Front desk poorly managed my hotel reservation. They spelled my name incorrectly and dis not send me a confirmation. I called a week before and they could not find me. I booked another hotel but then I remembered I gave a credit card to hold my room at intercontinental. I called again, they were able to find me but my name was spelled incorrectly. I tried to cancel and they said it's too late to cancel. So I stayed 1 night and they had the wrong bed type. They gave me 2 double beds. I asked for a king and a baby crib. Then, my best friend tried to deliver me a birthday gift. When she went to the front desk, the front desk would not take the package because my name was still incorrectly spelled in the system. Horrible experience all together.
Traveled for business and pleasure. This hotel is well located in Buckhead. Great facilities regardless of price, but the price was very affordable. My number 1 choice for Buckhead now.
Wish we could stay longer
staff personnel were very attentive to all of my needs and very personable made me feel like a true guest
My girlfriend and I spent a weekend in the city and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The room was perfect for our needs, it was clean and everything was as we expected. It was convenient to several restaurants and shopping. would definitely consider straying here again.
Parking is probably my biggest issue, it's a little too expensive and wish it could be complimentary to guests.
The Bed was so comfortable!!!
Very nice but small room
Almost everything was perfect except the size of the room for a family of 4. The food arrived to the room not hot but a little cold from room service.
Room size was small for a family of four. Beware if your flight arrives early check-in time is at 3pm!!!
Worst Hotel experience of my Life
This was the worse hotel experience of my life!!! They had overbooked the hotel by a large number of guest and had to make arrangments for us at another hotel. The hotel was not in the location we wanted and they did not call and let us know ahead of time of the change so that we could arrive earlier instead of having to go half way across town to stay. The ast. Manager on duty was not appologetic and did not seem to care. I took it as this was a normal occurance by the way they acted.
Intercontinental Hotels Buckhead Atlanta is an upscale hotel for both vacationers and business travelers, located in the bustling metropolis of Atlanta. The hotel is near all of the major dining, entertainment and business centers in the city and offers guests comfortable and spacious rooms to settle into for the duration of their stay. There are three different types of room in the Buckhead Atlanta, the Classic, Executive, and Suite. The Classic Rooms, also known as the Deluxe Rooms, offer incredible views of either Stone Mountain or Atlanta's famed Peachtree Street, depending on which side of the hotel you are on. These rooms contain a large soaking tub, marble bathroom, high-speed internet and large screen TV. Executive Rooms are similar to the Classic Rooms, except they offer more spacious floor plans. Finally, the suites at Buckhead Atlanta are the largest of the group and have a separate living room area, dining area and even a fireplace for the rare months when the Atlanta gets brisk. The food in Atlanta is superb, and the Buckhead is no exception. Inside, you'll find Southern Art, a gorgeous restaurant that is open for breakfast and dinner. The menu here was designed by famed Southern celebrity chef Art Smith, utilizing local ingredients to make both classic and contemporary plates. If guests are just looking for something special to drink, Buckhead has the Bourbon Bar, a bourbon lover's paradise with over 70 hand-selected varieties to sip on. Drink one neat or try it in one of Bourbon Bar's pre-Prohibition cocktails. Atlanta is an incredibly busy city with people coming from all over for various different events. Many of those events happen right in Buckhead, as it has a grand total of 31,000 square feet worth of event space. The variety of rooms is impressive as well. Guests can book anything for a small conference room for 14 all the way up to a grand ballroom that can accommodate 1,1000 guests.
