Pros: Probably the best place to stay in Baños! Just next to the bus station and close to the center but very quiet with a wonderful view to the canyon. The hosts are very friendly, the rooms are very clean and the amazing breakfast is served on the balconies so you enjoy the wonderful view! We extended our stay and would definitely recommend this place!
Cons: -
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The views were amazing. The staff was so helpful and hospitable. Loved the bed; super comfortable. And the included facilities were fantastic and well-kept.
Cons: It was hard to sleep through the night since the automatic lights would go off when people would enter the halls and since the walls had a space open to the hallway, light would shine through. Didn't help with noise either.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Well situated on the edge of the main town across from the bus terminal, in a quiet location, except for the running river, which I loved the sound of. The room was comfortable as was the bed. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Great view of the mountains and river from the bedroom window, though not all rooms have a window.
Cons: Having to wait a few hours for a curtain to be put up,so that the daylight would not wake me. Though the bathroom had no curtain and the door was part glass, so light came in there. If I had been on a hiking/biking holiday I would have needed a bigger breakfast. It was ok for me.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was spacious and had the most amazing view!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We had a room with a view of the river, it was unbelievable! Great location, walking distance to everything in city center, just off the main area so it was very quite.
Cons: Our bathroom didn’t have a shade which was a little awkward, I think the room was brand new.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful views and really comfy beds!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast location is one of the most spectacular settings we have experienced. The balcony overlooks a ravine with white water that roars at you. The breakfast food is basic, very good but the view is just amazing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic stay. After our nightbus we could go into our room at 8 am. Wonderful. It was very clean and quiet. We had a wonderful breakfast on the balcony. Every time again.
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable, great location!
Cons: They charged additional fees that weren't disclosed beforehand (~5$ at 60$ booking [not the 12% sales tax], 2$ credit card payment)
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Super nice hostel located in front of the bus station. The staff is very welcome and everything is very clean. We enjoyed a lot the breakfast on the balcony.. Stunning view and delicious food! Very good ratio price/quality. You won't find anything better at same price. Saluti dall'Italia

Pros: The place is amazing. The staff is so helpful, how showers, good beds and okay WiFi. Pros: Great stay! We ended up prolonging our stay for 5 more nights (book directly to get a better price). It has two fully equipped kitchens and we love to cook. Our room was great too. Hot water. Good internet connection. Perfect location near the bus station.
Cons: Families are welcome here and we don't like noisy kids. Our room was in the 4th floor which gets tiring to walk up and down the stairs.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: I cannot day enough nice things about this hostel. The location is great, just a couple blocks from a few hiking trails, as well as right around the corner from a grocery store, farmers market, and great bakery. The staff are great and super helpful. They all speak both Spanish and English, but were very patient with me as I was working in practicing my Spanish. They were also able to help me book activities in the area, as well as give me advice on hikes nearby or figuring out the bus system. The rooms are very clean, each with their own bathroom. The beds are very comfortable. The showers are amazing with great water pressure and hot water. All for a great price. I’d absolutely stay here again.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great accommodation, very neat and organised. Owner has good information about the town, good location
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved this hostel! The hospitality is second to none. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, explained everything in slow and clear Spanish and gave us thorough details on all the things we could do in Banos. Really nice vibe throughout with many nice people staying there. Good hangout areas with books to read. Well stocked kitchen and free coffee and tea. Room clean and warm with a spacious bathroom and consistent hot shower. Nice garden. Cheap laundry. Close to good bakery, supermarket, veggie market and nice restaurants. Such good value for money and I don't think photos do the hostel justice. Honestly one of my favourite places I've stayed in South America throughout our 6 month trip!
Cons: Towels a little small and no breakfast included but this didn't bother me.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Amazing staff, Victor was so helpful and hospital. He also organises tours from the hostel at a very reasonable price. We did the Water rafting and jungle 1 day tour and both were wonderful :) Great location. Be sure to eat in the surrounding places too- Pizzeria Buona Sera, Avo Burrito and Zumos. Great hospitality and food.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: There was everything we needed, a hot shower, a comfy bed, a bright, spacious, clean and quiet room. The location of the hostel is really good, quiet but central. Free coffee and tea, friendly staff, good laundry service, good information about what to do in baños. We liked our stay!
Cons: Sometimes there was no one at the reception. Probably put a bell on the reception would be a good idea so one could ring if necessary

Pros: Excellent facilities and very helpful staff
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The service was really great. They helped us book several cheap tours that were really good! The owner talked to us several times and were very friendly and helpful. It was close to town so one could easily walk for 15 minutes or take a taxi for 1,5 $. I liked that it wasn't too close to town as the town is a bit noisy but at the hostel it was quiet. The breakfast was delicious and they gave us big cups of coffee. They washed all our clothes for only 5$. Our room was big and had comfortable beds.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cool hostel located above town. We ended up taking taxis there and back again. Taxis are everywhere. It's a small, resort(ish) town with many great restaurants suitable for all tastes and diets. The Juice Factory was almost a hub for all things going on in town. This juice shop is across from the large cathedral located on city square. We loved banos so much we didn't have much time stay indoors. We liked the stay and so did my family.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It's a great safe and quiet location, with a 10 minute pleasant walk to town and nearby hot springs also only a 10 minute walk from the hotel along a nice valley. The breakfast is very good and enjoyable. The hotel owner is very helpful if you meet him. He even helped me with me business research opportunities and my trip. Great value here.
7.1 Good
Pros: The breakfast The room was big and full of light Laundry service very fast
Cons: Too far from the center
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hostel in Baños. About a 10-minute walk into the centre of town, which is fine as it means the property is nice and quiet, away from the noise of the bars! Very clean and comfortable. It is family-run and the owners are amazing - nothing was too much trouble. Gave me lots of info about activities, where to eat etc. Owner even took me into town in his car to catch my night bus on the evening I left (at about 10pm - and they let me stay in the common area / use the kitchen up until leaving). I actually stayed in another hostel in Baños on my first night there and then moved here as the first was pretty awful (dirty and damp) - definitely recommend staying at Monte Carmelo!!
Cons: Nothing! Great stay.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: Poor wifi access in the room.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Basically everything. Staff were great and it's a very nice atmosphere. The distance to town isn't a problem and provides a more peaceful night as well.
Cons: I can't really say I disliked anything. I suppose the internet connection was sometimes an issue.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff and comfortable.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The roil was comfy, the breakfast was really good and we enjoyed Baños thanks to the owner’s advices !

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This property is a true gem. After several days of intense hiking, we were looking for a refuge for some R&R time and this place was that and more. The rooms are very clean. You are located in the heart of nature, where you fall asleep to the sound of the river and how frogs and wake up to the sound of the river and birds. Despite being tucked away from the craziness of downtown Baños and all its tourists, it is a ~10 min taxi ride of a whopping $1.5 - $2!!!!! :) can’t get much better than this!!! Super friendly staff. Amazing breakfast. And clean room. What more can one ask for??? Highly recommended! You will not regret it! Enjoy peace and nature in Baños.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staying at La Casa Verde was very pleasant! The staff was very nice, the breakfast was amazing and all the facilities were very detailed! I would totally come back!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing breakfast, very friendly staff. Yes it is a bit further from town but bikes to rent can be dropped off at the hotel and to go into town it’s only a 2$ taxi ride one way. The views and tranquility however make it more than worth it to stay here. There’s also a shared kitchen where you can cook.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The owners are super friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is relaxed and homely. Great value for money!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Johan was extremely helpful and friendly, and gave us great advice for places to eat and things to do. The room itself was large and beautiful with a great view. Good breakfast. It is a mile and a half walk to the center of town but we enjoyed walking in for dinner most nights and got a taxi once or twice ($1.50).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was excellent, staff very friendly. Perfect for families.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: This is a little gem of a hotel. Bright spacious room and loads of communal space. Good housekeeping and friendly helpful staff. And above all an amazing breakfast
Cons: It is a small distance from the centre of Baños. But this is needed if you want such a location and views.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The receptionist is very helpful. The breakfast and especially the pancakes were great.
Cons: It's interesting to see, how fotos and ratings can differ from (our) reality. We came there completrly stressed and wanted to relax a bit - this didn't work. We needed to garantuee the booking via our credit card incl. the security pin, but then needed to pay cash! Never had this in hundreds of other hotels!!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Amazing place to stay! We can highly recommend this place, the staff was lovely and always 100% supportive (regardless what question we raised and we had a lot of questions;-). The breakfast was very nice too and the rooms with the balcony (including hammock!) towards the river are sooo lovely. We would definitely come again!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice and cozy place with a very friendly and helpful staff as well as a delicous breakfast. Strongly recommend to stay here when you are in baños.
Cons: Everything was fine.
La Casa Amarilla - Banos (Tungurahua) - Building

Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, multilingual staff, and laundry facilities. A roundtrip airport shuttle is available for a surcharge.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The view of Baños is excellent, it feels safe. The owners are really friendly people, willing to tell stories, the breakfast is good, with bread and jam made at the property and Ecuadorian coffee. The rooms are comfortable, is a great place to disconnect yourself from the city while still being close to it. I think is a great place for a family and adventurers.
Cons: While I was ok with it, there is a walk (around 10-15 minutes, going up the mountain) to reach the property, my mother didn't like that much (also, you have to plan around that, because you would not like to do this walk many times a day). Like I said, if you plan for this, it should be not an issue.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Casa Amarilla is a grest place to stay with great views over Banos and the surtounding hills. The rooms are comfortable and we loved the outdoor seating area with sofas and hammock seats. Darwin, the owner, was always on hand to offer helpful advice about tours, walks etc. and cooked tasty meals too. The homemade jam at breakfast was delicious! It was worth the walk up and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Super friendly staff/owners, very helpful with tours and what to do in Baños. Thank you very much!! And you have a pretty nice view over Baños from up there.
Cons: It is pretty tough to reach from Baños, so going back and forth from/to the Hostel before and after different activities or tours is not easy at all. However, you can also store luggage at the Casa Amarilla City Hostel during the day (which is in Baños city)!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great view, great hosts, warm atmosphere ...it totally worth the climb.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It’s in a beautiful location. The owner is an exceptional host. It’s a bit hard to find and you must walk 1/2 mile up a steep mountainside trail, but the view and hospitality are completely worth it!
7.9 Good
Pros: Kind hosts. Beautiful view.
Cons: Long steep non-paved road to Casa Amarilla (10-20 min walk from town), so we didn't use tur fascilities that much.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Homemade breakfast was delicious and view was incredible!
Cons: It is very far up the mountain which we weren’t expecting. It’s a hike to get back which was tiring every time.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very cosy atmosphere, comfortable room, amazing views and super friendly owners. A home away from home.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Best place we stayed at on our trip to Ecuador! The hike up to the guesthouse was challenging but absolutely worth it! We were also prepared for the hike, based on other reviews. Breakfast was delicious, and the views added to the overall experience!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It is a bit of a walk to get to the accommodation but it is definitely worth the trip: nice people and very quiet.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the fireplace in the room, which the staff lit for us one night. Loved the bathtub for two. Loved the property and grounds--gorgeous!
Cons: Did not like that the spa rooms were next to the pool, so that when kids were in the pool, our massages were disturbed by the noise.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place was wonderful. It has gardens that you can walk through and find many beautiful plants. They had many antiques that make you feel you are going back in time. I would love to stay their again. It was a great way to finish our vacation after traveling 12 days around Ecuador.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: All staff were very friendly, especially Mario in the reception, who was very attentive
Cons: The first night we got the room facing the road and the noise was unbearable.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This place was absolutely incredible. There are a TON of hotels in Banos, but this one is regarded as one of (if not the) best available. The grounds are stunning, with a lot of flora and even peacocks. The view of the mountains is beyond breath-taking. The staff is super friendly, and accommodating. And the complimentary breakfast was a delicious buffet style situation with optional freshly made omelets. I'd love to stay again!
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Nice spa, some of the staff excellent (Mario, Anna, restaurant staff, luggage folks).
Cons: We found front desk manager incredibly rude. Rooms are dark and musty some are directly on loud road. Carpets are filthy and smoke detector disconnected in our room.

7.5 Good
Pros: The location views and facilities are superb. Food very good
Cons: Rooms were a bit cold For the money you pay the customer service isn’t great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed for 2 nights and everything was great untill at checkout the hotel staff made us aware of the road situation in the entire country, presidential state of emergency... So we had to stay longer... They dropped 33 % of the price and upgraded us to the best suite we ever had! Chapeau for the offer!!! In most cases like this the hotel price would go up because you really needed accomodation!
Cons: Nothing at all.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Service was wonderful. The aesthetics of our room were amazing (Manzana Roja room), from the decorations to the views. There was a hot tub in the room and the bed was king sized. Super relaxing compared to the rest of my trip sleeping in hostals. Very worth it imo. Also, the massage was great.
Cons: Service at the cafe del Cielo was a little slow. Nothing major.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I didn't have breakfast that day.
Cons: The suites were a bit cold. It would've been better if the chimney was prepared to be used right away. Even better, if the fire was going on already, as we entered the suite. Overall, we loved staying at Luna Volcan.
7.5 Good
Cons: Internet is so bad
10.0 Excellent

9.2 Excellent
Pros: We stayed in the hotel for one night only, which was too short to enjoy the town and surroundings. The hotel was comfortable, the room was large, beds good, bathroom with hot water, WIFI was working properly. The hotel has a nice inner garden and the rooms are situated around it. The breakfast was plentiful with lots of fruits, muesli yoghurt etc. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. They helped us get a mountain bike directly, and also helped to get our car out of the private parking lot, where most of the space was blocked by another car. We drove on mountain bike to Rio Negro and visited Rio Verde and the Cascada El Pailón del diablo, which was super.
Cons: When you come by car, perhaps it is better to park in the street, because the parking lot of the hotel is small and other cars may block the exit.

Pros: When we arrived the staff was very welcoming and gave me a very detailled explanation of all possible activities in Baños. The rooms are clean. The location is really good. The breakfast is of decent quality, though almost exactly the same every day.
Cons: The lighting: the table lamp was not working and the ceiling lights are rather white and office-like. Maybe the breakfast needs a bit more variation and better coffee. Cheese, ham, different marmalades? Not just eggs and the same white bread every day.

Cons: It's located a bit far from the center but not too much.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It is a nice place with very friendly staff, simple rooms but very comfortable. Parking inside, close to the rooms, nice gardens.
Cons: Its in a hill, so going back at night is upslope. Not so close to the main square where all restaurants are, but not far, the city is quite small.

Pros: The stuff is very nice and helpful!! The shower is amazing. The breakfast is nice and gets you a nice start to your morning. There is a nice kitchen if you want to cook.
Cons: My bed was not very clean and had dust on it. The location is pretty bad and feels out of the center, but you get to the center by a 10 min walk.

Cons: All was A-MA-ZING.!

Pros: todo bien.
Cons: nothing to complain about
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very glad I chose to stay here in Baños. I did not want a party hostel, and this place was very chill, quiet, & relaxing. When I was there, the hostel wasn’t super social, mostly couples, but everyone was friendly. There is a SPA at this hostel- my massage was $25 for 60 minutes, and surprisingly good! The beds were clean, and very comfortable, with charging stations and lights at each bedside, as well as lockers. The bathrooms were very clean, and had hot showers with good water pressure (what a luxury in Ecuador!). Breakfast was nice; crepes, bread, some cheese & ham, coffee. WiFi was fast. I found the employees to be kind and helpful, and it was really lovely relaxing in the hammocks in the front garden. The location is a bit out of the center, but only a 10 minute walk from the heart of it all (yes-there is a hill involved, but it isn’t too bad!). As a solo female, this area felt quite safe to me, and a taxis are super cheap if you did not want to walk at night- a worthy trade off to avoid other hostels’ beer pong parties and night club noise!
Cons: No complaints!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The owner gived good explenation about the things to do around and the tours. The breakfast is really great. Wifi worked well. Next to the stairs to hike up to casa del arbol
Cons: Only thing was , that sometimes, i felt a bit of presure to book all the trips trough the hostel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was great! The place was great and really safe! I really liked it !
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Clean and friendly! Good breakfast and great staff.
Cons: For its price there is nothing to dislike. Exceeds expectations.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was exceptional. I had made a mistake in our booking and the receptionist, can’t recall his name was super helpful in fixing my confusion with the booking/reservation. He couldn’t have been more understanding and helpful. He made us feel at home. The next day we had booked an excursion with another company and he helped us when we were having some trouble getting them to pick us up. Wish I had known they offer the same tours. Breakfast was delicious even my picky teens loved the breakfast and asked for seconds!!!!
Cons: There was nothing not to like everything was perfect. Home away from home.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The personnel was lovely, always ready to give a lot of information, details, help plan your time. Being sick far away from home, and having staff be extra nice to you is a big plus in my book
4.2 Okay
Cons: U can't use the wifi or the kitchen after checked out (11 am) and when I complained about it, I got kicked out. Staff were not nice, rooms were okay but nothing specials. Empty hostels, not social at all

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Edgar, the owner, couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming! He went out of his way to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible and we’re very grateful! He had tons of information on activities and restaurants in Baños. The room was large, comfortable and clean and the breakfasts were tasty! Thanks again Edgar! Jenny & Joe
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Edgar and Jenny saved us on this trip. We were sick and they went above and beyond to take care of us. As two single female travelers who didn’t speak the local language we felt safe and well cared for the entire time we were here! Truly a blessing to have them!
7.1 Good
Pros: The services provided by Edgar, the manager. He's gentle and helpful in every way.
Cons: The condition of the furniture and towels. The hotel needs update. But frankly, for the price it charges, I shouldn't complaint.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Edgar, the hotel manager (owner?), is by far the best thing about this hotel. He helped us immensely in arranging activities and taxi drivers who also were excellent tour guides and photographers, as well as spot-on restaurant suggestions. The hotel rooms are large, clean and comfortable. We didn’t try the spa but it looked nice. Showers are hot and consistent! Breakfast is fresh and excellent. I highly recommend staying here. It’s a cheap cab ride or pleasant 15 min walk from town.
Cons: Only thing I didn’t like were the neighbor’s dogs barking in the morning. It wasn’t too bad though. Typical town noises.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Edgar was far and away the best manager of any hotel I have ever stayed at. He booked all our excursions for us and called us cabs everytime we needed one. He even made us personalized breakfasts every morning. The service you receive at la villa de penon will exceed your expectations guaranteed. An example of the first class service is that I informed edgar weeks in advance that I would be bringing my new fiancée with me and if he could do something sweet it would be appreciated. Edgar filled the whole bed with rose petals, made a giant heart out of rose petals and bought us heart shaped balloons. It was amazing and edgar didn't even charge us. 10/10 would recommend to anyone visiting banos
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It was nice and the spa was nice. The guy working was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was good and the room was comfortable and clean.
Cons: The room was nothing special, I thought it was going to be nicer. I couldn’t sleep, dogs were barking the whole night. It was a little over priced for what it was.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were amazing at the hotel especially Edgar, the manager, who was always there to help with any questions. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful too. The hotel was super clean and rooms spacious with comfy beds. We loved our stay!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was located just outside downtown Banos — a $2 cab ride away. It was clean, comfortable, and the bedroom was very spacious. The steam bath box was a unique, wonderful experience. But by far the best part of our stay was the hospitality that Edgar gave us. He personally coordinated our activities, taking time to share details, make phone calls, and organize everything on our behalf. On a personal note, he's also maybe the nicest person I've ever met. His helpfulness alone makes staying here a no-brainer.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We liked Edgar. He is very polite and sensitive to your needs. The breakfast is great! The staff is more than great! The beds are comfy and nice hot shower in the morning completes overall satisfaction of this hotel.
Cons: Nothing. really everything was just awesome! I cannot complain about anything.

6.3 Good
Pros: The property was in a convenient location, the breakfast was very good and the Ecuadorian staff were lovely and very helpful.
Cons: The female owner's behaviour was rude and unwelcoming. Our family room, which had been confirmed in advance had been given to someone else. No apology was offered and we were treated as if it was an irritation to find us alternative rooms. When we asked how to open the front door because we needed to leave early one morning, there was a lot of huffing and the hope expressed that we did not expect an early breakfast (something we had not requested).
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The overhead light and one small lamp didn’t work. One outlet was no good. The room was pretty dark for this reason. The furnishings nags were simple but comfortable. Loved all the art and cozy fire.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff. I was robbed in the bus to Banos and the manager took me to the police and helped me to get the report for the insurance.
Cons: It is a little expensive for Ecuadorian standards
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location in the town but away from the noise Friendly staff, owners are very kind and helpful Very clean rooms Delicious breakfast
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful guesthouse, tucked away in a quiet street, really close the waterfall and thermal baths. Thoughtfully furnished and comfortable. The hosts and their team are super welcoming and friendly, and the breakfasts are delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Cons: Nothing
7.5 Good
Pros: Amazing breakfast and overall very good food in the restaurant. Hot shower with good pressure. Good recommendations for tour operators.
Cons: Slightly away from the city center but everything a 10-15min walking distance.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It feels rustic and artsy. There is a cozy restaurant as you enter the building and I had a very enjoyable meal there my first night. It's also a great location, a 5-minute walk to the main square and close to many restaurants and cafes. The staff was also helpful in arranging sightseeing. The bed was comfortable and the shower hot. Reasonably priced.
Cons: The furniture was dated and the bathroom has a slight musky smell to it. It was also a bit cold as the temperature dropped to 32F one night and there are no climate controls in the room. There was also a noisy construction project going on across the street which started up before 7am.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It was very centrally located, it had a great view, was quiet, well run, good food, clean and cozy. The owners are a lovely couple and their staff if very caring.
Cons: It met or exceeded expectations...we liked it all. Nothing to complain about.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location and the decor and great value for money.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel fits the vibe of Banos perfectly; relaxed, friendly, with a hippie-cool feeling. The food was great & the owners were welcoming. If you stay there, treat yourself to the best massage you’ve ever had by Diana, whose studio is down the street. We highly recommend the hotel!

Cons: Nothing. Julio and Blanca were fantastic.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The property was nice and the view was beautiful, surrounded by mountains. It was very chill and quiet, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. I was able to have late check out since I took the night bus. It's not really a place where you meet other people, but perfect for relaxing and calm time. As it's little out side of town (only 10 minute walk) you don't get the noises from the bars, and you feel like you are in the nature.
Cons: The room had a bit stuffy smell, but opening the window helped. The wifi was not very strong.
4.2 Okay
Pros: Overlooking quiet garden
Cons: Property was overrun with dogs.Little English was spoken.Walk into town is partly on busy road with no footpath.Steep hill on way back.Room very basic although we did have one hanger for all our clothes.Bathroom damp and cold.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hostal is a great value. Breakfast was delicious, the room was clean, the grounds are very pretty, and it is much quieter than staying in the town. The walk from town isn't bad and it's worth it to have a good night's sleep. But best of all is the owner! He was extremely friendly (despite our language barrier) and helpful. We stored our bags there the day we checked out, and when we came back to get them he called a taxi for us and helped us load our bags. They also have laundry service which is really helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was amazing! The staff members were so lovely and always willing to help. The rooms were very clean and comfortable!
Cons: The hostel is a little outside of town so be prepared to either walk 20mins to town or take a taxi.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: IntiLuna had a very good breakfast, a big beautiful yard with lots of flowers, the hosts were very friendly and helpful, the Salada thermal bath was just up the hill from IntiLuna and it was only a short taxi ride to town. we wouls certainly stay ther again and also reccommend it to friends.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The property is a bit away from the main town and for that reason it is very quiet .Also it's very close to the less busy public bath called Salada.
Cons: Not enough water pressure or hot water.
9.2 Excellent
Cons: Everything was great! Only the plumbing in room 32 needs attention. Beautiful, quiet place!

Cons: You can hear everything going on outside your room.
6.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast was great and so were the owners of the Hostel. It is well priced.
Cons: There was a brig draft that came through the window because the window was smaller than the frame. A resting area for guests is necessary, that is well aired and with sunlight, otherwise we are forced to stay in the room. A closet or something more confortable for putting away your clothes is needed for all guests in each room. The kitchen needed new pots and pans, plates, etc... they are so old and battered up it is a shame.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great staff, breakfast, hot tub, location, rooms, hot water. Fab.
Cons: It was a little noisy due to echoey halls.

Pros: Great hostels was the perfect place to stay for our visit to Banos. Staff super friendly, rooms large size and bed and pillows very comfortable. The included breakfast (crossiants, coffee, banana, juice) was delicious and very substantial for a day of activities. You can even add on a fried egg for only $1. Cons: Breakfast was very small just two croissants and a baby banana with jam and hot drink. There are more options but you need to pay extra.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Outdoor space is huge and beautiful
Cons: The staff specially at the reception are not professional. The hostel policy is to receive $10 as a security deposit which is not mention in the website. When I asked the receptionist the reason for $10 deposit, he said “it’s to guarantee the guest don’t steal anything from the hostel!!!!!! Dorm is big but very busy! The five bed room dorm was okay but my bed was two steps (no exaggeration!!!) from the bathroom!

Cons: Only the room was a little bit small, all the rest was great!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: It's a convenient hostel that's a young international crowd. We stayed there with three smaller kids and it was totally fine.
Cons: Because of the young crowd it might get a bit louder sometimes.
