The view of Baños is excellent, it feels safe. The owners are really friendly people, willing to tell stories, the breakfast is good, with bread and jam made at the property and Ecuadorian coffee. The rooms are comfortable, is a great place to disconnect yourself from the city while still being close to it. I think is a great place for a family and adventurers.
While I was ok with it, there is a walk (around 10-15 minutes, going up the mountain) to reach the property, my mother didn't like that much (also, you have to plan around that, because you would not like to do this walk many times a day). Like I said, if you plan for this, it should be not an issue.
It is a bit of a walk to get to the accommodation but it is definitely worth the trip: nice people and very quiet.
Kind hosts. Beautiful view.
Long steep non-paved road to Casa Amarilla (10-20 min walk from town), so we didn't use tur fascilities that much.
Best place we stayed at on our trip to Ecuador! The hike up to the guesthouse was challenging but absolutely worth it! We were also prepared for the hike, based on other reviews. Breakfast was delicious, and the views added to the overall experience!
Very cosy atmosphere, comfortable room, amazing views and super friendly owners. A home away from home.
