What can I expect from the hotel's location?
The hotel is located in a nice quiet and quite residential area of Amsterdam but in very easy walking distance of the Van Gogh museum, a nice park close by and also friendly bars, cafes and restaurants and good location for tram stations to get back to the centre.
What are the common concerns about the rooms?
The rooms, beds and bathrooms in the attic section are terribly small, one can become really claustrophobic. Essential furniture was missing due to insufficient place. There was no place to hang my coat, except inside the bathroom, near the shower. The desk, shown on the picture, was not in the room. With the help of the staff and paying the difference in price, from the second day I managed to move to a larger (but still small) room, dubbed double. Its bathroom had no mirror over the sink, which was so minuscule, that washing teeth came with the head hitting the wall leaning inwards above the sink. There is no elevator or help from the staff, even if one arrives with a heavy luggage and has to climb to the third floor.
What are the highlights of the hotel's amenities?
The service and friendliness of the staff. Plus the hot chocolate 24 hours.
What are the best times to visit the hotel?
The Hotel is very close to the city center, walking access to everywhere or close to TRAM stops. The rooms was small but I guess that is expected in Amsterdam. The bed was very comfortable, good pillows and bathroom clean with towels. Breakfast was perfect (bread, croissant, eggs, cheese, ham, tomatoes and sweets, coffee, tea, and orange juice).
What practical information should I know about the hotel's location?
location it is verry close to blu boat chanel tour, have discount cards almost all category and is verry quiet pleasent plase respect
