You can walk to the Rijksmuseum in 15 minutes.
Wonderful neighborhood, less tourists, more locals, the rooms are bright and inspiring and the owners are very kind. Stayed at 3 B&B's in town and this was the only one that was proactive in helping folks from out of town find their way around Amsterdam.
Bathroom shared and a wee bit small.
spacious room on nice quiet street, and near to park, bars and restaurants
Could have been a little cleaner, fridge still had food in it!
Such a fantastic place with a warm and welcoming feeling to it! We stayed for two nights in this wonderful and beautifully designed and decorated small B&B. We got the Yellow room, which has an african theme, a balcony and a view to the Japanese garden. During our stay we were basically alone in this town house, with living room, kitchen, terrace and a beautiful garden that is shared with the owners, who gladly shared tips in the area of good restaurants and shopping outside of the touristic area. The Pijp area is beautiful and quiet, with alot of nice bars & restaurants and with walking distance to the centre (or you can take the tram, which stops very close to the B&B). We genuinely loved this place and look forward to coming back soon!
Since it is a town house made into a B&B, please note that there is only one (small) bathroom shared between the three rooms.
couldn't ask for better. the room was perfect for us. will definitely come back next time.
Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with a huge, comfy bed. There is a beautiful and peaceful outdoor space and a relaxing communal lounge area, which unfortunately we had no time to use! Located in an interesting area of Amsterdam, close to trams, parks and cafes.
Make sure you carefully read your confirmation email to check the hotel's policy on check-in times, as they are quite specific. There was some confusion about our check-in time, although the hotel owner had generously hung around to let us in when we arrived later in the evening. Our (shared) bathroom was very small, but sufficient. Although there is tea and coffee making equipment in the kitchen, there didn't seem to be supplies of tea, coffee, milk or sugar as such... so bring your own!
