Pros (+) We loved this hotel and have nothing but great memories of our stay there. Great for a couple's retreat.
Cons (-) The property is starting to feel a little bit dated. Parking can be a real challenge at peak times.

Pros (+) We chose a view room, and don’t regret a thing. The views over the mountain and valley were astonishing each morning. The room was also well appointed and spacious. Staff was wonderful. The hotel is slightly further away from town (a matter of minutes) but we ended up seeing that as a benefit. The town shuttle is reliable and whips you quickly into Banff for lunch or wandering, and you’re a five m...

Pros (+) Kayak messed up on reservation, but they worked it out.
Cons (-) Bed is very uncomfortable, all 3 of us woke up with back pain two days in a row. It was cold at night so I wanted to increase room temperature, but maxed out at 25 degree celcius. Ended up catching cold. All hotel staffs didnt care about my tmroom temperature.

Cons (-) Rooms too dark, especially in bathroom for women to put on make up. Didn't exchange CAD back to USD. Fee for parking.

Pros (+) While all the other hotels in the area are in the busy tourist part of town The Rimrock is located up the mountain near the hot springs and gondola. Very clean, great views, friendly door men and front desk employees.
Cons (-) I was surprised that wifi was offered because of the hotel's location, the wifi never worked for myself or my mom. We contacted the guest service number and they were unable to do anything about it nor willing to offer help. (Like I said I understand since the hotel is literally on the side of a mountain.) I was hoping for a quite relaxing night in the hot pool and sauna yet there was some very lo...
