Good advice from Laura on some local places to visit and where to eat. After breakfast she offered to play the harp for us. We had to decline as we needed to get on our way.
When you book a B &B you expect a personalized service and things to work. Well my Scottish experience has taught me that’s not the case. Each B&B owner wings it and that is the case here. There is no value add to make you want to stay here over a hotel. The room was functional as was the breakfast but nothing more and certainly nothing that made it a special B&B experience.
Laura the host was extremely friendly and helpful
The room was extremely comfortable and clean with all the amenities. Laura's home is located extremely conveniently to town and highway both and has all newer features. She is a delightful host and very interesting woman.
The owner is a lovely lady who was very attentive and had great stories to tell, she even played the harp for us at breakfast, she was utterly charming. The rooms are beautifully kept and the breakfast was wonderful, the place is a short walk or drive from the nearest pub and it's only a short ride into town where all the main attractions are. 10/10 would stay again.
I disliked nothing.
With a stay at Loch Ness B and B in Inverness, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Urquhart Castle and Loch Ness Centre & Exhibition. Free self parking is available onsite.
