The surprise welcome drink and nibbles, the beautiful view from the restaurant, the lovely private beach, really good breakfast and evening food. The general architecture - we liked the brickwork and how it blended in with the surrounding countryside.
The Rod Stewart CD which was played every morning at breakfast!

We really enjoyed the holiday. PierPaolo and his wife ,do a great job in managing the hotel. Food was excellent, the choice in the menu every night as a real treat to our pallads. The Maitre d ,Ricardo and all his staff are always attentive and their service is of the highest standards. Like I said , we will definitely return and have already started reccommending the hotel to our friends. It is a must for any couple looking for a nice gay friendly and heterosexual atmosphere. the island of Sardinia was very beautiful and the centre of Baja Sardinia had much to offer.
The only way I can describe the hotel room was a glorified static caravan. The bathroom was outdated, the bed was hard and the couch was like something out of a 70's trailor trash movie, and as for the garden (if you think you can call it that), it was a square of grass that had died about 2 years previously. I am aghast that you believe you can not only call that a Junior Suite but also charge that kind of money! Having just arrived from the Amalifi Coast where my hotel room cost the same, yet was 100% up to date, had a massive terrace, a bathroom the size of the entire room at Grand Relais and a view directly to Capri I was severly disappointed and it was a horrible end to what had previously been the perfect honeymoon.

the view, resteraunt and cleanliness were excellent
situated just out of town, (slightly isolated), apart from the lovely pool there were no facilities!
