10.0 Excellent
Pros: Peaceful, relaxing, quiet, great breakfast, warm hosts, spotlessly clean, comfortable room, beautiful gardens, lovely pool. The hosts had great local knowledge and we wouldn’t have had the experience that we had without their guidance. Perfect stay and can’t wait to go back!
Cons: Nothing, all perfect.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The setting, the breakfast the family who rund the place, everything was just perfect!
Cons: Nothing could’ve been better
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Taxi service. Very difficult to explore the area if you didn’t rent a car.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Just wonderful, hard to find any minus/negatives, only that we could not stay longer and that water in the swimming pool was colder due to "mistral";) But to name few things we really enjoyed: quiet and nice rooms, own terrace, superb breakfast but first of all super nice staff. In reality the place was much more nice than on photos.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was just perfect! Nathalie and Cyril were such welcoming and friendly hosts and took really good care of us. Very spacious room with privacy, the beds were very comfortable. The accommodation was beautifully decorated, with a lot of taste. The room was very clean. The garden was amazing! Every corner of the property was a sight. Breakfast was delicious. Had a fantastic stay! Can’t find anything to pick on. Highly recommended!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and welcoming family-run place. Lots of care and thought in furnishing the rooms and beautifying the gardens. Excellent breakfast. A delightful place to stay. Convenient base for sightseeing at St Remy, Les Baux, Pont du Gard, Avignon.
Cons: Can't think of anything that needed improvement.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is a nice sets of indipendent houses (8, if I am not wrong) in a green "garden" with trees: the garden is well maintained. Staff is very friendly and welcoming and even if their english knowledge is limited they try to make you feel at home and understand your needs. The staff speaks french but the wife of the owner also speaks a bit of english and italian. They also have a good knowledge of the surronding and they will direct you to see the nearby cities. Our room was cleanly daily in a perfect way. The way you need to follow to get to the reception is filled with small pebbles so even if it raining there are no problems in reaching your car or the reception. The free parking area inside the compound is a welcome extra that I found really pleasant.
Cons: The location is a bit far away from the main route area and the city center: you definitely need a car (or a motorbike) if you are staying in this place. There are no attraction close to the hotel. Breakfast was fine but I still find it a bit expensive.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything - from location to facilities, but particularly the flexibility of the maisonette with its excellent kitchen. Pool was great too.
Cons: the incessant noise of the cicadas but nothing can be done about that!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We had a lovely stay, the room was clean and well laid out and the aircon was a blessing! Breakfasts were excellent and relaxed. The pool was ideal, part shaded and always clean. Overall a great experience!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Peaceful environment with a large garden, lovely pin trees and pool. I enjoyed the configuration of the mazets, very private. Only a few KMs away from St-Remy. Hosts were super friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to stay again at this property.
Cons: Nothing!

Pros: The host and his wife were TERRIFIC! Not only were there local brochures about, our host prepared a recommended list of places to visit and explore. He tailored this to our interests and time frame. The breakfast was very good with home baked goodies....and homemade jams. Very yummy. Fresh flowers on the table, table nicely set, very clean facility. The grounds were beautiful.
Cons: The temperature so that we could have enjoyed the pool and the many sitting areas around the grounds. Our host couldn't control that. For the facility, the shower was a little on the small side and may have been difficult for a larger person (something to consider when booking the one room; other rooms may have had a larger shower - ask the host and he is kind enough to give guidance).

Their accommodation is beautifully decorated and was outfitted with a fridge, microwave and kitchen supplies. The grounds even had a lovely swimming pool and hot tub. Olivier was amazing! He greeted us with a drink and gave us so many good recommendations for places to visit, including spectacular locations that we didn't know about! This was our favourite accommodation on a 3 week visit to France. When we left, we felt like friends as well as guests. We hope to return!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed the stay at Marie's place a lot. Marie and her sister in law, Annie, are very welcoming. Once we arrived, Marie greeted us with orange juice and showed us around. Her house has a nice front yard with reasonable parking space. And a backyard with a lovely swimming pool. The house is in gated area and Marie provided us with a remote control. We feel safe parking and sleeping inside and convenient to go in and out without having to bother her. The room itself is way beyond my expectations. I booked a deluxe double room and I ended up getting a well decorated suite with living room, bedroom, vanity room, bathroom. Breakfast was just amazing!
Cons: There were some flies in the front yard. Might be because it's summer time and the neighbor has a horse so we could understand.

Pros: A very tastefully decorated period property. It really was a pleasure just to be in the house. The room was very clean, a good size with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was great. A good shower with decent shampoo and body wash. Big bathrobes to fit all sizes. The guys working there are lovely. They really care about your stay and the property.
Cons: There’s no parking on the hotel grounds (it’s too small for that), though parking was available less than 100m away. The breakfast is a good quality continental breakfast. They also cook something each day (e.g. pain perdu, pancakes). However, some fresh French pastries wouldn’t have gone amiss.

Pros: Especially liked the gathering area. Since the evenings were cool there was always a fire in the fireplace which made it so cozy. They also had a great commercial grade coffee/espresso/cappacino machine you could use anytime.
Cons: It rained quite a bit and puddles pooled on the drive is. Would be nice if they graded the drive.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff really nice and helpful. Good place to enjoy time and relax with family and the dog. Really quiet. If I can I'll be back there as soon as possible.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable room in a quiet, peaceful location with pleasant host and hostess. Excellent breakfast.
Cons: The B&B was challenging to find - even with GPS coordinates. The property needs a second sign in the side road.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location of the house is very nice. Nicely refurbished old house without loosing its atmosphere. Maybe the owners could have been more pro-active in recommending what to see and do in the surroundings, but we managed well anyhow.
Cons: We had a family room for 4 persons but got only 3 quilts. Also the pillows on the extra bed for the children was not good at all. A/C is blowing right on the extra bed. The extra bed was not really big enough for 17 and 13 years old children. (we did state the age when booking).
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Spacious, clean room. Locqted in a quiet area a short drive to town. Very peaceful.
Cons: Minimal information on arrival and no real interaction from the hosts with suggestions or tips on the local sights or attractions.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is located in a vineyard next to a old castle. Very quiet and with a good view. It is a great place for relaxation, with facilities such as swimming pool and playground for kids. Staffs are friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend it.

Pros: Wonderful property. The home was set up with everything you need. Very clean. The pool is fantastic. Host is very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Some of the rooms got a bit too warm in the summer heat. Staircases are a bit risky with small children.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Emma and Fred are delightful hosts, the breakfast outside is great, the place feels like visiting friends, very relaxed atmosphere, great swimming pool with salt water
7.0 Good
Pros: Swimming pool Outside seating area Access to lounge
Cons: No aircon in main bedroom Occupants of upstairs bedroom have to walk through main bedroom to get to the bathroom which was not disclosed prior to booking and paying 1 waste bin- only in bathroom- none in bedrooms You need to go outside to hang your wet towels on the wash line at night in the dark Steep stairs to access upper bedroom
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Frederique and Emmanuelle. Everything about the Mas de Miejour is wonderful - location, rooms, toiletries, pool, outside areas, buildings, breakfast, tartines, wine, majestic trees, impressive quince, jujube, kaki - but Frederique and Emmanuelle are the real stars, and made such a difference to our holiday. It was a privilege and a joy to stay with them.
Cons: Rien du tout.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location and residence for visiting the region. Nice little villages around within 10minutes drive. Fred and family are really nice hosts making our stay warm and informative. Must have rental car for all hotels b&b in this region

Cons: Too many stairs for my elderly father! A little remote, but lovely all the same!

Cons: There was nothing not to like...

Cons: Nothing!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: If you want to be just far enough away from all the major sights in a nice peaceful, serene location, this is the place. You're 15-20 mins from places like Avignon, Chateauneuf de Pape and other wine regions!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is amazing, the Chateau has stunning views, rooms are spacious and bathrooms are just spectacular. Staff is extremely attentive and kind, especially wonderful Nathalie who was most helpful, and Marie who made our breakfast experience a special one every morning. The terrace and the swimming pool area are just perfect, made for total relaxation. We will most certainly come back.
Cons: WiFi is very slow. It is very difficult to find any area for improvement for this fairy tale Chateau. One idea to further enrich the guest experience could be to start a collaboration with some local toiletries producer, have some artisanal lavender soaps for example.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Brilliant quaint château and active vineyard. Room was incredible with the most amazing, Instagram-worthy bathtub and view out to the vineyards we could imagine. Not a modern accommodation but elegant and refined; exactly what we wanted for the type of experience we had in mind. Staff were genuinely lovely and made us feel welcome. We visited in the off-season so were only guests on one night but since it's an active vineyard during the day it didn't feel isolated (though very quiet at night). Wine tastings onsite and they'll lend glasses and bottle opener so you can continue on sampling their selection!
Cons: Really struggling to find negatives... it was a little bit expensive I suppose and since there weren't many guests it lacked a bit of atmosphere. I guess during the day there was quite a bit of noise from the renovations to the building nearby and the active vineyard, but that's a very minor gripe
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very nice and very quiet place, the room was big, clean and charming, a vine tour and tasting was included (upon request), perfect for couples, we will definitely go back. There is no restaurant on site (just cold self serving breakfast) checkin and checkout are not all the time possible but this was made clear from the place in their very informative email sent us after the booking.
6.8 Good
Pros: Chateau and grounds were stunning. Enjoyed a complimentary wine tasting of the chateau’s own wine. Quiet and secluded spot but within 30 minutes of drive of Avignon.
Cons: Somehow the place seemed to lack any soul with minimal personal contact. Given that the nearest restaurant is a 10 minute drive there was absolute no facilities in the room to make a cup of tea/coffee and no complimentary bottle water provided which we had in all other places we stayed. Far too many rules and regulations!! Breakfast ok but again lacked personal service of any kind. We even had a bread backer with out room name on with our quota of croissants in it!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely fantastic. Delighteful. We enjoyed every minite spent there. Relaxed and beautigul place. Every tini detail is taken care. We took our dinner and bought their wine. Lucile offered us a wine taste just for the two of us. Breackfast perfect healthy and complete. We felt like home.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Property is lovely, staff is great and it's well located: close to a little town where you can find restaurants and many other wineries in the area.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Love everything about the room. Also the winery is so peaceful and beautiful
Cons: The breakfast lady didn’t speak English, the flies and bees are touching the breakfast but she meant that’s what’s left, can’t change for fresh ones which was disappointing. Could be better breakfast experience if the food is clean.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Gorgeous Chateau in the heart of Rhone Valley, close to to Chateauneuf Du Pape, Gigondas and Avignon. A little remote and no staff at night. Simple continental breakfast in a lovely setting, gorgeous rooms and common areas and wine cellar and private tasting thrown in. Very friendly and helpful staff made us feel very welcome. Nathalie was very responsive through multiple queries - Lucille, Marie and Hugo were just so friendly and helpful - and thank you for not leaving us out at night when’s i lost my key!! This was a find - we will surely return.
Cons: Little desolate at night and no staff on site after 6, though very rapid response when I lost my key at night and crisis was quickly averted.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: friendly staffs, beautiful place made my trip perfect! Everything at Chambre d'hotes Chateau GIgognan was inspiring. I felt like i was staying in a true french house :)
Cons: Nothing. Everything was perfect

Pros: Absolutely everything
Cons: Absolutely nothing
5.5 Okay
Pros: The bed was confortable, though nothing else really was as described and expected
Cons: We arrived 20 minutes before 17h and they refused to open the door or pick up the phone call. We were coming from a long drive and were exaushted. As finally it turn 17h they open the gate but everything was dark and not at all as the pictures. Felt like they weren't at all expecting visitors. The spa is just a small jacuzzi in a small room which we had to pay extra althoug she never informed us in advance. Also we had to ask to see the jacuzzi and the room was messy and not at all prepared to receive guest. Wouldnt recommend it.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Mas d'Alaure is a fantastic place to be. Vera the host, is very friendly, kind and a really nice person. Our room was perfect equiped, with beautiful things, which are not so usual as in other lodgings. The room was very stylish, with linen bed linen, coordinated colors for the whole house and very clean. The breakfast was very good, everything you desire, you get it. Thank you Vera and good luck for the future.
5.5 Okay
Pros: - clean
Cons: - smell of sewer during the 2 days inside the room... - they don't do the bed - no shampoo - the shower really lacks power

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Warm welcome by our hosts. Beautifully decorated room. Massive open shower in bathroom. A really comfortable bed like home.
Cons: Nothing really. There are about ten steps to walk up so large suitcases could be an issue. No tv in the room but that wasn’t a problem really. Beautiful place to stay
7.0 Good
Pros: Quiet nice room, gentle landlord, working Internet. Very clean, good mattress to sleep.
Cons: Room austere, cannot sit outside. Just for sleeping. Breakfast at 8:30 too Late for business travelers

5.0 Okay
Pros: Obviously breakfasts are very good - much more than typical French breakfast. Parking next to house is usually occupied but there many others close by. Generally was clean, though on the floor found a lipstick which probably means no proper cleaning before us. Host is speaking good English which is not common.
Cons: There are mistakes in description on booking.com. There is no private bathroom. Only one bathroom for usage of hosts and 2 rented rooms. There is no air-conditioning in the room - only one in corridor so air didn't get inside. Patio was quite small but it would be still ok if possible to use it but unfortunately hosts had their own party often in this patio so we had to find other solutions. Overall we did not feel comfortable at this place which was disappointing after seeing so many excited reviews
