Pros: Beautiful room Friendly staff Awesome location
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Estero Inn is one of our favorite places. Great location, right on the wharf and water and very friendly staff. It was a late anniversary stay, but John still gifted us a bottle of champagne on ice, chocolates. Parking has never been a problem and the hotel is always very clean. Breakfast may lack a little, but who wants to rise that early anyway. Hope to be there next year once again.
Cons: Not much. The place is a great stay with perfect views.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super clean place. Location was great.

10.0 Excellent
Cons: Great place in ,quirky little town
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Bed was very comfortable, room was well equipped, view was fantastic, breakfast was excellent
Cons: Our only gripe was the easy chairs. 1. There was no room to turn them so as to enjoy the beautiful view 2. The seat cushions were not good - they had lost their "loft" so that you could feel the frame of the chair You could not sit comfortably for more than a few minutes!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great attention to detail - very clean - very friendly-
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location and a bottle of bubbles for a celebration.

10.0 Excellent

Pros: The food was plentiful for snacks, staff very friendly and helpful. Lots of cleaning personnel that did not disturb guests. The hotel in is in an excellent location as is very popular amongst couples of all ages. Spanish style with romantic touch, neatly decorated.
Cons: for the mini suite ( and price) we hoped for the view side of the hotel but got the street side instead. it was nice anyways but would have enjoyed the other side of the hotel better.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked the gift basket and the balcony. I loved the jet tub and the easy access to the beach and night club. Loved the wine and snacks and pie
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff and accommodations were amazing. This hotel thinks of everything down to the hospitality baskets that are in your room at check in. Everything your heart would desire! There is a full kitchen but who has to cook with all the extras they supply throughout your day. What hotel has corona's and a nacho bar at 2 in the afternoon not to mention the hot pies served sharply at 8. Can't wait till we come back!!
8.8 Excellent

Pros: Just a Short walk from the beach. I loved the atmosphere and all the complimentary treats. At first we couldn’t find parking but then we found that they had a parking structure under the hotel which was very convenient. Oh and I loved that they didn’t have a two night minimum.
Cons: A better variety for breakfast.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast croissants were delightful, the lunchtime nachos and drinks were fantastic, and the evening hot pies were brilliant. Location was fabulous and the town itself is beautiful!

Pros: They offered a glass of wine and cookie at check-in. A happy hour at the restaurant and complimentary apple cider in the refrigerator. They also gave us a $5 credit to use in their restaurant or bakery. However, if you are not into farmhouse "chic", this place is not for you. My friend wanted to stay here. The gift shop was great.
Cons: Location--not by other restaurants or shops.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Early check in. We'd been on the road, camping. So, treated ourselves. A lovely note for my daughter in the room. Cookies!

Pros: My husband and I were celebrating my birthday weekend and the entire staff, from reception to the restaurant to the gift shop, went above and beyond to make our stay special and memorable! A balloon and birthday card, festive gift wrapping and a birthday dance in the gift shop, new friends, beautiful surroundings - what an awesome birthday! And there were chocolate chip cookies!
Cons: That it was over so soon! Can’t wait to visit again!

Pros: Great place to relax. Staff very helpful and enviroment was wonderful
7.5 Good
Pros: Rooms cute. Good food in restaurant. Cute gift shop. Beautiful grounds/plants/flowers
Cons: Bed too high. Very difficult to get into. Booked online where it stated you only had one room left, which was a very expensive. Got here to find out you did have other vacancies. Felt a little deceived, but our room was lovely.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very welcoming, hotel reminds me of a bed and breakfast. Very clean with a lot of character. Highly recommend others to stay here when visiting San Louis Obispo.

Pros: Cozy, well appointed, homey.
6.0 Good
Pros: I liked the decor. We like the cookies at check-in! We liked the restaurant..
Cons: The room was extremely small, it was nothing like the photos I saw on the website. I made the incorrect assumption that all rooms had two beds, so I clicked on Internet Special! Big mistake! The room was too small for me and my two children.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was lovely
Cons: Facing the parking lot
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We had the best stay! The Apple Farm is a beautiful hotel. Our room was huge, comfortable beds and a nice sitting area. The hotel provided local wine happy hour, fresh baked cookies and coupons that we used for breakfast. We took the trolley into downtown both nights for dinner, which our toddler loved. And all staff were really nice, can't wait to stay again and wish we'd tried this hotel before!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Biggest room ever. Many special touches.
Cons: The cost of the room.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Only a one day stay. Great place - Great Breakfast - All good !
Cons: Stay for one night was $ 295 When I returned home, read facebook add - room at Apple Farm - $ 200 I am sure that I had read on ... it was only for certain days ?

Pros: Pet friendly, very clean, perfect location, daily complimentary breakfast brought to your room.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Hard to get ahold of staff. Minimal time to check in or check out when the staff was present. Didnt like having the coffee pot in the bathroom next to the toilet. No place in the bathroom to put your toiletries for two people.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location the staff.
Cons: N/A
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Booked one night of our trip up the coast. The reviews do not do justice to this inn. The young lady who checked us in was so welcoming and when we entered our room it was like !WOW! The breakfast and coffee/cappuccino were hot, delicious and freshly made. Will definitely return.
3.3 Mediocre
Cons: Beware I would not recommend!! Base bed sheet did not cover the mattress protector by a foot. We had a power cut which could not be helped but there no staff on site at all - nobody out of respect to ask. When I arrived the guy in the reception was challenging a guest on the phone as he had realised that the rates on the internet for next years graduation dates were wrong and too low. Although this person had legitimately made the reservation he stated that her card had expired when it hadn’t!! Also please beware too, you book your breakfast the night before and it is served to you from a trolley out in the open air but a server who is self employed for this provision. This certainly would not pass health and safety, there were cars starting up within feet way and the exhaust fumes blowing directly in the vicinity where the food was being served! I have emailed the Beach Bungalow with my concerns on three occasions and have not had any response whatsoever. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!
7.5 Good
Pros: We didn't have the breakfast as we met with a friend at Kitty's on Main St. The bungalow was very nice, we had two rooms, one with a king size bed and one with a queen size bed. Both rooms were accessible to the bathroom.
Cons: Outside of the room there was some type of buzzing alarm that we could hear inside both rooms. It was quite loud and it started around 5:45 pm and continued until 12:00 am. I did contact the office personnel, he came over to the room and described it as a type of alarm regarding the gas line. He did call someone but it was very irritating that nothing could be done about it.
The Landing at Morro Bay - Morro Bay - Building

9.2 Excellent (785 reviews)

7.5 Good
Pros: The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The view from the 2nd & 3rd floors was great.
Cons: I’ve never encountered such a bitchy man working the front desk at our check in. Perhaps he had a very difficult early afternoon with hotel guests, but by the time we checked in, he was extremely cranky, rude and talked down to us. Since I own a business and require my employees to be courteous and pleasant, he wouldn’t last a day. The breakfast was minimal continental, with most of the seating outside; lucky for us it was summer time and not rainy. And I missed that the hotel was 3 floors with no elevator. I have arthritic knees and am 71 years old. This wouldn’t have been a choice if I had known we were booked on the top floor and had to carry up our own luggage.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was beautifully appointed and very clean. Easy to walk to downtown and restaurants.
8.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, modern comfy and clean.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location- steps to the waterfront! Rooms are new and updated, stylish and charming.
Cons: Room didn’t have an iron- we had to go check one out at the front desk.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Room was super clean, beds comfortable. Quiet location (except for the seagulls! they are loud, all night!) near all the great restaurants, coastal walk etc. Friendly staff. Cute little chairs, tables out front for an afternoon bevvy. Sat farmer's market was cute, and just up the street.
Cons: Breakfast was minimal, a couple muffins, hard boiled eggs, packs oatmeal, oranges. But on the plus side, coffee machine is the real deal, cappuccino, latte, fresh ground beans!
9.3 Excellent
Cons: I booked 3 rooms for 3 families & we were situated on the ground floor. We can hear footsteps, bed creaking, moaning & grunting from the rooms above us.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location! Super clean.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was in the center of it all! It was so clean and comfortable. We loved the nautical decor! Great experience!!

Pros: Perfect location! Room was very nice. The going man who greeted us was so personable! Great stay.
6.0 Good
Pros: Staff was friendly. Location was great.
Cons: Looked like it hasn't been updated since the 80s. Every cupboard was nailed shut. no iron. Online price including their fee was 125, I still got charged 131 a night.
7.0 Good
Pros: Very Clean
Cons: Poor Breakfast

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful location and the set up with a small resturant as the "breakfast " option is very nice. Convenient to other beaches and towns in the area. Very pretty gardens to walk through also! Talked with other repeat visit couples there who say "this is the place to stay in the area!!"
9.5 Excellent
Pros: View of gardens and bay.
Cons: Bed could use a firmer mattress. Shower a new shower head.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place is a jewel. It is quiet, peaceful with lots of birds to watch. Breakfast is offered in a close-by cafe. Staff are all pleasant.
5.0 Okay
Pros: On the plus side the location is good if you want to be away from the noise and traffic of Morrow Bay. Staff was friendly and grounds are nicely landscaped. Room was large but shows its age.
Cons: Overall the room seemed clean, but there were dirty fingerprints and scuff marks on the doors and jambs. Grout on the tile floor and countertop was dirty. Mildew in the shower and around the sink. For me the bed was very uncomfortable, saggy and noisy. Compared to other less expensive hotels the included breakfast was very limited. Voucher for small menu selection at a café on the premises. Also kind of cheap, i.e. coffee or juice, but not both.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Quiet, no wild nightlife
Cons: nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. Nice room. Fabulous grounds to relax in. Beautiful scenery.
Cons: Liked everything.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The Back Bay Inn is unique. Who would not love a lawn, a flower garden, comfortable Adirondack chairs, all set in front of a peaceful bay? The room we had faced the water, and we enjoyed the peace and calm of the place. This is the 4th time we stayed in this inn, and we will go back again.
Cons: The only problem is the price for us, a pair of retirees. Still, have paid similar prices for places with less to offer.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, we had dinner and spent time in Morro Bsy which was a 10 minute drive away
9.3 Excellent
Pros: We love the location and breakfast at the Back Bay Cafe.
Cons: The only downside are the rooms upstairs. Our room, while it had a fantastic view, could be updated. Everything looked old and tired.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: small hotel, very comfortable atmosphere. Great restaurant!!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfy bed. Lovely landscape. Delicious breakfast.
Cons: Satellite TV

Pros: Location, size of room, snacks

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Big room (studio), complimentary wine and cheese tasting, friendly and helpful staff, nice view on the ocean, free parking
Cons: Small bathroom, expensive (although along US 1)
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice location, friendly staff. Both the breakfast across the street and next door were really good. The gas fireplace is a very nice touch.
Cons: The staff knew, but did not bother to tell us in advance the TV had no sound ( the 5% rebate seemed fair ). The bath room carpet did not fit under the door. Some of the windows were really tough to open / shut. The toilet seat was really flimsy. A proper ice machine would be nice.

Cons: Had trouble with Wi-Fi connection, but not a big deal at the time.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very clean
Cons: Parking should have designated stalls per room number.
5.8 Okay
Pros: It is fairly quiet during the night, the beds are comfortable, and the rooms are warm. The inn is relatively close to the pier area, and in (extended) walking distance to the Morro Rock itself (about 20 min walk).
Cons: The rooms are rather small, the bathroom is tiny, and the bed sheets were a bit smelly (not necessarily unclean, but whatever detergent is used leaves a nasty smell). While there are not many more comforts to be expected from an inn, value for money does not seem to be on the best balance.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Nothing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, great shower, fair size room
Cons: Mattress should be replaced.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Small one story motel where you park in front of your room. The place shows the pride of ownership of the couple that run it. The appreciation they have for their guests shows in many subtle way.
Cons: Rooms and the bathroom are a bit small. Flat panel TV but no HD content available.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The owner Ann was very friendly and helpful in taking care of any request
Cons: The floor needed cleaning but we wore our shower shoes so it was not a problem. Also the bed was slopping down on the sides so I kept slipping off

7.5 Good
Pros: Everything was sufficient.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location and amenities
Cons: The sink and toilet in our first room did not work. The breakfast is very mediocre
6.8 Good
Pros: The room was spacious and clean. The coffee at breakfast was good. It was right off the 101 and easy to find.
Cons: The parking here is a disaster. It’s very difficult to have more than one car coming in or out of the driveway at a time. My husband has difficulty with his knees and our room was up 3 flights of steps. Also I think the ac unit was on the roof above our bed because when it was on in the room I kept hearing a strange gurgling sound coming from the ceiling.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Room very nice and breakfast excellent.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great little hotel in San Juan Obispo, we stayed for one night on our way from LA to San Francisco. Beautiful room in the style of English manor, big and comfortable for 3 people. I liked the decor and the "european" feel of the room. Beautiful bathroom. Very quiet and clean. The included breakfast was ok. Parking was available, free and very accesible.
Cons: The overall selection of the breakfast buffet could be a little better, but the food was good.
10.0 Excellent

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Beds - super comfortable
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was fantastic. We were in the “Craftsman” building so the room was done in early tones with craftsman style furniture, lighting and decor. The bed was super comfy. Check in staff were very friendly and gave us some good dinner recommendations.

Cons: Nothing, it was perfect!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location and cleanliness
Cons: It was possible to hear some noises from street
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Save money and bring your own food to cook. Store only half mile away. Oven big enough to cook a full pot roast or roast chicken.... So good. They provide pots and pans and utensils, even a can opener.
Cons: Not much really. Most was great. Kitchen needed an oven mitt and a sharp knife to cut foods but we made it work.
6.3 Good
Pros: The hotel has a charming appearance and an excellent location, and the room has a refrigerator. The staff is pleasant and the room clean.
Cons: My room was very tiny and cramped, without overhead lighting (lamp and reading lamp over head of bed); no space to hang clothes or towels.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is great.
Cons: Nothing to not like.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was very big and comfy. Very clean. They leave a snack box in room for the guest. I was there for my Birthday and when I told them they put a Happy Birthday Debra on the billboard!! The seats outside were a nice touch we met our neighbor and sat outside talking for a while so that was nice. Walking distance to lots of things.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beds were comfortable and provided dog bowls with complementary snacks for humans and pets.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Parking convenient view
Cons: Locations Staff Clean
6.8 Good
Pros: The big king bed very comfy. Close to Embarcadero. Excellent location. Nice to have a kitchen though so small it’s hard to maneuver. Pet friendly.
Cons: The whole facility needs renovation in the worst way. The bathroom ridiculous can only get in walking sideways! We have been coming to Morro Bay for years it’s really sad the hotel prices have gotten so high. Paying over $200 per night for this place is crazy. Will try Air BnB next time.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect and the staff is so friendly and treat you like family. Its a smaller motel style that is TOP OF THE LINE for its style. Its exactly what we prefer for beach cottage style fun ! HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Cons: NOT A THING
Garden Street Inn - San Luis Obispo - Building
11
9.0 Excellent (384 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Garden Street Inn in San Luis Obispo (Downtown), you'll be a 1-minute drive from Mission San Luis Obispo de Tolosa and 5 minutes from California Polytechnic State University. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, luggage storage, and a library. Free self parking is available onsite.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was everything for me. I don't drink and drive, but Uber is always an option.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: I loved how cozy everything felt along with having ample space in my suite. Old style furniture was great. I loved being really close to downtown amenities. Fresh baked goods every night and a hot breakfast at 8 were also very nice.
Cons: Water pressure in my room was extremely low making the shower a bit difficult. The lock in my door stuck a bit making getting into my room sometimes challenging. There was not an iron or board in my room so I had to borrow their one iron and iron on towels. Parking was also 2 blocks away. Windows don't quite fit so it is extremely challenging to actually lock the windows--you must apply a lot of force to slide the lock while
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was delicious and the staff very accommodating
Cons: No on site parking, though there is validated parking at a near by public parking facility.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We booked this last minute on a road trip. It was a great B&B. The staff was welcoming. The property and room was clean. The breakfast was delicious. I also really liked the location downtown.
Cons: I realize that it is a B&B, but the room was furnished like grandma's house. It could use an update in my opinion, but others would probably love the rustic charm.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location is great - you can walk all around town. We stayed on a Sunday night on the 2nd floor and it was very quiet except for a large trash truck in the morning. The room was lovely and very clean. We arrived early and were allowed to get into our room as it was ready. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. NOTE: there is no parking near the Inn - they give you a parking pass for a public lot a couple blocks away - so if you have any mobility issues walking back and forth to the parking lot, it might be a problem. If no mobility issues, grab the local street map at the front desk and have a great time walking around a wonderful city - check out the Mission, Dalidett Adobe, Bubblegum Alley. Many great restaurants within walking distance.
Cons: The parking situation was ok, but a bit awkward.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: It was such a delightful stay! I loved the home baked goods that (I think its the owner) cooked for the day and breakfast. SO DELICIOUS!! Staff were warm welcoming. Room was clean, vintage looking ( which i loved) and quiet. Major plus was the hotel being literally in downtown of SLO. Literally 3-5 minute walk to stores etc. Super convenient. Also it was the BEST darn breakfast we have ever had. It was mentioned it would be no meat (I was dismayed) but holy moly - my husband and i understood the raving about the food here! It was sooooo good and satisfying. Thank you!!
Cons: Just minor ones: Parking isnt located at the establishment itself. Its just around the corner in a parking garage. Take a ticket and hotel card, when you leave just give it to the person and you're good to go. We dont pay for parking. Second was the Jacuzzi tub. I didnt know our room came with one (I was excitied) but found it didnt work? I asked one of the staff and I got the impression that its there...but it doesnt get used? Nor it will be kind of thing. Then what's the point?lol Since i didnt initially look specifically for that in our room, I didnt make a big deal. If I did, then it would be a different story.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I love the breakfast and localization
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Central location in SLO. We walked everywhere! The staff were all friendly and most helpful. The room was quaint and comfortable and the breakfast was wonderful.
Cons: Our room had a soaking tub which doubled as a shower. It was treacherous getting in and out of it.

4.2 Okay
Cons: Noisy AC unit or generator outside bedroom. Woke me up 800am.
5.0 Okay
Pros: My husband and I like the dining room and the coffee shop.
Cons: The room was very small, the location was bad (3rd floor facing the stairway). We could not sleep because of the people were going up and down the stairway until 5:00 am, no elevator (very hard to carry heavy luggage), the room does not have enough electrical outlets (looking to plug our computers and cellphones), the bathroom does not have a counter, very hard to find a place to put accessories, and it does not have a place to hang wet towels. We were out of the room for the whole day during our second day stay, when we came back as soon as we opened the room the smell was very bad especially the closet. Our stay did not meet our expectations. We heard a lot about nice things of Madonna Inn and now that we have stayed, I don't think we can recommend the place. Our neighbor, before we left for San Luis Obispo to stay at Madonna Inn, asked to give us feedback about the place because she was planning to visit the place anytime soon. I am very sorry for this review. I hope something will be done.
6.3 Good

Cons: Need air freshener at the room before the arrival of the guests, room smells like “vintage “ too.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great pool, especially for young children.
Cons: The food in the cafe and restaurants is really disappointing and you can’t walk to any alternatives.

Cons: Bed was not as comfortable as I thought. It didn’t support my back and woke up a little ache.

Pros: Everything- what a fantastic location! Delicious breakfast, a great find
Cons: The breakfast room attendant was struggling to top everything up fast enough. Otherwise, I can’t fault it.
7.0 Good
Pros: The room was spacious and location great, right on water.
Cons: So in the pictures the hotel looks as if it has been remodeled and some of it has but it is as if they ran out of money. The staff leaves at night, there is no one there in case you need something, such as toilet paper, which we ran out of. Very unpleasant. Staff returns at 8 the next morning. Also when I made the reservations it appeared as if pets were not allowed but once on property we noticed that was not the case. My kids have allergies to pet fur etc.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the balcony and being able to see the ocean and people watch, it was located at the end of the Strip so we could walk to the park with the dogs or walk the strip and shop and we did a lot of that. Our Inn is so well known that when we ordered pizza delivered all I had to say was Embarcadero Inn and our room number. My son and dogs slept like ,well dogs..lol the fireplace was awesome..I just can't say it was one thing, because really between Mike at the desk and how comfortable the room was that made our stay so great. Thank you
Cons: We couldn't stay longer
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Nothing. Was very nice.

Pros: Fantastic boutique hotel in a perfect downtown location! Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, great little bar and bistro attached to the hotel and a cool upper deck patio with an outdoor fireplace. It has the feel of a little European Inn. Absolutely one of my favorite hotels!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: For me the most important part of an environment is the lighting, and it was perfect! Soft, intimate, and wonderfully welcoming. The design and furniture are memorable. The bed and shower are luxurious. And the service is priceless: they brought chocolate truffles to our room!! I can't wait to go back!

Pros: I really liked the design of the hotel, the featured brickwork, the originality of the decor and furniture, the general plan of the rooms and sitting areas.....really a pleasant experience to stay there. The location was perfect, and the front desk gave excellent suggestions when asked.
Cons: Better coffee.....not strong enough. Oatmeal cookies are a very nice touch and delicious.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the look and overall feel of the hotel. Very well executed in every way. My husband got the romance package and it was lovely! I enjoyed the chocolates, flowers and wine!
Cons: Their parking lot is tiny, I wouldn't anticipate parking in their lot. However, they do validate your parking so you can park in the structure across the street.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: We only stayed one night, for this is was good.
Cons: The wifi connection is not the best and the fridge is quite loud.
7.5 Good
Pros: It was located in a prime location, close to the Embarcadero and downtown. Our room was very clean and featured a great view of Morro Rock. There was adequate parking with no fee. Because we were here for a family emergency, we couldn’t take advantage of these benefits.
Cons: The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. We had a king-sized bed, but the pillows were extraordinarily small and hard! Because of the family emergency, we sorely needed rest. Although we paid a premium price for the room (high season), we did not experience that.
7.5 Good
Pros: Bed was comfortable, staff was very helpful & friendly, room was clean
Cons: The breakfast could have had a better variety & more hot foods such as oatmeal, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage. The start time for breakfast could be earlier, we like to go out on our boat early, but in order to get breakfast first we have to wait until 7:30, it would be nice to bump that time up to at least 6:30

9.3 Excellent
Pros: I enjoyed my stay in la Serena Inn. We were on our honeymoon and we booking a room here because of the position (By the way amazing!! You can go to the Pier by walking 10 minutes and you can see the Morro by your window). When we arrived, the girls at the reception were very nice and they left in our room a bottle and a message to congrats for our wedding. So nice!! Parking was free and we could leave our car untill 3 pm after check out in the morning. the staff let us to walk and discover Morro bay until 3 pm with no additional charge. we appreciated a lot!!!!
Cons: Breakfast was mostly continental with waffle, juice and cereal. I would like to have also some sausagel or eggs cooked in different ways, but it is my personal opinion, if you like a sweet breakfast is very nice and complete. Rooms need a refresh, but they have everything you need!! TV, fridge, freezer, welcome products in bathroom.

5.5 Okay
Pros: The hotel provided a room with an ocean view. Restaurants and souvenir stores in a walking distance.
Cons: The view is not as pretty as on the photos. The hotel was not remodeled.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location is awesome. Close walk to everything downtown. Breakfast was enough to start the day and the breakfast room staff was very friendly. Oatmeal, cereal, toast, muffins, bagels, English muffins, pastries, hard boiled eggs and even a pancake maker. Coffee, milk, juice are also provided as well as fruit. So, it's enough to start your day and get you through till lunch. It was quiet and we had a view of the bay, Morro Rock and the shops below. We would stay again when in the area. The screen to our balcony needs to be replaced but that is an easy fix. I'm hoping that soon they will start updating the rooms as they are looking a little worn but it was a great trip and we loved our view.
Cons: Nothing to dislike really just maybe the parking is an issue. Several times we had to park across the street but for us that was not an issue, others might not agree. If walking a distance or having to use stairs like we did for our room then it might be hard for older guests or families with small children since that is where the breakfast room is as well.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Room was spacious, view from 2nd floor was beautiful looking directly at Morro Rock. Good parking, didn't have to drive anywhere for lunch or dinner unless you wanted to. Many restaurants and shops in very easy walking distance, although there are stairs to navigate if you want to walk to the embaradero. Staff was friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast provided eggs, pancakes, oatmeal, etc., plenty of coffee.
Cons: Pillows are very hard - had to sleep without one or get a stiff neck. Room had a stale odor which persisted for hours- staff offered to move us to another room. Dissipated by evening with window opened.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable
Cons: Not much to do there unless you want to go on the water fishing, boating, canoeing, everything closes early around eight, we came here as a stop gap on our way to Solvang a beautiful danish town.

Cons: pillows.....like sandbags but everything else was wonderful.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Walking distance to town, great location and view
Cons: No pool, no jacuzzi. Decor is dated very close to town
6.3 Good
Pros: View. Fresh air. Parking.
Cons: Power out half the stay ! Alarm sounds repeatedly as if a disaster drill (2-3 am). Unable to sleep half the night. Unable to use elevator with luggage (have spinal stenosis). Bathroom dark, unsafe to shower. Cannot use window for fresh air (sea lions barking into the night...too noisy). No TV. No WiFi. No I’m-room coffee (All systems down.) Continental breakfast should be better.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: the hot tubs.
Cons: the room was small. i"ve always stayed at the suites. I'll definitely go back but wont stay at the regular rooms.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Sycamore Springs is a hidden gem! I have never heard of it before and also had never heard of Avila Beach before which is just down the road a bit. THe Avila Barn is very close by as well. This place is amazing! We had the King Suite - Calming Room. It was so spacious we could have lived there! A fireplace for the chilly morning, even in August! A mineral hot tub on the deck and a wonderful king size bed. Along with that there was a double head shower! The food and drinks were great! We also rented a hillside hot tub which was quite a climb to get to but definitely felt one with nature up on a hillside in the trees with a very private hot tub. Overall a wonderful place to visit and we will be back again! Definitely recommend!
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Clean sheets, private hot tub
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The cleanliness and comfortable area. Staff was very gracious. And helpfull
Cons: Wish check out was later than 11am
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location of our room was lovely. Our room was on an upper level which we really liked. It was quiet and well appointed. We were thrilled to try the hot tub and the robes were perfect to use coming in and out of the patio. I would like to tour some of the other rooms for a future visit but we really liked our room. The grounds were also beautiful. We hiked, walked, and got to see so much of the property which was very inviting and peaceful. We loved the mid-week get-away and appreciated getting a reasonable rate and able to book for one night only.
Cons: Parking was hit and miss near our room. There is probably need for more spaces for the rooms up the hill ( we were in Harmony Building). Wish we’d had ice brought to our room when the hot tub was being set up ( we were told we could call and request this but didn’t really want to make a request late at night). We also recommend that waste baskets be carefully cleaned ( the outside of our stainless steel basket looked pretty dirty.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Mineral water, hot tub & beautiful property
Cons: Poor water pressure in shower and AC did not work
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was lovely and the hot tub was good. The bed was very comfy and the pillows were brilliant. Lots of quiet and nature and the staff in general were very helpful.
Cons: For the price we paid, breakfast could have been included. Not sure we got value for money, especially as the bathrobes had make-up around the neck lines, which were a bit off-putting.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent experience, it was our anniversary and they put a special pillow that said happy Anniversary with a card . Just a very quite place to reconnect with your spouse.
