After some debate and phone call to a manager who was not there, they gave us our money back...less one night (as deposit)
Everything. It’s in a terrible slim neighborhood . Our first indication came from the cab driver who took us there. We were warned not to go out walking after dark. It just got worse from there. The elevator is tiny cramped and stinky. The ceiling of the top floor (where our room was) is completely unfinished with exposed pipes and wiring. The room itself was located next to the “Spa” and during the brief time we were there a surprising number of gentlemen clientele were seen (because my bedroom window overlooked the hallway!! Yes, my window has a view of everyone coming out of the elevator) to come and go. The room...while not filthy was surely not very clean, or at all appealing. There was a urinal (also not clean) in the walk in shower. The tub in the other bathroom was awful too. I have pictures of all of you’d like to see. We went up to the rooftop swimming pool which was actually kind of nice, if you could get over the five or six sketchy looking guys working on a scaffolding doing repairs. You had to walk under the scaffolding which they were welding and working loudly on. I thought “No way can we stay here for five nights. Not even for one...” so...we left. The staff at the desk could not seem to understand why we didnt want to stay, and were reluctant to give our money back. They only did so (keeping the equivalent of one nights stay)! after we insisted to speak with a manager (who wasn’t there).
Good gym.... some of the equipment a bit outdated yet functional. Some of the electronic displays did not work. No leg-press. Yet Leg-extension. Gym room is not air conditioned, yet with full open windows on the top flow it is quite bearable thanks to wind flow and vents. Proper 25 meter lap pool - all good. Room: large approx. 40 sqm. More like a studio apartment size rater than hotel room.... quite pleasant. Hotel: older building, from the 70ties or 80ties, so quite run down, but very functional and good service staff. Very inexpensive restaurant.... also serve the food on the top floor at the bar. I was there in August 2019 during some heavy drilling and maintenance work on the building..... workers all over the top floor...... pool and gym still well accessable... yet not so the bar..... they gave me a discount for the inconvenience. So I liked that part too. The MTR is about an 8 Min bike ride away. The location is good, no street noise. Truly good value for your money.
The rooms are large and clean. The staff are friendly. The breakfast is delicious. The swimming pool is wonderful.
The location is not convenient. The hotel runs a bit long. Some water taps and door bolts are rusting.
Lovely hotel pleasent staff very clean. Great pool and gym
Everything else !
Massage facility not open .. Resteraunt food quality excellent but tables not laid..no background music, no atmosphere. It felt like sitting in a works canteen. Such a shame with the good quality of food produced.
