Proximity to local attractions; especially the theme and water parks. Although limited in terms of equipment, the children's club activities and enthusiastic / attentive staff made up for the shortcomings. Lack of storage (cupboard / wardrobe) space in the room. No onsite gym/spa facilities
Great hotel at a great location !
The staff were extremely helpful and the breakfast was great. Rooms were large and comfortable for a family of four. There were numerous problems with the airconditioning in the room. As it was summer, the room was very hot, especially during the night. Also, for a non-city hotel, the 25 euro per person charge for the buffet dinner was exorbitant. As the main reason for staying at this hotel was its proximity to Gardaland Theme Park was a bit disappointed that the road to the theme park was a gravel dirt road which was a good 15 minute walk. The walk on the main road was shorter, but of course extremely dangerous.
The closeness to Gardaland amusement park Quite expensive.
huge rooms, excellent pool and great location. nothing on the TV was watchable for the kids, nor us.
Double rooms are big and include also Sofa. Breakfast was really good for both adults and children. Location is vey good, close to Gardaland and Movieland.
nothing special yes, please allow the guest to stay his 24 hs... disappointing
Excellent location, great pool, lovely staff, fabulous breakfasts. Slightly expensive and rooms need a little updating.
Garda lake and Bardolino
The pool is still ok, nice town within walking distance from the hotel. We have been in this hotel 10 years ago and it looks like nothing has been done to the facilities, the hotel needs renovation / face lift. Some of the staff did not pay any attention to the customers, reception was very nice and helpfyl though. There were lot of things available at breakfast but you did not know which of these you really could eat.
Location, Location, Location, superb service, good food, fabulous swimming pool, loads of good restaurants close by, and tghe hotel does not rip you off with extortionate prices when you are there.
The position was convenient for all facilities
Room requested was a double, got a twin, room, smelt of smoke although requested non smoking, electricity went off 3 times on first evening. Vacation of room @ 10 am to early as breakfast did not finish until 10 am.
The pool area. The complimentary Prosecco, mineral water and Limoncello. All of the rooms were smoking rooms with twin beds which was not clear from the website. The rooms were dark and stuffy and the whole hotel was in desperate need of modernisation.
we liked best about the hotel the location room facilities the breakfast was ample bar prices were good in general we loved the hotel. i think the waiting staff couled be a bit more happier .
The place was spotless and the staff were very friendly. The location was perfect. Bardolino was beautiful Italian village and just a 2 minute walk away. The decor was alittle bit dated but this did not impact on our stay.
Excellent services and facilities. The best hotel in Riva Del Garda. a few (but pleasent) minutes walk to the town center, internet is not free.
The hotel has pleasant grounds, appears to have a good range of facilites, and the breakfast buffet is reasonable. The standard rooms are of low quality with plastic chairs, table, and furniture and have a general air of shabbiness. They are certainly not up the standard expected of a 4-star hotel and the high price charged. The desk staff are generally unconcerned and unhelpful.
The location on the lake was breathtaking and the superior room was spacious. I was shocked that I was unable to get anything to eat at 4pm due to all cafe bar restaurants closing between 2 and 3.30pm.
Very clean. Great restaurant. Great breakfast!
good hotel, very clean. the stuff was very nice, speaks english, good breakfast. 10 min walk from the center. the spa is good, we had a massage. the indoor pool is not for children
The beds were super comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. Both swimming pools were great. The staff could have been a little friendlier.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent cuisine. Spa facilities good; room very comfortable and hotel gardens very pleasant. Nothing.
What a wonderful hotel, well run............great large rooms, spotless We wold prefer to have been down on the lakefront
The spa was very good The welcome drink. I am not used to that thus wanted to have a drink after dinner (outside). Upon showing my voucher they said that there was another card for those drinks which obvviously did not have what I wanted. I was a bit irritated with that. Offering a better chouice would cost an extra 3 to 4 Euros. Wh not do that? Or just stop offering the welcome drink completly or give the drink upon arrival. Small thing but...
the view of the mountain i make a reservation for a matrimonial bed, i get a 2 bed room, the room card didn't worked...
A good clean modern hotel with lots of facilities available.
Overall very positive Breakfast average, could do far better on the fresh fruit
Very modern, clean and tidy room was very small
Overworked staff with poor attitude, poor quality food, self service buffet no al a carte menu available.
Good, comfortable, 4 stars hotel. Nice staff, private parking, bike parking, swimming pool and good restoran
modern smart clean rooms air conditioning not working first 2 days. Breakfast was not good
Hoteliers are so arrogant and rude to guest. i never ever exprienced such kind of people.
Good area with nice facilities
New and clean room, relaxing spa. Although there are no restaurants nearby (please note this hotel is middle of nowhere), but there is a reasonably priced restaurant in the hotel. We enjoyed staying in this hotel very much.
The hotel is new, clean, with modern facilities. Breakfasts are good meanwhile the supper (one was quite enough for us) is overvalued as quality/price ratio. Internet service is perfect, both public or using personal pc. Spa facilities are almost perfect. The supper (one was quite enough for us) is overvalued as quality/price ratio. Important suggestion: it's quite difficult to find hotel in dark time of the day, no visible signs on motor roads at all.The hotel is not in Lazise town, it's on way from Lazise to cola'. Strada delle Greghe is out from Lazise town.
Very clean modern spa facility and indoor pool. Good buffet breakfast. Quiet. The outdoor relaxing area and pool (not a genuine swimming pool) is overlooked by every room of the hotel and therefore feels very uncosy.
New place, good breakfast and nice location near by Lazise old town. Only wiered Internet, I couldn't use my iPad or iPhone for Internet.
cleanliness of my room was perfect'
Hotel spa in general, personal, services, free internet access, food, Hammam and sauna didn't work the first 2 days so facilities were not efficient
Suite (and every room) is romantic, bathroom is big with shower very confortable, pool is nice with space out for summer, many couples outdoor, view around is not beautiful
Very nice (new) hotel with a excellent Spa facillity
Calm, quiet atmosphere, friendly staff with ability to speak English.Top class facilities in the spa and wellness certre.Very convenient to Lazise, waterpark and other activites. No
Relaxing atmosphere, great facilities. Loved the spa area. My husband became a spa believer! The outside was not very appealing, but it is newly opened and will surely improve. The location was a bit surprising at first being a few kms from town, but was ok and quiet.
Staff were all friendly and helpful. Well organised around the resort and good options for treatment at the spa We booked a room with a balcony. Turned out, the balcony was just below ground level and of no use whatever
the reception staff were the most unwelcoming reception staff we have ever met.The hotel was too far away from the nearest town and the shuttle service to the town was innadequate. We had to wait 45 minutes for a taxi. The hotel has no atmosphere. At the weekend the staff struggled to keep up with service at breakfast time.
I liked the spa very much. The only thing i didnt like was the fact that there was only 2 english speeking channels on the tv 1 was CNN and the other was BBC News, i would have liked to have wached a film in english.
the king bed and the bathroom
The facilities, location and helpfulness of the staff were all excellent. We would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Very good hotel,Great location. lovely rooms and facilities
We were treated very well by the very helpful and mannered staff. On arrival we were upgraded to a lake view room which was fantastic, a clean and modern, spacious room with all the facilities you need. The pool and garden are kept meticulously clean and the general standard of the hotel was very high. Highly recommended. A small issue but the proficiency of English spoken by some of the reception staff was quite poor and sometimes we had to ask to speak to somebody else.
Spa Huge size of the hotel and the distance require to find things
Nice place. Clean, with all facilities for good relax.
very pleasent, helpful staff, relaxed enviorment.
The staff were very friendly and helpful the room had good views, the sound proofing was also very good, well built hotel
Staff were superb, extremely helpful. Room and all facilities very clean and well maintained. The sun terrace was lovely and quiet. The bar was very good value. The rooms are pretty small. The first one we were given was absolutely tiny with what was effectively a shared balcony (one large balcony which had been divided into three with thigh-height metal railings, so there was no privacy at all). My main problem is that the walls are paper thin. Short of actually joining them in bed I couldn't have been any closer to the people in the next room and their nocturnal activities. On one day we actually heard two cans of coke being opened in the next room.
Good location close to beach and good pool.
The free bike use was very useful, and the location is ideal for watersports, and is within walking distance of Riva town. Lots of good restaurants nearby. Modern design was nice, and good internet access and helpful staff with good local information. The sauna and steam room were nice too. Nice balacony with lovely views. The colour of the rooms were very dull (battleship grey!), and the wooden floors in the rooms were very noisy.
View of the lake, parking was good. Too far to walk to the main town area. this hotel is surrounded by pizza bars for mountain bikers with little choice for anything else.
The hotel interior is clean, sleek and modern with a minimalist feel to the decor. Staff were helpful and cheerful without being over bearing. Only ate breakfast but it was of a high quality, however, if you must have your chocolate or coffee HOT then you will be disappointed. The room was clean and comfortable with a shower. The balcony area was large and had a side view over the marina towards the lake. Parking is limited but if you get a space then it's not a problem. There is underground parking but again spaces are few. Hot drinks at breakfast could be hotter!
Modern decoration, breakfast ok, clean, close to the beach small room, distance from the centre, location by the busy main road, table reservations at the breakfast in the best tables
Beautiful & clean, pretty good breakfast - almost no complaints! Rooms aren´t very soundproof.. Also, would be nice if the hotel staff could somehow limit the use of the internet from kids who sit and play (loud) games for hours (and their parents don´t mind). I would have needed the internet but couldn´t communicate with German kids.
Hotel was very modern and very very clean, would use again
Very nice hotel: Nice rooms, breakfast was great, garden was beautyfull. Staff was friendly. I can't find anything negative.
I liked the design furniture and excellent rooms (suites). The hotel staff do not all speak English, but try their best. The description as Wellness Hotel is misleading. The Sauna is very small, the pool is simple and no relaxation places available after sauna visit. Too weak for a 4 Star Hotel. Price wise too expensive.
The hotel was brand new so the accommodation was top quality. Good position - very quiet & relaxing but only 10 mins walk from the town. Sunbeds always available around the pool area. Pool could have been open longer - it closed at 7pm.
Modern luxurious suites. Bottle of water every day was a nice touch. Great start to honeymoon.
The suites are very spacious and decorated lovely. The position of the hotel is a ten minute walk into Bardolino centre.
What a fantastic hotel we liked the whole experience of the hotel the breakfast was fantastic the staff excellent and the rooms are fab.
The hotel was excellent - even though the pool and spa was closed the staff opened it all up for us - excellent service and very enjoyable.
Excellent food, indoor pool (weather was cool), locality to interesting towns and lake. No room service.
Privacy was excellent and quiet good; services inside the structure are rich as the site is apart from the Bardolino village (about 800 metres) that you can anyway reach on feet: NO
The nature pool was wonderful. Quiet and peaceful with gorgeous view of the lake. Breakfast excellent with great choice and a special hot dish every day.Rooms were also quiet and comfortable ensuring a good nights sleep
We enjoyed our stay very much but we found poor pressure on the shower in our room and water was always cold unless you were willing to rise before 7.15am to use the facility. We did report same on our first morning and noone got back to us.
Staff Sauna, swimmingpool was opened only till 18.00 a clock
Excellent view, super clean spacious rooms, bed very comfortable, so were the pillows, good air conditioning system, pleasant staff Water in swimming pool was quite cold; walls are quite thin and you can be woken up by noisy neighbours
The hotel was excellently situated close to the village centre.Staff were friendly and polite. Facilities were excellent.
The views, the access to the Lake and the surrounding countryside, the facilities offered by the hotel. The proximity to the town. The spaciousness and comfort of the hotel bedrooms, with their balconies and views. The overwhelming presence of Germans and the German language within the hotel. In Italy, I was anticipating an Italian hotel: however within Hotel Ilma, one could easily have assumed the hotel's location to have been in Germany. All greetings were initially in German e.g. "Morgen" and "Abend".
The staff were very helpful and considerate, particularly the restaurant and bar staff who were excellent. The rooms were very nice with lovely views of lake Garda. The terrace and both the swimming pools were lovely places to relax at the hotel. We had booked a panaoramic room and were placed in a very nice room but the view was obscured by trees growing right outside. However, when we raised the matter the staff were very helpful in placing us in a better room.
It was all good, I would stay there again and I will recommend this hotel to friends and family
Clean and comfortable. Location is good as it is close (within walking distance) to the town centre and to my conference place. View is wonderful.
service was excellent staff very very nice The purpose of the holiday wa to relax after my partners illness. The air conditioning had been turned off, this affected my partners health so we had to cut our holiday short as the air conditioning could not be switched back on. Pity as a nice hotel but a very expensive none relaxing holiday for us.
The receptionists had great english and were extremely friendly and helpful. They organised buses, dinners, taxis etc for me. The breakfast was great. The only thing they might need to improve is advertising the price of the evening meal served & also pricing on the mini-bar in the rooms.
The hotel was very good with excellent facilities, quite expensive but worth it. The hotel staff were very polite and attentive, everything you would expect from a top hotel. There was no hot chocolate for my daughter's breakfast!
Keep in mind that 4 stars in Italy would never be 4 stars in Germany, Austria or Switzerland...
An evening buffet dinner was served from 7 to 9 pm. The food was very good. The hotel was situated on a busy road roughly 8 minutes from the town centre and the lake. The hotel "theme" and design did little to enhance the hotel and would be more appropriate in an urban enviroment like New York rather than near spectactular italian scenery. Although the towels were changed daily, the bed sheets were not changed until we requested they be changed on day four of our six day stay. Our superior bedroom was situated to the rear of the hotel overlooking the swimming pool, the car park and a very big factory nearby, also a view of the surrounding mountains. The price we paid for our six night stay was expenisve and we were disappointed with the location of the hotel.
Had a very pleasant stay at The Feeling Hotel Luise. All the staff were really helpful and very efficient. The food was outstanding. The location is perfect, short stroll to town centre and to the lake. Would definitely return to this hotel if ever in the area.
The quality of the hotel, the suite was very comfortable, pool was excellent, just right for families. Very quiet interms of noise, lots of things to do. 10min walk into town.
The whole experience
This was one of our best holidays ever. The staff were superb and dealt with many queries efficiently and freindly e.g. one of our suitcases went missing at the airport. There are extensive facilities and a private beach. Our room was superb and we had a fantasitc view of Lake Garda. A good hotel for familieis with children - lots of acitvities - although good for the older couple like us. We really missed coming away and will recommend to all our friends. No faults at all
Dinner was excellent in quality and range - so many dishes to choose from. In retrospect, I would have preferred to have been closer to Limone itself as there was nowhere to go for an after-dinner stroll.
We enjoyed our stay very much. Nice activities for the children. Good food and helpful staff. They even arranged gluten free food for my wife and daughter which is not usually easy to get in southern Europe. Floor tiles in the swimming pool area were dangerously slippery after rain. Not safe for children.
The food was lovely, the staff were friendly and the hotel was very clean.nothing bad to say! We also got upgraded when we arrived, cant complain!
Location, full service
The Garda Lake Mass tourism at its worst. Unsatisfied with the quality, we have cut our stay two days shorter (5 nights instead of 7, the hotel tried to charge us for 7 nights, finally they have charged us for 6 nights. Nice example of corporate greed and shortsightedness.
Hotel staff very friendly, animation staff very friendly and lovely, we had an incident i n the middle of the night water coming through the ceiling and it was dealt with brilliantly, restaurant staff lovely all in all brilliant holiday Only the music at night was not to my taste, but nevertheless we still danced and had a good time
Beautiful surroundings, lots of activities for children, three swimming pools + a private beach. Suits well to families Location of the hotel and the village of Limone is so remote, that car is a must (or taxi, which costs around 27 euros to Riva). Bus connections are unreliable. The so called 'Light lunch' was not at 4 star level, neither the dinner buffet. Lack of free wifi connection. Many of the hotels clients are on a package holiday which has an effect on the service and food. The service was not very attentive neither kind
Overall we were extremely satisfied with the hotel, staff, food, grounds etc. Villa Lucia, Location of the room was ideal, being down by the lake. Very quiet at night, but obviously not during the day being right next to the steps and public toilet. Room was not perfect and although kept very clean, it smelt very musty and damp. Noise of the internal fan (not air conditioning) which we could not turn off, kept us awake. Bed was not comfortable. TV reception appalling.
Fantastic location on the Lake Garda, superb views. Excellent location for water sports - windsurfing, yachting but also for walks. If you travel from Austria to Italy is a very good place for an over-night stop. Designer room and very spacious for three adults. No heating in the rooms (it was October and quit cold), but is the Italian law to switch on the heating only after mid-october. I couldn't see any a/c either in the room but I supose it doesn't get very hot in summer as it is practically in the mountains. We also had a leak at the bathroom sink wich they couldn't fix being on a sunday.
Very nice staff. Large rooms
We only been there one night. Everything was excellent, also the surrandings of the hotel. If we will go to Verona again, we will certanly stay in this hotel.
I liked your spa / relax facilities, size and the comfort of your rooms, your gardens, etc. No Internet facilities in the rooms. Internet connection limited to the reception area, and is payable. Charging the usage of towels and swimming caps at the swimmining pool.
Spacious room, nice breakfast room. The brochure shows the building where the restaurant is located which is an ancient villa, however the real hotel is in a new building, quite boaring. This has been misleading for us. Internet no free, pool robe and towels available for rent.
Good location, clean rooms, good breakfast. Noisy room, very poor soundproofing.
The room was very large and comfortable. The spa has 4 indoor pools, one just for lap swimming. The outdoor pool is an incredible 43 meters long and heated to 28 by termal waters. Beautiful!
Food and wine is excellent, Near Verona and the arena. Nice pool area good breakfast, very good service at the front desk
Very elegant, sophisticated hotel. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent. Super leisure facilities - the indoor spa area was beautifully constructed.
space, elegance, facilities
Very nice place, helpfull and friendly staff. Beautifull spa free of charge for guests of the hotel, except for saunas. Everything went good. Located near a lot of good places to visit, like Parco Sigurtà. I will come back.
