Péniche Daphné is located on the banks of the Oise River in Auvers-sur-Oise, the impressionist city where Vincent Van Gogh used to live. Free WiFi access is available. This boat includes a double room and a private bathroom with shower. Breakfast can be enjoyed on the terrace. Paris - Charles de Gaulle Airport is 27 km away.
Pros: Location and staying on a boat. Use of kitchen . Peaceful
Cons: Bed was rather small.
Pros: The setting on the river is tranquil and beautiful. An easy walk to the sites around town. The barge was immaculate, the room larger than some in Paris. Quality towels and bed linens. We had a picnic dinner on deck and enjoyed watching the ducks and rowers. Christine's breakfast was amazing, and it was sweet to have a visit with her and learn more about the boat. A delight!
Pros: Peniche Daphne is in the perfect location within walking distance of the beautiful Auvers-sur- Oise. Christine is an excellent and hospitable host.
Pros: Nice host, great location, good concept, ice breakfast, clean rooms
Cons: unfortunately the twin room has superimposed beds and it’s not clear when we reserved
Pros: Unusual experience sleeping on a barge. Romantic and fun. Perfect French breakfast. Wonderful host. Thank you for such an amazing time. Added bonus was the beautiful town of Auvers-sur-Oise, and the links to Vincent Van Gough.
Cons: We should have stayed longer - but time didn't allow. Also, it was above our usual budget, but well worth it.
Pros: The owner was really lovely, could not have been more helpful and friendly. The breakfast was fabulous. The setting was idyllic!
Pros: There are limited options re lodging in Auvers sur oise. This well maintained houseboat a ten minute walk from the town was the best option by far. Clean; good breakfast. Host was extremely accommodating re arrival and departure times. We visited to step back into time with Van Gogh. This stay added to that experience.
Situated in Auvers-sur-Oise and with Auberge Ravoux reachable within 3.1 km, Le Panoramique features a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and barbecue facilities. At the guest house, each room is fitted with a wardrobe. At Maison Auvers-Oise the rooms have a desk, a TV and a private bathroom. The accommodation offers a sun terrace. The nearest airport is Paris - Charles de Gaulle Airport, 40 km from Le Panoramique.
Cons: Although this property was pleasant it was difficult to find as it was up a single track road which had a 'NO ENTRY' sign on both roads leading up to it. There was no parking other than the narrow road outside the property. Approach from the main road would have necessitated climbing some 40-50 steps with our luggage. The impression from your description of the property made it appear as one of several houses on a large estate, not one single private building with two rooms. The owner, although very pleasant, had a very little knowledge of English which meant we were not told what other facilities, as mentioned in your description (such as the bbq and patio), we could have used.
Cons: Very hard to find. Google maps took us to the wrong place. The owner wasn’t able to explain how to get there in English and my French is pretty bad. When we FINALLY found it, we couldn’t identify it because the picture on booking.com is NOT the hotel. When we showed it to the owner, he said ‘I’ve never seen that picture.’ I recommend that detailed written directions be sent to customers as soon as a booking is made.
Pros: A good, comfortable room, everything possibly needed was there. Friendly, helpful owner. Good Italian restaurant on walking distance.
Pros: The owner had though of everything, there was everything we need and it was supper comfy, clean and with good view on the forest. The place is close to the train station and it was really peacefully.

Pros: the pleasure of being in a great nature and green environement at the door of paris
Cons: nothing wrong ... just the old fashioned style of a very old farm persannaly I like it

Magnificent 4-star hotel has been completely revamped by the talented architect Marc Hertrich. Even within the castle, 17 seminar rooms are available. A few paces of the hotel and its 70 superior rooms and suites with a warm atmosphere are at the forefront of technology. With a stay at La Villa de L'Ecluse in L'Isle-Adam, you'll be 15.2 mi (24.5 km) from Cergy Pontoise University and 4.9 mi (7.9 km) from Castle of Auvers. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The ambiance and town.
Pros: This place has a lot going for it: located close to the Oise, with a terrace overlooking the river, good rooms, pretty decent cuisine, friendly staff, nice atmosphere all over.
Cons: The lobby/bar area, while not bad, could be better. In its current state it's not comfortable enough, especially because the hotel promotes itself as a place to lounge. The restaurant is good, sometimes even awesome, but uneven (i.e. not all dishes are equally good, although the chef is definitely talented), and service is slow at times. The bigger rooms are not cheap.
Pros: Breakfast was good.
Cons: Not enough hangers
Pros: Every thing
Pros: Beautiful location facing the locks
Pros: The staff were excellent, especially Roxanne who was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and very clean, the bed was very comfortable. The whole hotel was very clean indeed. Security was good. Extra pillows were supplied as requested in advance.
Cons: There was only one bath towel between two guests on the first night but there were two on the second night. Only two teabags were supplied in the room each night and there was no milk at all. Breakfast was a little disappointing and not good value, we were left to our own devices and not communicated with at all, not offered coffee or tea. We served ourselves. I would have expected scrambled eggs to be available.
Pros: Interesting immediate location for family. Good train access to Paris
Cons: A ‘bit’ pricey
Pros: Staff very friendly and just overall a lovely hotel. 12.00 check out time really helped as well.
Pros: Lovely quiet location.
Cons: The room and bed was small, but very comfortable
Pros: Quality of rooms was excellent, parking good and easy walking distance into town.
Cons: Staff, although pleasant were not of the standard expected of a four star hotel. To stand in a group on the outside steps smoking and making phone calls not impressive in front of guests. The quality of the breakfast was the worst of any of the five other hotels we used on this trip and the most expensive. Nothing was replenished and vacated tables were not cleared. No-one in attendance. Flies were inside the warm food container when opened. Lack of soundproofing between the rooms so any doors being opened and taps run etc could be clearly heard as well as noise from bar in ground floor rooms. A massive oversight re the construction of the new part of the building.

Pros: The overhead shower, the towel warmer were a nice surprise. Check in was quicker than expected. The best part was the restaurant at the hotel. A quality meal like that is not typical for a hotel in this price range.
Pros: Good restaurant
Cons: Expensive for what it is but similar for the area.
Pros: The room and the reception, very polite service.
Cons: The buffet we good but I taught that for that price of 14 euros we will have way more choice. I think that it fit the 11 euros of last year because there is no difference.
Pros: Very nice and accommodating staff. Thank you!!
Pros: Staffs were very polite, good size room
Cons: Every thing looks fine
Pros: The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. Dog friendly and good parking.
Cons: No vegetarian options in restaurant
Pros: Excellent dinner and breakfast- friendly and helpful staff
Cons: Location not near to town - not a problem for us, but could be for others

Pros: Good evening meal with friendly service. Breakfast was haphazard, not enough bread for our group!
Cons: Signage and directions were very poor. There was a small hand written sign indicating the direction to the hotel - very easy to miss - which we did!
Pros: If you want to experience French hospitality this is the place to come to. A refreshing change from sterile hotels, The staff are kind and the kitchen offers a great quality of meals. The rooms are fine with great views. If you want to get out of Paris ( 30 minutes by train to Paris ) this is an option.
Cons: Nothing - there is a bit of paint missing here and there, and a bit of maintenance is required, but that is exactly the charm of this hotel.
Pros: I liked the house especially the old parquet, I liked the countryside atmosphere although there is really nothing around.
Cons: Wifi was not working properly and some days was just not working at all. The floor of the room has not been vacuumed at all, killed an insect on the floor and stayed there until I left. Developed strong allergies during my stayed, it took couple of weeks to recover after coming back home. I stayed for 2 weeks and the bed sheets were not replaced at all. Poor English knowledge of the staff. Nobody welcomed me when I reached although it was 11pm, kept on ringing until a client from the upper floor saw me downstairs and from the window gave me the code to open the door. Poor choice of food for dinner.
Pros: Rather cold room in September.
Pros: Great staff, nice dinner in the garden and comfy bed in an old, nicely maintained mansion.
Cons: Can’t think of something
Pros: Breakfirst atmosphere top. Nice place Lot of space nice people
Cons: unfortunately bathroom dirty dusche not working and not acceptable. cold during the night old fashioned style.
Cons: There was a can from the previous guest under the desk.
Pros: Nice location near Pontoise. Good dining in Chateau. 10 mins. Drive to local restaurants. Modern bathrooms nice bedroom Friendly and helpful staff. General location in industrial park. No immediate public transport Plenty of free parking Just 2 public rooms Dining and bar. Modern plumbing. Heating, lights. Pretty setting. Pros: The hotel was extremely accommodating friendly staff very willing to satisfy and spoke English. The bed was very comfortable pillows were great the linens were great as well. The restaurant food was delicious, they do not serve lunch and breakfast is continental. Very clean I would recommend.
Pros: Our room (Colonial) had a great view, food was fantastic, owners anticipated needs of guests.

Pros: The lady on reception was very friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English.
Pros: Every one in the reception was kind and helpful. I'm really happy to go back again in the same hotel
Pros: convenience with travelling to Paris.
Pros: The breakfast, The staff, the spacious bedroom.
Cons: Hot in the room upstairs
Pros: Location and safe place for cars.
Cons: Dishwashing at breakfast is terrible and flies on the cheese and ham unprotected for such food and some degradation of the aisles.
Cons: Room facilities
Pros: Free parking and pool during the heat wave... 42 degrees.
Cons: To hot in the room!
Pros: This hotel is up to the standards of the Accor chain; we were coming from a bad experience with an Ibis in Amsterdam but fortunately, in here it was perfect again. Excellent and very supportive staff. There was a large event going on but we did not feel any impact on the level of services. The check-in and checkout were smooth and quick. There is a lot of space for parking. The hotel is close to the Port and other interesting points and shopping centers, in a very calm and quiet neighborhood. The breakfast was good with several options and well served.
Cons: The gentleman in the bar wasn't very friendly and not willing to attend and explain what was available, etc. Other than that, we were able to have good attention from other staff that was serving in the bar and they did what they could to serve us.
Pros: The brekfast was good, the bed was confortable
Cons: The room was not clean, there were cherry bones in the floor The hair dried does not work
Pros: The location

Pros: Clean, very friendly, good link to Paris on train (about 30 mins), free parking, no height barrier for car, breakfast very good. Good shops nearby. Oh and the host liked cricket and was a gentleman! We will come back again.
Pros: I supose to stay one night but in the end i stayed for 3 nights. Very comfortable and brand new rooms. Perfect.
Pros: Although room was rather small, it was new, clean and nice, as well as bathroom.
Cons: Entry and lobby of Hotel were shabby and breakfast was rather poor.
Pros: Just one of the staff very nice and friendly. Gave me hot water to make my baby's food.
Cons: No room service..we had to use our dirty towels over again. Floor was dirty cuz of kids we clean ourselves everyday before heading out. No one took the bins out. Our bed linen wasn't change throughout. It's terrible they don't have room service
Cons: Restaurant facilities were not great.
Pros: The rooms were a bit small but otherr then that everything was as expected.
Cons: Rooms were a bit small.
Cons: Interiors were a bit tired.
Pros: Really simple, straight forward for a very short stay.
Cons: Was same breakfast every day and no alternative meat to pork
Just by the centre of the new town, the Mercure Cergy Pontoise Centre is ideally located close to public transport and the RER. This contemporary establishment has air-conditioned, elegantly furnished rooms. A warm welcome, quality services and modern fac ilities: everything available for you to work in peace and quiet or to relax in a calm setting. This is just the address for organising your seminars or a family trip.
Pros: This is Tourist Class 3 -star hotel. The rooms were nice and clean. Apparently in some of the rooms, they turn off the Air Conditioner at 0400 to save energy, but I did not experience this problem. The hotel breakfast was quite good with plenty of fresh food and was worth it! The hotel is a 6 minute walk from Cergy Prefecture Train Station and easy to get to. There is an excellent full gym (Ener'Gym) next door to the hotel for $10 Euros entry fee daily ($5 on 1st visit). There is a McDonald's, KFC, and Grill Restaurant all within 1-2 blocks of the hotel.
Pros: very good hotel, clean, tasty, friendly staff, everything is fine in this hotel except the mattresses.
Pros: Very good relation price/service. Everything ok, nothing exceptional.
Pros: The room (superior one) was clean and spacey but had the charm of a ward in a hospital. A table and a chair in the corner instead of an office desk with AC outlets etc. no lighting there as well. A kind of a tiny ottoman and the bed - of course. Bed was firm but comfortable enough. Garage was very small but OK. Breakfast choice was limited but OK for me.
Cons: Biggest problem [like in most Paris hotels] A/C! First room broken, second room working but even in full run with temp set to 5 [five] Celsius the room would not come down but stay at 24C for the two days. There was cold air coming out but just not enough. Would not come back again.
Pros: Good shower
Cons: 1.confusion over Wifi - info in the room told me that I needed to get the code from reception, reception told me that no code was required. Really irritating. 2. Reception slow and under-manned at 10 pm 3. V uninspiring, very expensive breakfast choice - cold meats looked old
Pros: Staffs' friendliness
Cons: facilities are very old
Pros: The property was clean and comfortable, there was an issue with our rooms, and the staff were very helpful in moving us to another room. Breakfast was good.
Cons: Because the hotel is located by a university, there was very little choice of restaurants for evening meal other than food chains such as McDonald’s, subway etc.
Pros: The suite was big and spacious
Cons: Shortage of ironing boards

Pros: Simple room facilities
Cons: Bathroom small and toilet without cover
Pros: Great location. Just off the A16. Lots of parking and eating places close by. Room layout was very clever design for a small room. One double bed with a single bunk bed across the top. Mattresses very comfortable. It also has a small restaurant that is open in the morning that sells buffet style continental breakfast. It was around 6 euros.
Cons: The only negative point was the room appeared to have air conditioning but it didn't work.
Pros: arrived at 9pm and used the automatic check in machine and was given access codes to use my room and enter the property without an issue. In the area there was a Mcdonald restaurant, an Autogrill and other restaurants. A number shops are also close by.
Pros: Near a shopping centre and restaun
Cons: The hallway, the sheets and pillows smelled cigarettes While the hotel is smokefree
Pros: I did not have the breakfast
Pros: clean rooms and common areas and helpful and friendly staff
Cons: VERY disappointed that AC did not work in both rooms we had booked. after hours no one to fix or address concern. picked this hotel based on AC and then drove extra to get there for that purpose... warm night, opened window was the only reprieve. If it says AC, make sure it works
Pros: The staff was very rude
Cons: Breakfast could be improved
Pros: Supermarkets are around. Rooms were clean.
Cons: It is not a special Hotel but it serves the purpose for a short stay. Bathrooms are not really comfy and the is no loo lid. Thats a bit disgusting we felt.

Cons: No real restaurant and overpriced

Pros: the bed was quite small but room was very clean and quite.
Cons: The reception desk crew in morning time was not kind for me. Even though I asked questions, she didn't try to help me in hotel.
Pros: Comfortable bed
Cons: Small rooms
Pros: Not much to like. Renovated in 2015 but just not look as renovated. Definitely not equivalent to 150 Eur per stay
Cons: Smelly sewer all over the hotel and rooms Horrible bathroom Worse breakfast I have ever had
Pros: The location was good for our cycling route. It was great that they had drinks and food in the evening
Cons: Everything was good just the room is very small.
Pros: Generally reasonable accommodation and good value for money.
Cons: Poor nights sleep due to other numerous and totally inconsiderate guests. Doors banging in the early hours and shouting in the corridors. Not of course the hotels fault
Pros: Decent breakfast, nice location.
Cons: Room extremely small, smaller than even all Ibis Budget hotels I stayed. Wi-Fi signal really bad. Overall Quality/Price too low.
Pros: Good location
Cons: Worst bed I use in my entire life, noise, extremely tiny room,
With a stay at Campanile Cergy Pontoise in Pontoise (Saint-Martin), you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Cergy Pontoise University and Essec Business School. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and multilingual staff. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: All was just ok
Cons: Breakfast was poor very little choice no eggs not value for money. No chef evenings even thought advertised as with restaurant.
Pros: Staff were very friendly and helpful when asked. Restaurant was very nice, food was excellent, atmosphere was nice. Location is excellent when you get to know the route to the Shopping centre/Train station.
Cons: Room was quite basic and small, quite cramped, Not reflected in pictures. SatNav not accurate with access to the Hotel so initially confusing to find. Hotel is very close to 3 Fontaines Shopping centre/train station, but this is not clearly indicated anywhere. Staff could explain this. To get to the shops/train station you need to walk across some waste ground behind the Hotel, down some stone steps, cross the motorway by pedestrian lights, and up some stone steps to access the Shopping centre and train station, about 10 minutes walk. This is not clear on website. We got lost walking back from the train station late at night before discovering the short route. Also, no night staff on duty so checking out at 6.30am on Saturday for an early flight was impossible. Do it the night before.
Pros: Comfortable bed, coffee and kettle, good size bathroom, good size room
Cons: Receptionist was not welcoming
Pros: Just a few meters off the Highway, but calm and well sound-proofed. Proven Campanile Standard, so, no (bad) surprises. Good bed, friendly staff, all as expected.
Cons: Breakfast was even below French Standard, just bread with cheese and ham, no eggs, no fresh vegetables ( Tomatoes..). Just acceptable, not more. Dinner and wine the evening before were good!
Pros: The property met our expectations as we only had one night before collecting our camper van. The rooms were basic but very clean and the staff are a friendly bunch.
Cons: This is not a hotel for holiday purposes. You get what you pay for but without air conditioning and just the bare facilities, if might hamper a holiday spirit. For business trips, this would be perfect.
Pros: The staff is friendly
Cons: Having 2 groups having breakfast at the same time is not pleasant
Pros: Good price. Helpful employees. Ideal for people who are just spending the night at the hotel. I believe the parking was free as well
Cons: Room was too hot and no way to control the heater. Hotel needs renovating but is still ok for a few nights
Pros: Hotel is in a word location away from things, but only a 15 minute walk from the train station.
Cons: Break fast Size of the room No mini refrigerator The rooms are connected and any voice from near room will be heard.

Pros: Air condition, very friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: Small rooms in need for refurbishment. No lift.
Pros: The location was good and next to activities in town. It was also quiet.
Cons: The staff was extremely slow. The check in receptionist was incompetent and the breakfast receptionist too slow.
Pros: Good conveniences and kocation
Cons: Only manager could speak English
Pros: Good situation.
Cons: Without hair dryer (at booking it is written that this hotel has hair dryer). Lights of the room weren't working correctly. Personnel not kind. They wanted to serve breakfast even if it wasn't the time to finish breakfast service. Noise in other rooms.
Pros: It was cheap and cheerful
Cons: It was very basic, but we expected this anyway
Pros: Very good hotel. Pleasant staff
Pros: The location is probably best for people in a car. It's in a strange industrial estate on the edge of Cergy
Cons: Everything Very small room Cleaning was not proper. Booked for 2 nights and on the first day there was no bath towel there. We thought that it's normal but the second day we got those towels. Room was not cleaned. Everywhere spiders. Bathroom is too small. Shower curtain was dirty.
Pros: Great place to be

Pros: The restaurant is pretty good, nice salad, cheese and desert bar, main courses good and staff very helpful. It does a good job and the parking is close to rooms and free
Cons: You have to drive out if you want to eat somewhere else, not the best location
Pros: Nothing. Cannot access to it.
Cons: It’s totally inapropriate to not be able to get access to an hotel during the night.
Pros: The staff were friendly, welcoming and willing to go the extra distance to help our group.
Pros: Good location close to our friends house. Easy access on the ground floor and a large car park.
Cons: It was very hot when we were there 39 C no air conditioning or fan we slept on top of the beds with the window ajar (there was a lock)
Pros: We visit this area fairly regularly and this is where we stay. It is comfortable and clean. It has all the amenities we need.
Cons: Not enough sachets of coffee.
Pros: I was cycling from London to Paris and wanted a location on outskirts of Paris as I was not due into town until midday. I needed a low cost accomodation that I could also store my bike which the staff were able to accomodate.
Cons: Location is next to motorway so probably best for people arriving late in the evening. Unfortunately the night I stayed that included a coachload of Chinese who arrived late and left early -making a lot of outside noise.
Pros: Nice room, nice shower, but nice breakfast
Cons: All ok
Pros: Handy for what we wanted
Pros: Staff excellent very friendly. Cheap and cheerful and near motorway so easy to access travel routes
Cons: Area no great and no uk tv only French channels
Pros: A strategic place for family with easy transportation. Quite and nice.
Pros: Staff was very helpfull and corteus.
Cons: No bad points.
Pros: Relaxing atmoshpere, clean with friendly staff
Cons: Hard to find the recieption
Pros: Hotel staff was really ver nice and helpfull. Next to hotel is Grill restraunt (a little fast food) but also with next staff. Food was acceptable quality.
Cons: There are not many possibilities to do something at the evening. Rooms are clear but very simple. But for this price I think it is quite fair. In rooms is a little too cold.
