A pleasant enough functional hotel. Room nice enough with tea and coffee facilities, which is very unusual in Germany! Chap on the desk very helpful. Breakfast not too bad althiough some items slow to be replenished. Popular with cyclists as this region is very flat and very attractive; difficult to tell apart from parts of the Netherlands. Vist Jever! Too far from the centre of the town and required a taxi to go into the town. Very indifferent surroundings indeed. Functional rather than warm interior. If you can stay in Greetsiel instead!
The staff was very friendly and very helpful, they give you suggestions what to do and what to see. The hotel is halfway between the city center of Norden and the port city of Norddeich. If you take a room on the street front it can be very noisy. Plus the outside night lighting causes an annoying hum that can be heard in the room (fortunately it is shut off around 23.30).
Room, breakfast and staff all very good for what is basically a budget hotel. Lack of carpeting in the room?
Clean, modern, secure, well placed for my needs (Norddeich Airport), good breakfast, tea & coffee facilities in room, pleasant and helpful staff, quiet, free wi-fi. Spa facilities. Excellent restaurant (Moewchen) across the road. English was limited but this is a very nice German hotel - all the better though if you speak the language, which one of us did. Parking a bit of a squash if busy, but staff were helpful and we all managed.
Good value for the price, nice atmosphere and freindly staff.
The hotel was ok. The staff was really helpful and responded to all my requests. The kitchen was good (as everywhere else in Germany, probably). No free WiFi. There is a hotspot for 8eur per hour and it looses connection from time to time. Plus, there is an Internet kiosk near the reception.TV Could be bigger and lcd, not crt. Although all these are minor things. In general the hotel is ok.
Nice atmosphere - pleasent staff The room was perhaps not "100% cosy" - but absolutely all right.
We enjoyed the courteous nature of the staff, very friendly environment, easy access to the town centre. All our questions were answered - it was a very enjoyable stay and we'd recommend the hotel to people considering a stay in Emden
Great location. Free parking. Good breakfast. There was no fruit basket and newspaper in the room. No internet in the rooms. Smell in the bathroom.
Well we were travelling with two kids and had a wonderful time at the hotel . iT is run by a very friendly young couple who always greeted us with cheer . they were very helpful in everything right from the bike rentals to sitting and planning our itinerary. I would recommend this hotel for stay as it offered a nice breakfast and also took care of all the things the guests would need.Everyday it was nice to see the towels dressed up in diff shapes like a dog or an elephant n my kids loved it . overall I must say great stay . . none
Breakfast was superb, male receptionist very kind, beautiful bedroom, very nice atmosphere We thought it was to expensive, relatively.
The staff at Hotel Reichshof are extraoridinary. The facilities are immaculate and the hotel itself is beautiful.
The room was very clean and had recently been refurbished. Breakfast was included in the price making it a good value.
Signposting to the hotel by road is not very obvious (especially as the hotel is situated in a pedestrian precinct area)
Nice house and rooms, near centrum, parking place at the backyard, kind staff. Room was >little< bit cold, maybe the heating was still in summer position :)
Size of the bathroom and good breakfast.
This hotel was very comfortable and not far to walk to the canal park area and the harbour. Breakfast was varied and delicious. No fuss or bother at all. The room was spacious and comfortable.
It was easy to find and was close to the city center, within walking distance. Breakfest was abundant with plenty european selection, with a Greek restaurant on the main floor for evening dinning. Hotel owner and staff were friendly and very helpful. No lift (elevator), but that is common in Germany.
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.
Personable, laid back and informative staff. No frills, but no hassles as well. Within walking distance to the port (15 minutes) and Am Wall ring (5 minutes). For the value, it was far more than I expected actually.
We were left to do our own thing, never seen a member of staff for the whole stay? Spoke to someone over a speaker phone Hotel was clean and comfortable and the Greek restuarant next door was very nice Friendly staff and good value meals Hotel not far from Emden town only 4 euros in a taxi Probably would stay there again
Hotel building has class. Friendly staff and very clean rooms. Breakfast was also very good and included The restaurant Delphi in the Hotel building should at least have one vegetarian dish.
The rooms perhaps need modernising. Ours felt overcrowded with too much old furniture.
great place to spend the night! clean and a good breakfast! Not bad sized too!
The food was very good and the service good Wireless internet connection was not free and I could not connect from my room
Very good food. Excellent location. None
Friendly staff, tasty food and overall value for money. Potentially a good base from which to tour the area
Very nice and classy rooms. Great value for money.
Rooms are comfortable and typical of a German-owned hotel. I arrived late and left early, so cannot comment on many of the services. Breakfast was better than average German cold breakfast buffet. No lift and some rooms are quite a distance from the reception. My room was the furthest away from reception, which meant going up and down 3 flights of stairs to get to it. Not convenient if you have a lot of luggage or if you are older and have trouble with stairs.
