Proximity was very good as I like this area of city. Wish they had heated pool.
Very helpful and friendly staff, they were attentive to all our needs and requests. Excellent view of the Acropolis and overall Athens. The restaurant-bar at the top floor is also a wonderful place for dinner or a drink. The boutique room (suite) is very overpriced. Small for its price, and without any distinctive features, apart from the balcony with the beautiful view.
Small , dirty room. Not a 5 star
Most of the staff was helpful and friendly with only a couple exceptions. Located in a safer/nice side of town that is much more quiet. Atm and money exchange available. Nice pool area and great pool staff but not enough sun chairs/space. The spa wasn't open for all of my four day stay except for one day. The one day they were open they only had massage capabilities available (ie no facials or nail treatments etc) so I went ahead and booked a massage with the only therapist available. I found the male massage therapist to be a bit unprofessional and the massage was oddly touchy. For example it seemed like he was trying to rub his body on the sides of mine while giving my massage. The breakfast buffet is 22 euros and a lot of the food was cold including meat and eggs which is dangerous! All food at this hotel is pretty over priced. No hot tub as advertised? Dirty/moldy between bathroom tiles. If they call a taxi for you the ride is 3 euros more expensive
The hotel was tired. The room and bathroom were not clean. This is not a five star hotel as described by travel sites. The power in the hotel failed in the middle of the night & we had no AC, emergency lighting came on, which is what we woke to at 3am. The house phone was ignored when I attempted to call the front desk to clarify the situation. I called from my mobile & was told 'this happens all the time'. An appalling 'hotel'.
great deco, lovely bar and the resturant food was excellent the sound proofing in the room was very poor and you can hear people's conversation from the corridors.
Nice view from bar / restaurant Very disappointed. No way is this a 5 star hotel. Spa, Sauna, swimming pool etc. close on Marathon weekend. Couldn't care less attitude from staff.
Due to extensive flight delays we missed the first night of our reservation at St. George and did not arrive in Athens until 6AM. However, we forgot all about our troubles almost immediately after checking into this superb hotel. 1. Without even telling us they upgraded our room to the front side of the hotel which had absolutely incredible views of the Acropolis from our balcony. While it wasn't a large room (they never are in Europe!), it was clean, the bed was great, and the bathroom was perfectly OK. 2. Despite our exhaustion, we dragged ourselves out of bed just in time to catch breakfast. Went up to the 6th floor and was blown away by the 360 views of Athens. We asked if we could just grab a plate of food from the buffet (delicious selection) and take it back down to our room. Not only did they say yes, but they had someone carry our food down to the room ON A SILVER PLATTER. No jokes. Also, without even asking for it they sent with a hot carafe of coffee with STEAMED MILK. 3. On the last leg of our trip, coming back from an island, we had 12 hours to kill in Athens before heading to the airport. Despite no longer being guests for over 7 days they graciously stored our bags and let us hang out at the roof pool until we had to leave. WHAT. 4. Oh, and the pool is like a dream. Gorgeous pool with gorgeous Athens view with lounge chairs and great music. Happy hour is from 7-9 offering 6 euro cocktails. The neighborhood this hotel is in is really great and completely safe as it is where all the embassies are located. Since it's on a hill be prepared to climb! It is worth it as there are very charming buildings, great cafes, shops, and restaurants. You can be in Kolonaki (walking) in 15-20 minutes. There is a metro stop 7 blocks away that goes directly to the airport. WHY WOULD YOU STAY ANYWHERE ELSE? I know I won't be.... Thank you St. George! You made our trip.
The location The rooms are very small and this was uncomfortable
Situation and nothing else Very small pool, non-smoking rooms just smoking rooms with apple scent sprayed, tired decoration, lack of porters. Living on its name. Avoid.
The hotel is great, very modern and rooms have a lot of space. The bathroom has a jacuzzi and a shower with many shower options. The bed is very large and confortable. The restaurant on the roof is so wonderful and has a very nice view. Staff has been very kind to us, helping with our luggage that didnt arrive. The relation cost/benefit is perfect.
It was cool, clean and quiet with a good view. It was hard to find.Parking was a little inconvenient but not too bad.
I was impressed with the staff. They were very kind and helpful. If I go to Athens again, I will certainly stay there.
We felt at home from the moment we arrived. The staffs at the hotel were very helpful and friendly. The location is excellent. Even the Acropolis is walking distance. The Metro is only 3 min walk. Shops, concert hall, restaurants are all within a few minutes walk. The security that no stranger can enter the hotel or room is absolutely guaranteed for 24 hours. The suite was large with separate kitchen, quiet enough for a nap any time of day on a very comfortable bed! Beautiful balconies which we could take breakfast every morning. We really enjoyed our 4 nights stay, would like to come back again!
The apartment was in a great location and fantastic value. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We had a great stay. The only amenity missing from the apartment was a washing machine or access to a laundry room, everything else was great.
24 hour reception was convenient for early morning departure. All furnishings were old, some devices were broken.
Rooms are enough spacious. The staff is very friendly. The facilities are pretty old. It doesn't make us feel comfortable.
The lady receptionist is very helpful and so are the other man. She makes our stay more comfortable. Location is good
Close to big hotel where I attended a meeting. Safe neighborhood. Good value -- 2 rooms and kitchenette for 1/3 the price of the big hotel. 5 minute easy walk from metro. It is like borrowing a friend's 1970's-style apartment, although clean. Don't expect too much, but a good option in the low-priced range.
Management and cleaning staff were very helpful The apartment was in urgent need of refurbishment and repair. The kitchen was very old and well worn and the bathroom had a number of broken fittings and some of the electrical points weren't working
i am satisfied with the stay public transportation possibilities; the cleaning lady came into my room every day before 08h30 and asked me, when i will leave..:)
Location, friendly personnel, clean rooms. The heating function of A/C (not working).
Front desk staff and rooftop pool bartender were very helpful during the stay and went out of their way to make sure everything ran smoothly, and after a trip to Naxos came back to the hotel and stayed another 4 days. Hotel is on a busy street and some rooms can be noisy.
Good Room Service No Wi-Fi Internet; breakfast not included (although high price); reception lady hardly knew english
Friendly staff, polite and helpful. I was lended a telephone charger by the receptionnist... his own!! For my purpose the location was not the best. Need to be checked when it comes to visiting Athens.
It was a very nice hotel and the staff were very helpful. It was listed on booking.com as being within 2 miles of the Acropolis but was actually very far. a 15 minute walk to the subway and then several stops away. Also no free internet.
Hotel staff care for the customer, cleanliness of the hotel & the rooms, comfort in general, it's really value for money. Not at all.
Friendly service, generous breakfast No
Very helpful and king staff, excellent breakfast, high quality of the room and bathroom. The Internet connection: the connection is not stable and far too expensive in the comparisson with other hotels, which I visited so far.
nice room to much noise from the road
for dinner i had best chicken in my life. exelent cook. well, room was so small, but i understood cuz this is boutique hotel.
Nice comfortable, modern rooms furnished with taste. Internet wifi available in rooms. Beautiful roof terrasse for breakfast I had to change the room because it was not cleaned properly, mostly the bathroom. Elevator could be more clean too.
The staff was friendly, the room was net clean and very comfortable as well. The furniture was modern/new unlike many other hotels. Also the bathroom was very comfortable, very clean and had a taste of good design. The area was very quiet, although Athens has some issues with the immigrants. However, the location of the hotel was fine and i didn't hear any noise during the night despite my window looking at the street. + Flat TV screen, a small fridge, a large mirror and a very comfortable bed. Very satisfactory experience. Maybe a one-use pair of slippers in the bathroom would add some extra points to this fabulous hotel.
Elanor Kalkova, manageress of the bar was wonderful. Friendly, a wonderful cook and a fantatasic host.An emotional farewell at the end of the week. The reception staff were distictly average, only helping when absolutely necessary, Reported faults to the jacuzzi were ignored.
The location and the hotel staff is great. Choose a Jacuzzi room yououou will love it !!
It's very clean and spacious. Not very easy to find.
We enjoyed the spa and comfortable bed.Reception staff were very helpful too.
The jakuzi bath-tab, the minimal design Cleanliness
Most of the stuff was very helpful and polite and the hotel was brand new with very nice colors and furniture. Nice bathroom, big enough bed and a 32' LCD on the wall. The most value for money hotel in Athens! One of the two breakfast stuff was kind of rude. Unfortunately there was not hot water one of the five nights that we stay there
Good location in a non tourist neighbourhood.
