Pros: Prompt Airport pickup. Friendly , courteous staff. GPS supplied was a nice touch. Was able to leave car at my last night motel which was very convenient. Car was small so comfort was only marked as good, not a company fault

Pros: Its the worst rental car service i have ever encountered. They didnt come to pick me at the airport. I have to book a taxi to the address written in my confirmation sheet but its just an empty factory. I had to book a shuttle to and fro my hotel and cost me double. Worst is the telephone i called them more than 20 times its just go to the machine what a waste of money.
I will definitely make complain to the NZ authorities when i reach home.
I really hope u can refund back my deposit and booking fee thank you
Pros: Easiest and most pleasant airport drop-off ever! Parked the car, then as I walked towards the terminal (which was right there) a guy came walking toward me, asked how my rental was, and took the keys. Done!

Pros: The car itself was clean and new. Handled new Zealand roads very well and was perfectly adequate in regards to space.
Cons: Upon arriving in Auckland we were told by the Budget desk at the airport that there was no reservation in the system under my name. This was not our original pickup location, but they assured us they would be able to see it regardless. After a couple minutes they said they saw it after all at the Penrose branch and told us to catch a cab there. $40 cab ride later the Penrose station tells us that they also cannot see my reservation, that all of the cars like the one I could PROVE I'd reserved on the lot were reserved by other people. They then told me my total reservation for a smaller car would be $350+ higher than I had secured in advance and that I was out of luck if I wanted anything else.
Thankfully upon delivery to Wellington the Budget desk was able to lower the previously charged amount to match my original quote, which is a huge saving grace for me. Unfortunately that still means that I paid the price of an SUV rental for a Toyota corolla.
Cons: My flights were delayed so they gave my booked car away. They had no other car options either. Even though I entered all my contact information in while booking the car they said they had received no contact information through kayak. Very disappointing experience.
Pros: The car was new and clean. The service was NOT good.
Cons: The customer service was really bad - they made a commitment to a certain price and then tried to change it saying you're picking up from a premium location etc. Bad customer service with a care rep called Janita Lou that was completely non co-operative.
