We then asked if we could get our money back being that if someone has specially helped us with our case only being 5 minutes late to check in, but they declined. We had to book an entirely different flight and still have not gotten our money back. It was very stressful and unprofessional and had someone actually helped us, we would’ve arrived at our destination at the proper time we worked so hard for. I know my boyfriend and I weren’t the only people with his problem because two other families ran into the exact same avoidable problem. It felt very unprofessional. It ruined a familys vacation and caused the poor children to cry because of the lack of accommodation. We would love our money back but not sure you guys will even do so. Very disappointing."
Cons: "I didn't make it because the flight to LAX was late and despite being told by an Avianca employee there was a later flight from LAX to PDX (at 11:45 on AlaskaAir) which I would be put on, once I arrived I was told I was on a 6 AM on Delta with no arrangement to get me a hotel or anything. I bought a separate ticket on that 11:45 flight on Alaska Air to PDX instead. Extremely unhappy with this service and will never again use it. I will also tell everyone in my social circles, in person and online, to stop using it."

This new discounted price enabled me to save $100 round trip on board charges. Unlike other airlines that charge $100 Per surfboard, Alaska Airlines has implemented a program that serves the sports enthusiasts. From surfers, golfers, hunters, fisherman, and so on. Our gear goes with us for a fantastic price. Also, the food is actually pretty tasty too & the flight attendants treat you well."

Nowhere did it state that boarding was closed 30 minutes prior to the flight. Bad experience - late night ...small kids... no food or drink available...surley gate person..no notice of the boarding policy...just a very bad experience."

My husband and I had a 20 hour layover in LA coming back from Costa Rica and we asked if we would have to pay another fee to recheck our bag for the second flight. They were very understanding and waived the fee since our overnight stay in LA was technically a layover and we had previously made the whole reservation for both flights at once using their company. Overall we liked our experience with Alaska and would definitely use them again!"

Cons: "Let me just say that I’m a loyal Delta costumer until now. The flight attendants (the two women) were an absolute nightmare. They were so rude and condescending. I was carrying with me my service dog and a bag containing an expensive medication (it couldn’t go on the top bin). Despite being in the comfort class and having the seat next to me empty, we were tight for space. The flight attendants were unreasonable and forced me to put my medication on the top bin despite the fact I had told them it was extremely delicate, that it that to go upright, and that I needed to keep it with me. They did not listen and pressured me into giving them the medication. The medication could have easily gotten broken. Thankfully it didn’t but this is no way to treat a human being."

There were obviously not enough Delta workers on staff to process all the flights at that time."

I can only surmise that they had already given away our seats, which were award tickets, GAINED BY BEING A LOYAL DELTA CUSTOMER. The gate agents were unapologetic and useless at rebooking, and I bought a ticket from Southwest instead. As i was trying to get to my sister's wedding, and repeatedly told the agents this, their behavior was particularly abominable. DELTA, YOU'VE LOST A LOYAL CUSTOMER."

Pros: "This was a nice experience for a fairly typical airline. Meaning, not Emirates, Qantas, or the others that are supposed to be top-notch. To be fair, I haven't flown them, I'm just thinking of things I've heard and read. The seat was fine and typical as far as leg room and reclining goes. The food was what you'd expect on an airline (it was fine, but I don't despise airline food). The crew though, was wonderful. Really. Friendly, welcoming...I bothered one attendant a couple times for more water as I was very thirsty, and then asked for a beer after the beverage service was over. Often flight attendants will act as if you're demanding a foot massage or something, but this particular guy was very nice. All of the crew that I interacted with was just lovely."

Cons: "One of my bags (which had gone missing for 24 hrs on a previous COPA flight from Chicago to Panama) had items missing when it finally arrived in Belize. This WAS NOT theft but rather some rough handling causing items to fall out. This I understand will be down to the baggage crews and not the airline itself."

Cons: "Poor job in the gate at boarding and with announces, we were held in the the runway for about an hour plus without proper indication of why, all the could say was "bad weather". Non-stop turbulence and food wasn't served until good 3 plus hours into the flight, (remember to add that to the time we were held at the runway as well). Entertainment on board was extremely limited."

They motioned to a place where I was to go to get ticketed, but A BLINDPERSON TRYING TO FIND A LOCATION? READ A SIGN? IN SPANISH? Once a wheelchair was found,things got a little better. All went much better when flights left directly from David. David is manageable. Tocumen IS NOT. The flight crew to Belize City was ok. Trip to Panama. I messed my connecting flight because, once again, THE WHEELCHAIR was missing. A stewardess led me to the location, but by the time we got there, the flight had left."

Pros: "I had a seat toward the front, so I boarded early-ish, which went smoothly."
Cons: "Seating was incredibly uncomfortable. The bottom cushion was worn down, so my butt was sore after just a three hour flight. Also, my neck and back were in pain after getting off the flight. I am in my 20's and don't really get sore neck or back, but the seats were just that bad. However, I did have JUST enough leg room even though I am 6'4". I'll probably avoid this airline in the future just for the horrid seats alone."

When I got to my seat, I found out that they do not recline. DO NOT FN RECLINE. The lady forgot to tell me that. With lower back pain, I was extremely uncomfortable, in fact I could ot sit still. Horrible flight. THe stewardess could not help me, they said flight was full. I told them of my back pain, they didnt care, nothing we can do. THen I asked for a pillow and blanket so I can support my head. I was told there was a fee for a pillow and blanket.??????? I said ok since I was looking for relief, and comfort. She came back saying she was sold out. WTF"

Pros: "I was unable to use the ticket from LAX to MSP due to a death in my family!. I had to book another earlier flight with another airline to get home to a funeral. Unfortunately, Sun Country didn't have a flight back to MSP the day / time I needed. When I contacted the regarding my cancelation they refunded my money, no questions asked!"

Announcements were informal - really felt like we were on a training flight. Staff wasn't helping people with bags or to find their seats like other airlines do. Maybe this more relaxed atmosphere is why the prices are lower? If so, that's fine with me - but doesn't seem like you're gunning to attract more business or be anything other than the airline in between the disgusting model of Spirit and the lame cost-cutting of major airlines. Like, innovation is only possible via dissension, and I'm sure your business is having the same troubles with idiot senior leaders as every other US corporate business is, but if you're going to ask for feedback, the feedback is stop being so blah and stand for something other than your Board. Plenty of ideas out there - stop being so pro-short term profit and start having some fun!"

He is 6 feet 8 inches tall, luckily there was an open exit aisle seat an they upgraded him without charge...otherwise would have been a horrible fathers day for all"

Cons: "They nickel and dime you to death - $8 for an "entertainment device," no food at all (not even a bag of peanuts!) and grouchy flight attendants who talked about "them" (the passengers) who wouldn't obey their direct orders quickly enough - in loud voices in the aisle.... Fortunately it was a short flight."
