The hotel Son Burgony is a lovely, family run place in the hills of Banyalbufar. The owner Penny was very helpful in any way, we had a beautiful room with sea view. She also had a lot of recommendations for hiking/walks in the near surrounding. The decoration and atmosphere in the hotel is very nice, and the food in the newly started restaurant of Pennys daughter was delicious. Like in any older house, the walls are a bit thin, but for us it was not bothering.
The location, friendly & efficient service
The location and views offered by the hotel are excellent. We found the swimming pool area relaxing and peaceful. The staff were friendly and we would stay again on our next trip to Mallorca.
Beautiful place,nice hotel no
The hotel is ideally positioned for the GR221 walking route in Mallorca and for exploring one of its mountain ranges. I have stayed on several previous occasions and will continue to do so.It is also located in one of the islands prettiest seaside villages on the quiet west coast . Several good places to eat are also available in the village. No
Helpfulness of staff & owners. Breakfast !!!!!
A beautiful location and views from the rooms. A pretty village/ town with a couple of excellent restaurants. Not budget, but comfortable without being fancy. Could do with some updating but this would be cosmetic. The staff were freindly and helpful.
Relaxed friendly atmosphere with staff available if you wanted anything but discreet enough to leave you alone if that was what you wanted
Family run hotel. Beautiful rooms, elevated view of sea.
The fantastic sea view from the balcony and the friendly staff The beds were small
- location - staff - village - a bit noisy from the street (cafeteria)
The wellness center is well equiped and very new. Hotel is nicely located in the village with a nice view on mountains and sea from the heights. Room is ok, basic and not too spacious. Pool is nicely located and pleasantly quiet. The main road passes in front of the hotel and in the mornings, garbage collection can be noisy for a short while. Else traffic is not a real nuisance. The outsides of the hotel, pool, terrace could be better cured and cleaned. Plants are not well taken care of for instance which is a pity in this nice setting.
Friendliness of the staff
Very friendly staff, excellent location.
Peace and quiet
Its location, in one of the most scenic areas of Mallorca The availability of parking in the village was limited
The fantastic view at sea and sunset, clean rooms, very nice bed, breakfast was good and the staff is very friendly and helpful! Peaceful village with some good restaurants! And the pool is much better then the pictures show! No real sand beach nearby, there is a small bay with rocks!
We had a very warm welcome and an upgrade - the views were stunning The bar was not manned and it meant getting a member of staff from receiption every time you fancied a drink.
Peace and tranquility. Use of facilities at no extra cost.
- Extremely clean hotel - Friendly staff in overall - A varied and quality buffet breakfast - Quiet - Perfect for people who want to see "the real Mallorca", in a rural charm hotel with all modern comfort. Even the pool towels and bathropes for the Spa are free of charge. The free internet computer (in the lobby) is definitely a plus! This hotel is definitely well managed. Price/quality definitely worth the money. My personal score 9 out of 10. - No negative points
The location of the hotel on the beautiful west-coast of Majorca with wonderful sea views & sunset views ! There is a lovely swimming pool & gardens. The hotel is family run & everyone was very helpful & friendly. Can't wait to go back.
Hotel setting, design and facilities were generally good. This was billed as a 5 star, luxury boutique hotel. However there was no visible management and the staff were running on autopilot so service had all sorts of gaps and disapointments. Shame really because a dedicated owner, manager or Maitre d'Hotel would have fixed it
The feeling of being in a very special place and being made to feel very special.
Extremely pleasant staff from reception to gardeners. Very luxurious & we felt very pampered The bar prices were on the high side, though the barman does make an extremely good sour
Peace, tranquility and having a suite with a swiming pool and doing your own thing without hassle. Room service and the fact that bringing the correct order was never correct, there did not seem anyone checking or in charge in general. Also they do not pay attention to bulbs that do not work in the room and for this price the above points are not acceptable.
superb setting, wonderful pool, very friendly staff. We stayed for three nights and wished it had been longer.
views service price, a little high for the amenities and over all ambience.
Wonderful hotel, very exclusive. Nice and helpful staff, beautiful surroundings, great views, very nice rooms. Very quiet and intimate, almost familiar. Real art on the walls. Nothing.
Everything was fantastic, expensive, but fantastic. no
it is a very relaxing environment with professional staff who make you feel very welcome.
The food menu is limited and there are no restaurants around.
The staff was great. Very friendly and accommodative. Felt like home. The location and view was spectacular. It was very peaceful and was nice to get away from the noise of the city. The hotel needs some repairs to the building and the common area WiFi access was intermittent and poor. Would be nice to have WiFi access in the rooms.
tranquility, mountains. the 1 bedroom cottage was far to small..ie bedroom, living area, shower if you dropped the soap you had to exit the shower cubicle to pick it up again !!!...the cooking area was again not suitable...2 small gas rings,!!!no oven or toaster or electric kettle
