Pros: The cleanliness of the whole facility. The food was great. The bar drinks were good.
Cons: No safety’s bar in the shower.
6.7 Good
Pros: My husband and I stayed at this property several years ago. It was very nice. This time we were disappointed. The lighting inour room was totally inadequate and the blinds were broken. The hall carpets were torn in places and the fireplace in the common area was out of order. The breakfast was ample and the food on the regular dinner menu was good. However, I had one dinner special that was prepared by a guest chef and it was not good at all. We thought the prices for accommodations were overpriced for the quality of the place.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good location. Good staff. An A+ for Chris at supper time. Decent room. Decent breakfast.
Cons: TV did not work the next morning. Called front desk. Said maintenance would come to reset the box. They never showed up.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic views of Lake Superior, up close! Located right on the shore; from our lake view room I could watch the waves crash on the rocks. The 24-hour coffee availability and on site dining was very good. The common areas were very inviting, with huge windows to the lake, comfortable leather couches and chairs, table games, card games and a lending library of books and dvds. Staff was friendly and helpful. Beds comfortable, bathroom very clean.
Cons: Would have appreciated on site laundry, as I was thru-hiking and did not have a vehicle.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view out of the room window. The dining room and food was good. The pool.
6.3 Good
Pros: location!
Cons: main fireplace in lodge not working! restaurant on hill closed! pool closed!
