The place and sports and activities. All the adventure sports
Amazing suite... huge size on two levels, very well equipped kitchen, private and very clean. Would highly recommend.
I did not realize that the units at Attitash Mountain Village were more like condos rather than hotel rooms. I was only traveling with one other person so I chose a studio room thinking it would be set up like a standard hotel room. I was pleasantly surprised to find a full bathroom with washer/dryer, full kitchen with settings for 8 people, a fireplace, couch bed and murphy bed. It was a perfect size for 2 or 4 people. The location was also very nice, being right at the base of Attitash and within a 10-20 minute drive of several other mountains. The drive to downtown North Conway is also very easy. If you take West Side Road it will put you right in the middle of downtown without any of the traffic on the main road. There was a coffee maker and mugs in the room, but no coffee. We had to walk to the main office to get it, but it was free. The towels were also scratchy, but nothing to prevent us from going back again in the future.
problems between booking.com and the hotel
the room was great, staff friendly, facilities very good, and a place where they are located - between river and mountain is very romantic and peaceful I wish the price would be lower, everything else is perfect
Lots of families with kids Expensive
Convenience for shopping. We found the rooms were getting wore out
Great location. Side door dumps you right out into Settlers Green shopping outlets. Family friendly. Outside of hotel impressive. Inside seems a bit dated but clean.
I liked being so close to these mountains and all the hiking trails.
Close to great shopping and the hotel was very clean. Free breakfast not available
it was family friendly
Location and access to restaurant and shops Great view from room window was ruined by loading dock/dumpster trash collection area.
Great central Location Rooms are a bit small for a family of five
Situation was ideal for local countryside sightseeing, with Kancamangus highway one way, and the White Mountains the other. For those who need it, retail therapy is on site also with a decent factory outlet. Bargain for the price I paid
Great location. Super nice people. Clean. The 4 guys out in the hall way sitting on the floor having a beer laughing till 1AM. The baby in the room that woke up at 3AM and cried till 5AM. The walls are so thin is was almost like they were in my bath room. I won't stay at this place again.
Very friendly and helpful staff at hotel with a relaxed atmosphere. lovely outdoor pool and spa and good access to shops. clean and spacious. Great place. Nothing
Room was clean and bed was comfortable. The breakfast was awful.
Size of room, location, staff was very nice Dated room, no flat screen tv, old furniture that was there when I started going to the green granite 20 years ago.
close to shops and restaurants, easy driving distance to most restaurants in North Conway. Staff very attentive. General decor of the hotel and breakfast room was very tired.
We stayed here before with a bus tour group and liked the atmosphere and general area where it is located. The pool and hot tub are clean and usually have lots of towels. The morning breakfast is second to none...except for the eggs that have cheese squeezed in with no plain eggs to be had...a mere trifle. Our room was cool and we couldn't figure out how to get the heater to work.
the pillows are not excellent... They are so thin. Also the blanket are not enough warm for month novembre.
The inn had a very homey, yet super clean feel to it. The Woodstove, hardwood floors and decor gave it a beautifully rustic vibe. I mentioned my sweeties allergies and the staff made sure we were in an appropriate room.
We had a lovely stay at the Inn. We had booked a smaller room which was perfect for us. It is in the "downtown" area of North Conway just a short drive from Settler's Green and walkable to all the local stores. Bed was comfy and the staff were very nice. We would definitely stay there again
Room was clean and cute, we have been here before and loved it Someone is the near by room was definitely smoking weed because our room smelled like pot all night and also in the morning, not the most pleasurable experience, not really the inns fault but I'd assume they do a walk around the place. You could smell it from afar
It was clean and inviting. The bed was comfortable and the A/C was efficient and kept the room nice and cool. The offering of coffee and juice was a nice thought but it was poorly executed.
Quiet and lovely
I made a same-day reservation through KAYAK. On my arrival, I was greeted and promptly assured that my reservation and payment were both on the books. I walked the short 1/2 block to the main street, and was able to explore the shopping area and found a delightful surprise in Zeb's General Store. Located just off the main road isn't a concern to noise levels - I was on a ground floor room on the side of the building toward the main street and my room was perfectly quiet! A perfect location in the heart of town - and LOADS to do within walking distance.
great location, especially loved the fireplace and jetted tub after a long hike! another guest smoking weed, stunk up the place for a few hours twice during our stay...
Great location, big rooms, local feel
The whole place is so nice.... each room has its own area to relax.... Never stayed at an Inn before, and so glad we did at this one... The A/C didn't cool down the room as much as we like and a queen bed just doesn't cut it... both no big deal... the place so was no nice we didn't care....
I liked that the staff was willing to cater to my family's needs, and though there was a small mix up in the water park they still had plenty to do at the hotel itself, mini golf, swimming hot tub and other things to do around the resort with plenty of shopping available at good prices The wifi was slow and sometimes couldn't connect need to update to better a better internet provider or boost up the internet.
The view was excellent & timing was perfect as it appeared to not be too crowded. The hot tub & pool were wonderful as well as the hospitality from the staff members. Beds were spacious but not very comfortable- would be a problem if we stayed more than two nights.
- Breakfast free, yay and choices for everyone. - wifi free (albeit a little slow during peek hours) - friendliness of entire staff and willingness to accommodate - Lots of great activities for kids and young families - Being right in North Conway allows you to get to literally anywhere without too much of a hike. - Needed a last minute cot, and was easily accommodated. - Great options for pools! - Third party check in was more confusing on what had been paid and what had not been paid. And rate had gone down since we booked. - Furniture and building dated. - TV in room very, very small - Electrical challenged trying to charge multiple devices, not many outlets in rooms. - Additional hooks suggested for hanging up towels and clothing. There was a free wall that could have had two towel racks for added space. A family of 4 would make great use of it.
Location, surroundings The room wasn't cleaned the next day
Cleanliness, close to shopping, attractions, restaurants, bars and lakes/mountains. Full breakfast buffet included. Miniature golf, outdoor and indoor pool included. Nothing, everything was great!
The Hotel was good value for money. Excellant Breakfast with lovely views. ur room was on the second floor - The steps are high and not comfortable, and we are young people!
The staff were so friendly and went out of their way to make sure our stay was great. The room was perfect for us and the grounds are beatiful. Never once felt that closed in feeling that you can get at hotels.Feeling of being in the country but only minutes from shopping, dining and fun. Okay, I am working to find one but would say the television could be updated
Loved the convenience of being so close to everything. The free breakfast is the best we've seen in quite a while. The people next to us were obnoxious and loud. Their kids were playing hockey in the hallways and running up and down the stairs in their suite, which completely shook our room.
This place was great. Very family friendly, great location . Beautiful grounds. Rooms were a bit old fashion but the resort made up for that. Breakfast included each morning with games to play on the resort.
Comfortable and relaxed - any easy and pleasant interlude on our travelling holiday Nothing to dislike
Fox Ridge offered lots of activities for families, from movies to campfires, mini golf, two pools. The kids enjoyed themselves. The breakfast buffet was free and delicious!
Location and facility is great. Beautiful older resort with beautiful grounds and surroundings, Miniature golf available. Personnel were friendly and efficient. Buffet breakfast was good with a variety of hot food and cold juices. Overall a very nice experience. Could have had a better variety of smaller pillows for the bed. Most were pretty large and a bit hard. Probably could have got some different ones if we had asked. It wasn't a big enough issue to make the effort.
The Inn was extremely clean with wonderful, thoughtful employees! The room had everything you could want at a great value. They also had a few sets of play sets in the back in great condition and my son enjoyed greatly. You could walk out back to the Sacco River and a nice immaculately kept pool. I saw many families grilling and swimming throughout the property. We would definitely stay again.
The Hotel is a little ways away from the main street tourist area, but close enough to visit without being disturbed by it. They took care to make sure the golf and rock climbers did not interfere with the guests. They are very helpful and courteous and friendly. Very beautiful setting, and not a cookie cutter establishment. Single brew coffee maker was a nice touch, but coffee supply was not re-filled for second day, and cups and glasses were not replaced with clean ones.
First time at a bed and breakfast. The experience we had was incredible. Nick and his wife and staff were awesome. The room was beautiful. The breakfast was also great. I will recommend many friends to go here. We will definitely return. Nothing !
Très joli Bed & Breakfast. Nous avions le cottage Langdon, chambre confortable et très propre. Le propriétaire Nick est un hôte hors pair, accueillant et très avenant. Excellent déjeuner. Nous y retournerons sûrement. Nothing.
My boyfriend and I stayed there for a weekend trip. We just wanted a comfy place with breakfast at a decent price. The owners gave us just what we were looking for, plus great advice about places to eat, hike and other things to do or avoid. Our room was clean, homey and simple - bed, bathroom, dressers, no TV (but we didn't expect or even cared to have a TV in the room). They have wireless so we just watched Netflix on my laptop. It was pleasant to see a place run by a family, with their cute, well-behaved poodle mix hanging around too! Just a perfect little getaway.
The room had a nice bathroom and good room size While it had a jet tub the times that it could be used were limiting.
The family that own's and works the Motel is very cordial and full of information about the surrounding area. We were fortunate enough to visit with them for a while after breakfast both days. We now have some new friends in Bartlett.
Staff was very helpful. Room was not cleaned on one day. very busy day
Very clean, large room, brerakfast included, modern and well maintained. Breakfast was a chaos - like a feeding frenzy and very noisy - more a reflection on the other guests than the hotel.
The staff at this hotel is incredible. They go out of their way to ensure you are happy and comfortable. They setup activities for children on the weekends leading up to Christmas and the water park is wonderful for kids of all ages. This year our room was located just outside of the water park, this added to the noise level. The staff could have controlled the older children in the young children area of the water park better.
Location Not having a restaurant/lounge for the adults.
I liked the casual ambience of the hotel generally, although I thought the Reception staff were a little too 'casual', but then I'm English and am used to hotel staff in a uniform etc.! In particular I liked the area where it was possible to get hot and cold drinks etc at anytime of the day, and where breakfast was served, giving my daughter and me a place to meet up with the friends we were travelling with. The room was very comfortable, and gave us everything we needed. I want one of those pillows! For an overnight stay I thought it gave excellent value for money.
The water park and the staff
A little firm bed would be nice. While on bed, Bedsheet cover comes out from all corner.
Our family stayed at the Golden Apple and had a great time. We traveled with a 4-year-old, and he loved the play ground and the pool. The rooms were very spacious and modern. Loved that they all had a fridge and a microwave. It's very conveniently located to Story Land and good restaurants. We'll definitely stay here again the next time we're in Glen.
Rooms were clean, checking was easy, nice pool in the back. All in all, exactly what you'd want if you're planning to do some joking around Pinkham Notch.
The room was a good size and very clean. N/a
staff were especially helpful and accommodating. Big rooms were helpful because we had lots of luggage and hiking gear.
Spotlessly clean. Had a 3 yr old and an 11 month old here. Plenty of space in the room, with a little kitchenette outside the bathroom. Staff was excellent. Only issue was the WiFi was spotty.
I was pleasantly surprised by the updated bathroom, cleanliness, overall comfort, and very friendly staff. Good coffee in the lobby in the morning, quiet room in the building out back. Closely located to shops and restaurants.
staff, shower, warm room comfortable bed
The hotel unreachable by any GPS/Never lost system !!! Wrong address in web site. Old equipment and facility.
Staff was friendly and helpful, helped with room selection and restaurant suggestions. Parking was somewhat limited.
Great location for winter skiing and summer family fun at the adventure parks. Hotel is a little dated but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Wifi did not work properly and staff was not able to help.
Great breakfast with homemade muffins, connected campus old-style buildings with rustic accents. Friendly staff, plenty of parking right next to the river and beautiful views of the white mountains.
I loved the hominess of the place No dislikes
Breakfast was excellent Beds were lacking in space. Bathroom just ok. Pillows were bad.
Almost evereything The beds everytime out of us moved its sound
Breakfast, room comfort and good housekeeping
We've been going to Merrill Farm for about 20 years now. Its always like coming home. Same atmosphere , same smell...just fabulous.
I loved the warm homemade muffins in the morning. The antique furniture is quaint. I also loved the cookies in the afternoon idea. The gas fireplace going off and on throughtout the night was somewhat disturbing.
Very well maintained for an older property, clean and comfortable
Loft was spacious Hot Tub was new and clean Pricing was great No Hallway noises Could be heard at all Very comfortable beds and Hot Water 2 Flatscreen TVs in the Loft Room Would have like 1 more bed in the Loft Room (as it is supposed to sleep 4, but the max is more comfortably 3 people. Hotel WiFi was never working properly. Breakfast was very weak - practically nothing, and it was cleaned up so fast in the morning it really doesn't even count as breakfast. No 24 hour desk service - Front Desk closed around 10PM.
