Nothing within walking distance. Right next to freeway. Smoke slarm light flasged all night. Pillows lousy.

Lots of noise from the riffraff that stays here.

Close enough to Great America theme park.

Lousy free breakfast (it was literally just toast and cereal), had to kill a roach in bathroom suggesting it might have a bug problem. For the price we got though it wasn't to bad.

Location off of highway, very easy to find.

Located in somewhat of a bad area of town. Random homeless/ drug users wandering around property at late hours of the night. Flet unsafe to leave room at night. Room had patches in the ceiling. Bathroom corners and corners of room were dirty with built up. Furniture was dirty and broken/ missing pieces. Overall a hotel worth half the price I paid to stay there, book with a well known chain hotel.

Breakfast was good and the desk staff was friendly.

The toilet flush handle was broken. The toilet squealed when it was flushed. The rooms aren't carpeted.

Everything...never can complain..excellent every time we visit

i didn't like nothing about this hotel

The mattress is horrible I was awake up with a lot of pain in my did showerhead is very low it's only four people less than 4 feet

My wife and I thought breakfast was included and thought that $9.95 each for coffee and a roll was excessive. This rip off left a bad taste in our mouth toward the DoubleTree.

The hotel is conveniently located for car access to Santana Row and the Valley Fair Shopping Mall and has onsite parking facilities. The room was nice and comfortable but nothing fancy. We stayed there as we wanted to be close to the shopping areas.

For an extended stay hotel, I didn't expect to have to pay for a dish package, etc

New, clean, nicely appointed and decorated rooms, nice neighborhood, tree lined streets, close to market, gas, fast food, BUT....read on...

Kitchen supplies not delivered to room as promised,had to be picked up at the reception desk--heavy and awkward to carry. coffee maker had MOLDY COFFEE and FILTER in the basket. Staff barely civil. Pungent cooking odors permeate halls. Drains clogged.

Room wasn't ready when we arrived maid was sitting in room watching tv smoking a cigarette

fairly reasonable price. jacuzzi worked, although had to ask 2 staff members to turn on the heat-the first one didn't apparently know how.

the pool was not heated, they didn't replace tissues, washcloths, coffee or condiments. there were no blankets. the breakfast food consisted of white bread, 3 cold cereals, orange flavored drink. they ran out of white bread and coffee! most of the staff didn't speak english.

No ice machine... the bed was small (one full size bed). We stayed two nights and know one came to make our bed the second night. P

The staff were very helpful. A bit of a mixup with hotels.com and they were super accommodating. Room was big, clean, had a big jacuzzi tub which I didn't even notice until it was time to leave. Would recommend.

Great grounds and plenty of character; a relaxing venue with history and luxury.

The staff was very helpful when it was found out that the website I had booked through hadn't communicated with the hotel fully and they had to go digging for my reservation. But I got a room, it was very nice, even if a bit cramped, but that didn't detract from my stay. The grounds were very nice. I enjoyed their exercise room, it was more filled out than most hotels. I just wish I had had warmer weather to enjoy the pool and more time to enjoy every other feature of Hayes Mansion.

The hotel does exhibit some age, but is well kept, located near family we are visiting, clean, staffing always very accommodating, parking is covered. The daily breakfast is excellent, represents a great value, eliminating the need to go off site.

The first bed we had was hard. They did upgrade us to a better room and bed. The TV in both rooms did not work properly. Because of the low number of guests, the 'Breakfast' was skimpy and the coffee was poor.

Breakfast facility was dirty and breakfast was limited, not much to choose from.

Generally the rooms are very clean one of the main reasons I love to stay here .

Upon checking in we opened one of our drawers in the room and there was a open condom wrapper and condom box from previous guest. I advised housekeeping when she went to clean the room said she would take care of it. However when we came back after she cleaned it the condom wrapper and box were still there. Had to let housekeeping know again to get problem taken care of. I have stayed here more then 4 times and the experience is always very pleasent and rooms very clean. This time was a little disappointing.

I like the fact that it is walking distance from the convention center.

Helpful and friendly staff who keep up with the demands and requests of the guest. Also, a very quiet and clean space that allowed us to get our rest.

The room.had a mini-fridge and a microwave

The bed didn't have many blankets jest two sheets, the Jacuzzi tub's drain wouldn't close, the pillows were absolutely terrible, the bed was very run down, there was a constant ticking noise from the fridge, and the staff tried hitting on me but I tried to make the best of it since I paid.

Clean rooms with feel of knowing they are clean

Fancy, various locations to eat and enjoy yourself with partner and great America in a 13 min drive distance just a great stay after all and great valet service

Beware of an extra 100$ charge at check in just in case you break anything in the hotel but will be refunded after check out and line is to long with no one trying to help them out to make the line go faster

We always booked with best western but this one need to upgrade the bed mattress. We have back problems because of it

Pillows were hard, get softer pillows

We had stayed here a year ago because the location was perfect for us. It was undergoing renovations at the time. They are done now and the place looks really nice. The complimentary breakfast is great.

It seems as though the finishing touches of the renovation are not done. Our room could have used a dresser or at least some more drawer space. They should have replaced the mattresses.

Had a microwave and refrigerator. Close to shops and many food choices.

The bed was hard and uncomfortable and the sheets were worn. I was very surprised at this with this being a Hilton hotel...

Sehr Schönes Hotel in guter Lage.

The hotel was in a bad area, surrounded by liquor stores and graffiti. A window in our room was broken. There were several burn holes in the carpet.

The hotel has great and excellent staff. Probably one of the best and accommodating I've been to. Front desk was superb.

The area it was in was a bit sketchy, but it was more of the looks rather than the actual area. Stayed there for 3 nights, and came back feeling great each time.

The room was clean and tidy. Very simple, no art or decor to speak of. The lobby looked new and modern. Staff was very professional and nice.

The HHonors floor was still in carpet from the 90's. Very old and out-dated. The room was very dated as well. My daughter who is 5'4" could press on the ceiling tiles, they were so low and old.

Love that every room has their own balcony for fresh air. Great ammenities down stairs and friendly staff! I always enjoy the excellent customer service here. The location of the hotel is convienent, close to restaurants, shopping, and airport.

Going in and out of the parking lot became an issue. At the Doubletree guests have the option of valet or self park (you are charged a nightly fee per night). We chose to self park, upon entering and exiting guests must use a parking ticket to do so, the parking meter ended up not working so we'd be stuck for 15-20 minutes along with everyone else trying to get out. They should use room keys for this versus paper tickets that eventually get bent out of shape.

Location

I had to wait from 1pm until 4:30pm in the lobby for my room to be ready. About 7 other people arrived around 3 and also had to wait/sleep in the lobby until rooms were available. Also I travel for business so I need a receipt to turn in. It's been 9 days, several emails later and still no receipt. Good price for the location but not worth the hassle.

The rooms are large and clean. TV and sitting area nice.

Hotel is under construction and it was everywhere. Boxes in the hallways the dirt and supplies took up the handicapped spots. The breakfast was horrible. No ice machines. For what I paid it would have be appreciated to be told first before I got there. They are friendly but not willing to go out of there way for anything. Probably will not return here.

Nothing

This was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. The hotel is unresponsive, the rooms are filthy, and nothing works in the rooms.
