Your questions about flights to Bremen, answered

Find helpful route details based on KAYAK data, including flight times, airports, airlines and booking questions.

  • Which hotels in Bremen Airport can I access?

When looking to enjoy a meal or nap at a hotel in the airport, there are three airport premises that you can visit. The Holiday Inn Express hotel is within 200m distance from the airport. You can also go to Atlantic Hotel opposite terminal 3’s Departures Hall. TRYP by Wyndham Bremen Airport Hotel is also a good option to consider when choosing a hotel to visit at the airport. The hotels are a walking distance from the airport terminals; therefore, no shuttles offer transit to the hotels.

  • Does Bremen Airport have lounges?

Yes. When visiting Bremen, regardless of the class of service you fly, there are lounges that you can access. You can go to the Bremen Airport Lounge airside of terminal 3, close to gates A1 to A5, and the Primeclass Lounge, also airside of terminal 1 in the departures area. These lounges are accessible by paying at the door or using a lounge membership program. If you fly First or Business class, there is an airline lounge, the Lufthansa Business Lounge, in terminal 3 behind the security control you can access after your journey.

  • Does Bremen Airport offer luggage services to travelers?

If you are traveling with heavy baggage to Bremen, you can get the luggage trolleys valid for transit to and from different airport areas once you land. To get the free trolleys, go to the terminal and to all car park levels, where you’ll get the trolleys. If you are traveling to Bremen on a round trip or stopping at BRE for a layover, you can get the luggage wrapping services at the left luggage office in Terminal 1 to safeguard your bags during transit.

  • What transportation options do I have from Bremen Airport to the city center?

BRE is served by Tram line 6 and local bus line 52. The bus system, departing every 30min operates between the Kattenturm and Huchting through the airport. The tram line, however, leaves every 10min and runs between the airport, the city center, and the railway station. Taxis are a convenient alternative to BRE. The taxis are outside the airport’s arrivals area. You can also rent a vehicle from the agencies on-site.

  • What is the difference between the most popular and the most frequent airline at Bremen?

Delta operates the most flights from the United States to Bremen at 0 per week, while Lufthansa is the airline most often selected by KAYAK users searching for flights from the United States to Bremen. The two are often different because flight volume reflects an airline's schedule, while popularity reflects traveler choice.

  • Where can I fly from to get the cheapest fares to Bremen?

Based on fares booked in the past 5 days, the cheapest flights to Bremen are from:
    • New York, from $733 round-trip

  • How do I know if a flight to Bremen is a good deal?

I think I previously submitted my feedback about flight lead Katherine in a different field by mistake. Please see those comments. Comments for Hyd to AMS are it was good. The flight lead and service met expectations for satisfactory high quality service but the flight lead did not stand out as exceptional as did the leads on the other two flights so I don’t remember anything specific one way or the other besides the fact I was satisfied.

Had to cancel and rebook, KLM connection was cancelled prior to departure, ended up flying to Munich on non-Delta carrier.

The crew were unprofessional with a racist element. I was physically abused as well from one of the crew members

They forgot to serve food and the crew was very unfriendly. Never experienced such a bad KLM flight. Usually fly from Toronto. New York was different.

Over 1 Hr delay. No APU so no AC on ground. Plane was hot during boarding and then they closed the doors over 20 minutes before engine start so interior of plane was steamy hot and stuffy. Could have been helped by opening doors until ready to depart.

My flight was delayed by 6 hours then I missed BOTH of my connecting flights, I then had to stay in the AIRPORT at JFK because soooooo many people also suffered from missing flights and there was no hotels available. I would like to be compensated for this experience! I had to stay in the airport for over 16 hours!

Cabin crew were excellent, very proffesional, polite and friendly, in flight snack was underwhelming, a packet of cheese biscuits, im sure KLM could run to a sandwich!

Overall very positive. Boarding was quick and organized. Cabin was clean and seats were reasonably comfortable. Cabin crew was excellent and the meals provided were also of good quality

This fight left ahead of time which meant it arrived early which was great. Staff were very professional, but as with all these Short hop Flights the food was a disappointing snack There was no entertainment on this flight, but I did not expect any

Delay, luggage didn’t arrive. Had to go the next day to collect it

Terrible - the flight was delayed taking off after boarding. Then the flight circled lga before landing. Significant delay

The actual flight was smooth and we arrived earlier than expected which was great. The flight attendants gave unclear instructions and were rude. They seemed overwhelmed or flustered for the flight. Inflight service was delayed and unsure why.

Everything went smooth from check in, thru TSA, then boarding, and a smooth flight to ATL.

There were weather issues in the area apparently; however, that was not obvious from what we saw outside of LaGuardia. We were delayed leaving (which I understand); however, once we were on the plane we didn't leave for a long time. It may have been two hours?? - all I know is that we sat there for a long time with no information as to why we were not taking off. Finally, after 45 minutes to an hour (maybe?), the pilot gave us an update that no planes were able to go in the our flight path direction (or something like that) due to weather. There was nothing additional added. What does this mean? Why is this? What are the options? When will you give us another update? There were no updates for maybe another 30-45 minutes. There was no explanation as to why we couldn't be rerouted to avoid the weather. We had no information at all. We just sat on the plane (for about 2 hours) with very limited information. All I would have wanted is an explanation as to what was going on. Tell me there is bad weather coming our way. Tell me they are working to reroute us around it (which is what they did). Tell me SOMETHING.

My 4pm flight did not leave until about 10pm. I did not enjoy this experience.

I had an extensive delay on my previous flight and we had another delay due to the crew not being there. We were scheduled to have a late arrival but due to the delay it was even longer.

Had one of the worst travel experiences I've ever had. 1.5-hour delay turned into being held on the tarmac and our pilots timing out. Was supposed to take off at 4pm and didn't take off until 10:30pm.

Delayed 7 hours Crew and employees were nice Extra long flight but at least we got in

The flight was delayed at the very last minute and no information, both of my round trip flights were delayed at least the BNA to Boston was informed earlier but the return one was horrible

Still room for improvement in food and beverage selection: bring back Cognac

With discover in general was very good but from Munich yo Palermo was poor

Staff and flight attendants were very polite. Flight was smooth. My seat on the plane was a bit broken so it would not stay in upright position but it was fine for the most part.

Agents at gate were not immediately available to solve problems and once they did they didn’t fix all the fight connections

We used Kayak to reserve our tickets and specifically checked the luggage option which was a more expensive option. When we arrived at the terminal we had to pay an extra $90 per suitcase for the three passengers. This has been a pattern for the past 3 years. Why charge for a more expensive luggage option, and the ticket price not include luggage?

Flight cancelled instead of leaving Friday am now, maybe, leaving Sunday

one of the flight attendants on the Dallas to frankfurt leg was somewhat rude..

United has maintenance issues and can then never recover. No operations ability and simple issues always turn into multiple hours long cascading delays. Worst airline on earth.

Check in was chaotic with only one counter for business class and first class. The luggage conveyor belt at JFK airport was broken so the flight departure was delayed which made the flight stressful as I had a tight connection. Although the captain said they could make up the delay, they didn’t do so.

Our flight was canceled same day and we were never informed. Had to pay more and worse seating on another airline.

Excellent! I got to Munich and was transferred to my Lufthansa flight quickly, in 15 to 20 minutes, so I did not miss my flight. However, I had checked my overhead bag at the boarding gate in Tampa. That got to Tunis the next day. That is to be expected.

It is ridiculous that Lufthansa weighs your carry-on bags. It's also ridiculous how strict they are about the 50 pound rule when you're flying overseas for nearly 3 weeks. The reality is, that if you book a business or first class ticket you get a $70 luggage allowance. It's bullshit that it's not about safety. It's not about regulation. It's about money. And that pisses me off. Furthermore, under price, which I assume was the travel consolidator for my ticket sold me some bullshit ticket that did not include to check luggage. What a bunch of nonsense. That's a scam. There shouldn't even be a ticket offered to Europe without checked luggage. I don't know how most people are, but now I'm gonna be very skeptical about using KAYAK again and flying Lufthansa. I think maybe it's best I just booked with the airline directly.

The crew could deploy more customer focus and not frown when asked a question. I’m speaking of one lady in particular who raised a hand in my face for me to wait whe I tried to ask a question and never came back to me. Very unprofessional and rude.

They set someone on our assigned seats and we ended up finding seats for ourselves to ensure the family sits together.

Very efficient and excellent service. Nice amenities and beautiful plane. Elevated meals. Boarding could have been more organized. We missed our connecting flight due to EU entry but Lufthansa was extremely quick to rebook us.

Aircraft had fairly roomy seats on economy. Food was good (beef dinner).

Broken seat did not recline fully, broken footrest, no air vents, no electricity for charging devices, outlets for headphones or isb did not work. Rude crew. Horrible experience. Would never fly Lufthansa again

The Discover flight from TPA to FRA was exceptionally unprofessional and incompetent in organization. First the entertainment system was completely nonfunctional for the entire plane and no competent IT support to fix. Than they could not serve any coffee or tea because they ran out of water - reflecting the exceptionally incompetent management at Discovery and most embarrassing for Lufthansa and a German airline, more like a third world country. The food was mediocre at best and minimalistic for Discover, particularly with the much higher standards at Lufthansa.

Lufthansa's Miami International counter folks are very strict on carry-on weight. Can't be greater than 8 kg otherwise they force you to check it for a fee. Bags came out at baggage claim as soon as we arrived to that location (it is a far walk from arrival gate to bag pickup). We do travel with Lufthansa domestically and enjoy every trip.

It started well but flight was cancelled and they created a nightmare rebooking. It is two days later and we still haven’t reached our destination. I am in Amsterdam waiting on transfer desk to open (later than other airlines) to hopefully get a boarding pass. Once that problem is solved we will just pray this flight isn’t cancelled too.

The flight was cancelled, so why are you asking me how the flight was?
