and staff! Got free upgrade upon arrival and an extra 1/2 hour checkout time so we could go to the next door art museum without a hassle.
I liked that it was downtown close to bars, clubs and restaurants.
A property in the Fairmont family. Being in historical downtown next to sites of value. Relying on amenities of a high end hotel which did not disappoint. The staff was friendly and helpful in all encounters. Extra fees for wifi these days seems unnecessary. Having to use hotel cards to go between tower and main facility (although security is appropriate).
Clean rooms with feel of knowing they are clean Ac went out. Super hot. Small beds
Rooms Staff at the door
Great location and amazing hotel. The amenities were good as well. The rio was a nice size and I had a view of Levi Stadium. When I came back to the hotel at about 11pm there were no parking places. I believe outsiders were at the bar or guests had their friends visiting. When you are paying for a hotel room it's annoying not being able to park in the parking lot.
Everything was great Everything was good all people there are helpful
check in and out convenience. Movies extremely expensive.
It's a good hotel with all the facilities you need, conveniently positioned across the road from the Hyatt convention center. No free WiFi, which for the price of the room, I would have expected.
Helpful and friendly staff who keep up with the demands and requests of the guest. Also, a very quiet and clean space that allowed us to get our rest.
Clean. Comfortable beds. Great shower. Friendly helpful staff.
The restaurant had very high quality food for the price and the bar was elegant and very accessible. Need to have FREE wifi in the rooms! This is 2015 AND the hotel is in the heart of silicone valley. For shame! Hilton
Andy the concierge took care of us like an old friend.
Was given a double bed instead of a king. Uncomfortable and had to sleep in two different beds
Room was excellent, except my city view was a view of the stadium. Can't really complain about that though it was fine. They even sent up a bathrobe to my room when I asked. There was some youth convention going on which wasn't really a problem. However it took me a while to get on the elevator to get to my room
The staf was extremely accommodating and friendly. the food in the restaurants was of excellent quality and the Lounge Bar was an excellent place to relax and grab a light meal. The room was large and perfect for my business trip. I liked everything about this hotel
Amazing views, great service and great bar
The design of the hotel is amazing! I love the modern feel and everything feels new. Downside was I came on a day where teenagers called "future business laws of America" were staying for the weekend. They were loud and obnoxious in the hallways, elevators, and at the pool. It seemed like I could never get away from them!
Restaurants in hotel close to airport Rooms were outdated
Love that every room has their own balcony for fresh air. Great ammenities down stairs and friendly staff! I always enjoy the excellent customer service here. The location of the hotel is convienent, close to restaurants, shopping, and airport. Going in and out of the parking lot became an issue. At the Doubletree guests have the option of valet or self park (you are charged a nightly fee per night). We chose to self park, upon entering and exiting guests must use a parking ticket to do so, the parking meter ended up not working so we'd be stuck for 15-20 minutes along with everyone else trying to get out. They should use room keys for this versus paper tickets that eventually get bent out of shape.
They overbooked rooms. We booked and paid for our room weeks in advance. When we arrived late at night with our three children, they told us they didn't have a room for us and sent us to another hotel. It was pretty awful.
Warning: Parking is NOT free at this hotel, not even for guests. You'll be forced to pay $20 to park per night! This made for a very obnoxious surprise during check-in.
Very friendly staff. Nice breakfast. The hotel nickel and dimes you. $2.50 for bottled water, $19 a day for parking, expensive breakfast and dinner.
room size old decor poor food choices old shower old amenities unclean pool
The room was clean and tidy. Very simple, no art or decor to speak of. The lobby looked new and modern. Staff was very professional and nice. The HHonors floor was still in carpet from the 90's. Very old and out-dated. The room was very dated as well. My daughter who is 5'4" could press on the ceiling tiles, they were so low and old.
I was charged twice for parking at the hotel. We were not allowed in/out entry into the parking area with our room keys. I was charged for parking at the parking gate and on my final bill. I called the hotel for REFUND and I haven't seen the refund on my bank statement as of this moment.
Rooms are spacious and clean. You have to pay for almost everything else; internet, parking, breakfast.
The proximity to the convention center and civic hall was crucial for my team's stay and this property is next to both. The accomadations and staff were excellent. I would recommend splurging a little fir the concierge lounge.
Room was very quiet, even with all of the airplane traffic on approach to San Jose Airport.
Had a problem with the first room but they helped me switch rooms no questions asked
The valet service was overwhelmed since the hotel had no self park option. Plus, the valet was serving guests who weren't even staying at the hotel but attending a concert or conference in the area. It's a bit ridiculous that it takes 20 minutes to drop off a car with valet and another 20 minutes to pick it up.
Top notch hotel. Clean, newly remodeled, all amenities & on site restaurants etc The valet. He did not specify pricing of valet vs self park or exactly where self park was located.
Pay WiFi with speed tiers.
Excellent location, top choice for San Jose. Walking distance to major attractions and night life in the area. Excellent VTA transit access as well. Also consider the Hilton and Fairmont nearby. Valet parking is $29 with in/out privileges. This is a reasonable price for the area.
Great room overall, clean hotel in excellent location. Close to shops, food, and activities. Great service and friendly staff. Convenient parking (though it costs extra even without valet) garage connected to the hotel. Only a block away from Original Joe's. Despite a few quirks, I would stay here again. Charge for WiFi (unless you are an Elite member), ridiculous prices for snack shop food and goods ($5 for a Dairy Milk candy bar, $6 for an Odwalla Smoothie!), $45 for a t-shirt! Also, the hotel smells like the air freshener they pipe in at many of the Las Vegas hotels (could be a plus if you like that). Also, the choice of "aromatherapy" soaps are awful--why not go the clean, fresh scent of soap instead of burned wood?
I really Liked its location, we were attending a event at the convention center and the hotel is actually leads into the convention center. That was great! We didn't have to walk at all. All staff members were extremely nice and willing to offer any help that they could offer. The hotel was very busy due to the event, but the staff still dealt with customers in a very polite and friendly manner. I also wanted to say thank you to this hotel for not treating us any different than there other guest, we have been to other hotels and due to our ethnic background have been treated like we were some how less. This hotel did an excellent job treating everybody well and respectively Thank you so much! Some of the things that we weren't so pleased with that room service had certain hours and that it wasn't 24 hours and that the rooms were a little smaller than what we excepted. But overall we had a great experience
The room looks clean and nice (1) The materials for bathroom and bathtub look very cheap...like Motel 6 (2) Soap scum were very where inside the bathroom, around the walls, in between the tiles, on the floor...yuck..yuck...yuck. (3) Dust was very where inside the bathroom, on top of base board, surrounding water faucet... (4) Faucet inside the bathtub was rusty and dirty. This should be easily to take care of with $10 spray paint for home depot. (5) Rest room located on the first floor was not clean or not being cleaned regularly. Trash was overflown and just can't believe this happened at the Hyatt hotel. I would never come back here again.
Breakfast Small room, no pool or spa
Is a great hotel, in my groups opinion it was better suited for many people than the Fairmount Hotel. Next year for fanime we will be staying at the Arena Hotel the whole time.
Walk to the SAP Center. Free parking. Free breakfast. Nice rooms!
Nice staff Being woke up at 3am due to excessive loud noise outside the hotel window
Everything, from cleanliness of our room to the friendly service.
This is the best place to stay if you don't want to drive when attending an event at the SAP Center, which is less than a 10-minute walk. I also like that the place is very clean, the hotel and our room. My friend was in town to attend a concert with me and we were both very happy with the accommodations, especially since we just wanted a clean, safe place to stay and this was the place. The complimentary breakfast was pretty decent too. They had hot and cold options. The hotel is a bit dated but my main concern is cleanliness and safety.
The hotel is dated and could use a remodel, but it was reasonably priced. The room was clean, large but old. There was a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom which we didn't use. The switches and timer where outside the bathroom which dated the place. Still the room was good for what we needed it for. We had a good stay there.
Close proximity to SAP center for events. New carpet and furnishings. Had a refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot in the room. Air conditioner did not work, it was blowing hot air. Bathroom was dingy looking but superficially clean. Their recent remodel did not include the bathroom.
Guys at the front desk are all super nice. Lady at the front desk could try smiling.
The room was beautifully remodeled with high ceilings and lots of space. Continental breakfast was filling and fresh. My first impression of the hotel was not great, however, the staff was friendly and the rooms were very clean. The rooms above us were a little noisy.
Location was convenient The staff was unfriendly, I did not feel welcome. The lighting in the room was terrible, air conditioning difficult to adjust, and carpet was dirty
Lighting in the room was poor, the shower temperature would constantly fluctuate between scolding hot and just barely warm. The hallways still smelled of fresh paint and carpet was a bit tattered. Location isn't bad and the staff and breakfast was great.
The grounds are really nice with a large and comfortable patio seating area and swimming pool. The furnishings in the room were old, old, old, and poorly decorated.
Driving up the residential street and coming upon the entrance for the 1st time gives you a feeling of stepping back in time to another era. The attention to detail and the beautiful wood trim all around gave a feeling of a very special place. I had only one night to explore the mansion and surroundings.
We stayed here 1 night in room 121. It was a suite with easy access to the swimming pool. The back door lead right to the swimming pool. The pool looks bigger in the picture but it's still a excellent size. The staff was great and Sunday brunch was delicious. Good hotel to relax and get away from the regular 9-5. The only thing I can critique is we were there on a Saturday and there's was nothing special for dinner. The bar food was ok and room service food was ok. No restaurants walking distance but no big deal. Everything was releasing
The staff was very helpful when it was found out that the website I had booked through hadn't communicated with the hotel fully and they had to go digging for my reservation. But I got a room, it was very nice, even if a bit cramped, but that didn't detract from my stay. The grounds were very nice. I enjoyed their exercise room, it was more filled out than most hotels. I just wish I had had warmer weather to enjoy the pool and more time to enjoy every other feature of Hayes Mansion.
Used condom wrapper in the drawer. Need i say more.
Staff incredibly attentive The shortness of our stay
I had called ahead to make sure I coukd check in late, but when i got there, I couldn't find the front desk person (or anyone) for 5 minutes, then when I finally found her, she found my reservation, but couldn't tell what rooms were available & so had to call her manager, and long story short, it was just over half an hour between when I walked in the front door and walked into my room. She said it was her second day, which I can only imagine is really overwhelming, so I was trying to be patient, and I've had good experiences every other time I've stayed there, but i have to say, this one left a sour taste in my mouth.
Everything from the room/bathroom was spotless incredibly clean . beautiful place to stay. Absolutely no negative comments to say.also GREAT STAFF! Very helpful and on point..even if I have to go out of my way to stay here again it would be worth it.very quite also.no traffic noises etc.will be back for another stay asap!!!
Beautiful grounds Nice rework of what was there previously Nice pool and hot tub Good lounge Ample parking Comfortable bed Difficult to get to (in the middle of a neighborhood) Staff wouldn't print me a receipt (big issue on business travel) Pool / spa could be open later
Great grounds and plenty of character; a relaxing venue with history and luxury.
Nothing Rooms smell staff were rude
No breakfast included and elevators had water all over the floor from people drudging in from the pool area.
Nice and clean rooms, front desk staff was very friendly, the dessert I ordered for in-room dining was superb. This was by far the loudest hotel i have ever stayed at, there was no noise insulation! The staff was loud while cleaning the rooms, I could hear a party/loud music from the 2nd floor (I was on floor 6), the guests passing in the hallway were loud and obnoxious, all I heard most of the night was people yelling, hollering and screaming. Never again!
EVERYONE WAS NICE AND FRIENDSLY THE BEDS WERE A LITTLE TOO HARD
Great staff and service.
Options for breakfast buffet That I couldn't take my food to my room.
Close to working sites for business trips. The room smell is bad.
I made an honest mistake and booked the hotel for a Check in Friday and check out Saturday. I meant to check in Saturday with a check out Sunday. I wasn't able to stay at Crown Plaza and they weren't able to switch my room date or give me a credit. I had 3 kids under 4 years old with me also. I WAS CHARGED FOR A ROOM I DIDNT EVEN GET TO STAY IN
Despite being in an outer corner room on a very busy intersection, it was extremely quite in our room. We did hear sirens a few times but nothing too bad. Our room was very clean and comfortable with pleasant decor. The breakfast was plenitful and with a fair amount of options. The bed and pillows were both very comfortable. We have stayed here before and would definitely stay again as well as recommend it. Only a slight nit pick, but I would suggest maybe updating the down comforter in the room we stayed (3257) or others possibly. Ours definitely had seen better days and was a lot more worn out than what I would expect from a Joie de Vivre hotel. Do something to fill the gap at the bottom of the door to the room, it's too big allowing air come in and a bit of noise from the hallway.
Little touches like pool towel service (soft rich absorbent!) and text confirmations. Not really a high end or charming boutique hotel, just a well run chain.
Nice and pleasant staff - The place is not quiet, loud noise when the neighbor starts water (which woke me up VERY early) - Basic breakfast, expected more.
Central location, good parking A little noisy (room was near the pool). Blinds did not close properly and there was landscape lighting outside
Chintzy Internet that requires reauthenticating every day. Location is not convenient to highways.
Free wifi, comfy bed, decent shower. Convenient and free parking, close to some great restaurants. Crap TV channels, no on site food/beverage services, small room, overpriced, horrible breakfast, construction on my outside wall early morning,
There are great people working at Wild Palms Hotel!
Stayed in three different hotels during this trip. Paid a third the price of the fancy business hotels and had a better experience with friendlier staff and rooms that were on par for a mid-range hotel. Room was clean with a warm décor - felt less like a cookie-cutter hotel room.
Good breakfast, nice room, good location for us.
Much of the property is under construction...plastic and sawdust everywhere, and workers start very early in the morning. If this was disclosed during booking it would have helped set my expectations of the place. The shower handle was broken off and there was hair in the drain. They are clearly focused on the renovation, not their current guests.
The stay overall was great. Clean, big room, & bathroom. They even provided some good channels on direct tv to watch while staying which is a bonus. While checking in, receptionist was not friendly and did not go into detail of why I was getting charged 200 deposit.
Breakfast had a nice variety with a waffle maker and omelet bar. Happy hour is a great break and a nice touch. The front desk staff were nice and the room was well made. WiFi was reliable and quick. Parking was included.
Service was terrible. Rachel the hotel manager was a nightmare to work with. Contacted main manager and never received any follow up
Very quiet, nice breakfast, large room. Our room was just steps from the lobby despite apparent low occupancy for the holiday weekend. The room was missing a few amenities - hair dryer, hand towels, tv list, any kind of directory about the hotel.
Nice hotel and I very clean room, will be coming back for more stays. Front desk took way too long to give me a room 45 minutes.
room service was delicious and fast. Stay was very comfortable. Beautiful large bathroom. Great location.
The newly renovated rooms and baths are simple and elegant. The Hedley Club lounge serves good food & cocktails. Conveniently located in downtown San Jose, short walk to Convention center. The room lacked many standard amenities: 1) password protected, high speed Wi-Fi (Wi-Fi was free, slow and unsecured) 2) in room safe large enough to fit a laptop 3) stocked mini-bar (empty mini-fridge provided but there were no vending machines or in hotel shop to buy snacks & drinks) 4) in room guide/magazine with local/city info
The bathrooms were well furnished... Better than the actual rooms. The staff was very friendly. True price I paid was not worth the room. It was a very crampt room with ancient furniture. The rooms were a boring shade of beige and our window view was another building being constructed. It's layout seemed more that of a comfort inn with a price tag of 90 dollars a night rather than 150. It's not worth the price, if you have a car go to a comfort inn and save some money cause got the same experience.
We loved the late night pantry
Fun location, great vibe, beautiful common areas and outdoor living space. Wonderful breakfast included with room. Called to confirm pool was open (November) with beverage service, were told it was and that someone would come out to offer us drinks. Nobody ever came for 3 hours.
It's super clean, the staff is friendly, the rooms are nice, there is a hot tub, there is a gym, the mattress is phenomenal -- best night of rest, it's quiet, it's in a good location for restaurants/shopping. It's a good stop if you're in the area. No complaints.
Very comfortable room. Close to shopping and great food.
Staycation Paradse... Ran away Halloween night... Great food drinks and security keep fun a perfect balance
The Valencia Hotel is one of my all time favourite hotels. the location is excellent, priced competitively and the staff are friendly and helpful. Great service!
Great hot tub and pool in a convenient location right in Santana row. Spacious rooms, well furnished and decorated. A welcome respite from Silicon Valley. N/a
the cleanliness and uniqueness of the room and facility
Convenient location, rooms are spacious Staff who were responsible for room service, hotel operator on phone were outright rude
The dacor is cheap but effective, much as the facility itself. The mattress was good enough, and they had pillows of variable firmness. The wifi was fast enough for my needs, though I was dropped once. If you are harder of hearing, this is _the_ place for you! Nice amenities, though much of it built as cheaply as possible, and one has to run the Air Conditioning fan (from which, ours did not blow cold air) to generate the white noise to override the televisions and conversations from our neighbors above, below, and on each side, as well as the traffic noise from 85. I hope I'm still as effective, though slow, when I'm as old as the elevator is now. Forget the shared balcony. There's no sound-proofing in the French Doors, so you hear every annoying syllable your drunk neighbors emit, as well as every hybrid accelerating down the 82/85 interchange ramp right below and behind the property.
The breakfast was a nice touch with an omelette bar. Their confusion of the bil. They showed an over charge $379.84 hopefully I will get this back.
Friendly Staff. Clean, comfortable room with a better breakfast than one expected.
It was very clean and comfortable. The room came with a mini fridge and microwave. Great cable TV channels, more than I've ever seen and it was free. Staff were always friendly. The free breakfast was good with made to order omelets, oatmeal with all the trimmings, breakfast potatoes, meat choice, waffles, cereals, etc. I stayed Sunday through Thursday and the price was unbelievable for this area with what it offers. I've recommended it to my friends and coworkers. Also the bed was super comfortable. The free internet was really fussy but I'm secret happy about that... It kept me from working and I actually relaxed instead. People complained about the noise-- my room faced the freeway above the wall-- I didn't really hear much and put the ac fan on only and I heard nothing-- so that isn't a complaint.
Friendly staff, great breakfast buffet with custom omelettes, comfortable bed, heater and frig not too loud, convenient right off hwy 85. Lots of places to eat close by. Near to Stanford. Much better value than Domain Hotel nearby. Nothing.
The complimentary breakfast far exceeded our expectations - made to order omelets, sausage, freshly made potatoes. And the front desk staff were incredibly friendly.
Hotel Zico is sweet and like getting away to a Greek island. The hotel was beautifully set up to get away from the city bustle I'm used to. I enjoyed the comfy beds and close dining areas around the hotel. The walls are thin so we got to hear rowdy kids at night and loving couples too. So the other hotel visitors were the issue not the hotel it's self.
Great location, clean room, friendly service, above-average breakfast, fast WiFi, nice layout. Can't think of any complaints.
The room was very stylish and functional. All the amenities that a solo traveler needed. If I'm in the area again this is where I'm staying.
great breakfast and friendly staff
Comfortable Room and able to good a good night's sleep. Breakfast room was a good size. Buffet style service- waffles, hard boiled eggs, toast, banana bread muffins, country potatoes, sausages/bacon or both, and made to order omelet, greek yogurt and toppings. We could usually skip lunch. Need to approach hotel slowly on El Camino- Entrance driveway is close to the entry for Route 85S - If you miss it- need to drive and make some U-turns on El Camino to get back.
Decent staff, good bed, not terribly expensive for the area. Breakfast is all right, with eggs-to-order being the highlight. My room faced a porch where people talked on the phone and smoked at all hours, and the door didn't block noise or smoke. The wifi was terrible -- frequent dropouts, got kicked off the network all the time, and slow even when it worked. Hard to find in between freeway ramps. Ubers always get lost picking me up here.
great location to great America and close to all good restaurants nothing
Friendly & helpful staff, comfy beds, nice linens, clean rooms. Relatively quite. Conveniently located near convention center, stadium. Expensive for a remodeled motel. Difficult-to-find front office--shared with IHOP entrance. Also hard to find light switches in room (looks like IKEA lighting). Awful lighting over mirror. Teensy exercise room.
Walking distance to Levi Stadium. Email for online check in and extra towels. Clean. Helpful staff. Rooms tiny with 2 beds which are more like extra wide twins than doubles. Bath also like closet. Motel like format. Room rate of over $300 ridiculous. Worst value ever.
Hotel was lovely and staff was very nice and friendly. Would recommend.
Everything else but the tub was amazing. The bed was comforting and the staff was great. They really are just super friendly and very welcoming. I would recommend staying here. It's affordable for what they offer. You can easily notice that they used like those dry wall putty things to fix tares in the tub. It really looked dirty than upkept.
A very easy check-in and great modern deco
This is not a three star hotel, and yet, I paid $170 a night to stay here. Hotel is about a mile from the conference center, but unless you're at the Hyatt (connected to the conference center) or directly across the street, you'll want to drive so the distance isn't as relevant. Nothing worked how it was supposed to. Bathroom from 1997, check. Shower knob that is impossible to use unless you put your back into pulling it out, check. Damp smell because you can't even open the windows, check. Lamps from Office Depot (genuinely, I have similar lamps at my office) that give you a feeling you're in a doctor's office, check. Shoddy paint job, check. I booked through Priceline, which was a mistake. I refused to spend my last night in this hotel, and when I called Priceline they supposedly called the hotel and claimed the hotel wouldn't refund my last night even though the quality was so poor. Similarly, the hotel said they wouldn't refund my last night because of Priceline. Long story short, I decided to eat the cost of spending the night somewhere else to avoid yet another day in this sad, sad hotel/motel. This is an $80 hotel, not a $180 hotel.
comfy beds with lots of good pillows far from good restaurants, outdoor access to rooms, limited pool hours
I liked the drink coupon. The service was great . Our room was very nice and clean. There was too many kids around . The pool was kinda of tiny and dirty. I saw dead fly and a bandaid so I didn't get in the pool.
Staff was excellent. Breakfast was very nice. Room and bath look worn and dated. Linens were worn and had holes.
The free breakfast is great every time we stay here. The rooms are big, location is perfect, and the bartenders make good drinks. The bar closed too early for us. We went back around 10 pm after the Sharks game and it was already all closed up on a Saturday night.
The rooms are nice Smelt like smoke on the 5th floor. Not a lot but too much!
Great amenities with pool/workout room/ and arcade, clean, and spacious rooms Room had a little of a smoke smell and I'd pass on the bar area.
Loved how nice the staff was from the initial entrance of the hotel. The room was lovely and very clean. Bathtub not very big for the suite. But that's out of their control.
Very comfortable. I wanted to stay longer.
Good breakfast and the room was nice for a short stay. The lobby and common areas were very nice. Front desk staff was very nice, fast, and efficient. Room was rough around the edges. Traffic sounds from the highway were very loud in the room. The bathroom needed some repairs - the shower was nearly impossible to turn on the valve was so stiff. Bar staff was slow and rude.
Super nice room. Very friendly staff Entire hotel was full of kids...baseball league
Breakfast Buffet was very convenient especially for families Small bathrooms
Very friendly staff, suites with 2 flat screen tv's, immaculate rooms, nice linens and toiletries. GREAT COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST!!
The beds were confortable and the rooms clean. They changed me to 3 different rooms in 5 days because of several issues so I get the chance to try several beds. The staff was friendly. The outside of the building looks more like a motel and the carpets looks old. In my first room, the AC was broken and it was 80F. They moved me to another room the next day just under the construction. The renovation was going from 8:30am until 6pm weekend included. Add the noise of the airplanes taking off, this hotel was the noisiest place I ever stayed. The hotel is directly under one of the runaway of San Jose airport and not next to it so the noise is higher than any airport hotel I stayed in the past. The food was terrible. I ate outside after my first breakfast there. There is no restaurant on-site or nearby. Their parking shares the parking of a fastfood but I don't call this a restaurant to eat. The neigborough was really not nice (industrial looking). I would never come back here.
I've always thought La Quinta's were great motor hotels, but I was not expecting to find such a beautiful modern style design, like other boutique hotels. The room was clean, the hotel staff were great. Access to WiFi was easy. And It took me less than ten minutes to get to the airport. There are not a lot of dining choices near by, but it gave me an excuse to explore the city. I found some great restaurants about ten minutes away.
Room was clean. Most of the staff was friendly.
Newly remodeled w super friendly staff Our room had bits of food on the floor and someone else's sock- hadn't been vacuumed or cared for. The door had clearly been forced open previously and didn't fully close. Pool was inheated and unusable in April.
clean quiet room bed too soft, and too high off ground
The evening attendant arranged to have a cab waiting at a specified time. Just as promised the morning attendant reminded me of the arrival time for the cab. a few minutes early - ghe cab appeared. Very satisfactory for my late arrival and early departure.
