I think the breakfast was overpriced and the staff was VERY slow ......seemed to have no organization in terms of who was waiting for their coffee or drinks. We waited sometimes 15 minutes to get our espressos and coffee. For a 5 star hotel.......not good. The Concierge service was excellent!! Cannot say enough about Etan and Annie.......fabulous!!
see above re breakfast...... also.......no tub in the bathroom.......and nowhere to put things 1 drawer for the two of us and we stayed 6 days.....
Everything was lovely. Breakfast (included with room) was delicious.
Wonderful opportunity to showcase a truly beautiful architecture but they are simply just not getting the small things right... These make all the big differences in classing as a leading hotel. The lack of finer touches and attention to detail, particularly in terms of service in housekeeping leave this hotel somewhat soulless. Compares to its sister hotel in London, this hotel does not make the cut... Wasted opportunity as could be an amazing package
Location is excellent
We had fire alarm early in morning while everybody were sleeping. It was remarkable exercise: you wake up because of terrible alarm, panic, your thoughts about children, then documents, then you start wearing clothes... and at the reception you got information it was false alarm :( Second surprise happened at the checkout: our bill was 30% more that it was in booking confirmation. Hotel tried to convince us that everything is fine, but we asked to contact booking.com. Finally we were charged in according to the reservation.
There are so many different sights to see in Amsterdam. This city is the center of Dutch culture and it’s known as the Venice of Northern Europe because it has canals just like the fabled Italian city. That said, when staying in Amsterdam, there are a lot of expectations travelers have. Many of those expectations involve incredible hospitality and service from hotels. Getting a hotel in the center of the city that provides great amenities and service isn’t easy to find, unless you have found the Conservatorium Hotel.
The Conservatorium Hotel is located right in the heart of Amsterdam. You can step outside and history is right there – the hotel even is in a historic building. With the Van Gogh museum just a few steps away, there is much to do in this area. You don’t have to worry about getting from the airport to the hotel either. The airport shuttle service ensures that you get from the airport to the hotel with minimal stress and that upon flying out you don’t have to worry about being late for the plane.
The hotel, known as “Amsterdam’s Living Room”, offers many services including a full-service spa. You can get pampered and then head over to the pool to relax. There is complimentary WiFi, an onsite restaurant, and comfortable, spacious rooms throughout the hotel.
The Conservatorium Hotel is one of Amsterdam’s great treasures. Book a room at this hotel if you are ready to have an absolutely fantastic experience in one of the world’s most interesting cities.
