Compact SUV

We had our rental booked the Alamo. On arrival, we were told that due to an issue they didn’t have a car for us (we had requested a mid size SUV - KIA sportage or similar and while we were waiting we saw another customer from Alamo get one). They said that since they didn’t have one they are working with their partners to honor our rate and give us a similar car. I expected a similarly well renowned company - enterprise, budget, hertz. Instead they took us over to one of the local car rentals and got us a SUV with 103K miles on it, poor car alignment, and the check engine light on “which was the case for all the cars”. Ultimately the car served it’s purpose but that was a disappointing experience and the car we got was definitely not worth the price we paid.

Compact SUV

The staff at Hertz in Belize were so pleasant and easy to deal with. The cost was a bit high compared to other options I have used in Belize on past trips. I would definitely shop around next time before committing to Hertz again. Overall, I was satisfied with my experience.

Compact SUV

With a 3 day rental + full insurance , the bill was $440. They held $1440 on my card. I returned the car on time (2 hours early) with no damage. I chose to pay the bill with cash. They said the $1440 hod would be removed . It was over a week ago and there the charge is still on that credit card. Please fix this.
