Pros: The property was located in a quiet residential area but easily accessible. Island Lake Conservation Area was a few minutes walk or drive away. Our hosts Eileen and Sam were welcoming and hospitable- nothing was too much trouble. The whole house was immaculate and Molly’s Suite was spacious and comfortable. Eileen’s cooking was outstanding and her breakfast something to die for. We have no hesitation in recommending this proposal which is probably one of the best B&Bs that we have ever stayed in.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: The room was great, the property was gorgeous, the hosts were very welcoming and the breakfast was delicious. The only reason I gave 3/4 for the location is that it's a little off the beaten track. For us that was part of the fun, but people looking for a place to stay near a town wouldn't like this. It is a bit of a drive to the nearest restaurant for lunch or dinner.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were so pleasantly surprised by this property. Not only were Jim & Audrey absolutely lovely, but the food was incredible and the place itself was lovely. The property was decorated with antiques down the the final details, but had all the comforts you'd expect of a luxury place. The garden was lovely as well - we enjoyed reading outside and watching the bunnies in the garden. The place was also walking distance from restaurants, shops, and trails.
Cons: Just a note that the windows don't open - but it was so pleasant to sit outside that we didn't mind at all!

Overview Reviews
With a stay at St Andrew Suites in Fergus, you'll be steps from Lake Huron and a 4-minute drive from Wellington County Museum and Archives. Featured amenities include express check-in and express check-out. Free self parking is available onsite.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Bed was wonderful. Cold water tap didn’t work on tub. Would be nice to see out the window but couldn’t with the patterned glass. Adorable room and loved the ceiling beams.
Cons: Cold water tap needs repair in tub. Normal tv choices should be available. It only had Netflix and YouTube.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The location and the cleanness of the room.
Cons: Air conditioning unit to loud. TV don’t work. Noisy when the restaurant open.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Interesting overnight stay. We never did see anybody for check-in, etc. More like an AirBNB, we guess. But our instructions were clear as to where to park, how to access the room, etc. Room was very nice, quaint, clean. No cable tv, but Netflix was installed. Fergus has a few nice places to eat, for sure, but we chose to snack in the room. Tim Horton's across the road as well. Nice little escape. We will return.
Cons: Can't think of anything. Maybe no ice available?
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Cute room in central Fergus. Very clean and comfortable room with a welcoming feel. Staff were great at answering any questions or concerns we had prior, during, and after our stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Charming, cozy nest! Lovely bedding, towels. Fireplace adds to the comfort and ambience. Pretty architectural details. Bar fridge, electric kettle, heated bathroom floor, big shower, mugs, wine glasses, tea and coffee, Netflix, wifi...everything we needed for a restful weekend away! Walk to everything- riverside walkway, historic downtown with shops, pubs, restaurants, lovely old homes on tree-lined streets, hiking,...short drive to Elora. Wonderful Italian restaurant below!
Cons: Nothing!
9.5 Excellent
Cons: Would have liked a more welcoming parking area. The driveway is long enough to allow for a designated guest sitting area outside with tables and chairs.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice room with a fireplace. Netflix to watch your shows and directly downtown for convenience. The owners are very nice and happy to answer any questions or concerns. An Italian eatery down below with awesome smells coming out!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is fantastic. Fergus is a beautiful little town and the Suites are perfectly located to explore all the town has to offer. The Suites are located in a charming building, with quirky little architectural details that we loved. The exposed beams are gorgeous. Having a small fridge in the room was an added bonus.
Cons: We would have loved an additional chair. We spent a bit of time in the room relaxing and having a pre-dinner beverage. With just the one chair, one of us had to sit on the bed. Blackout curtains would have been helpful to help reduce light and possibly curb some of the heat, thought the AC unit was working continuously to combat the hot temps. We weren't able to get the kettle working unfortunately. There didn't seem to be an outlet that would support it.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location, helpful staff.
Cons: Sofa bed and AC!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very charming
Cons: N/A

Pros: Good location, excellent breakfast, comfortable beds, friendly staff
Cons: wifi only worked for the first day :(
6.8 Good
Pros: The staff were friendly. The room itself was fine. Discount was applied when requested for the matters below.
Cons: The sheets on the bed were so short they didn't cover over our shoulders which I have never experienced before in any hotel. One would think for the price per night the sheets would be the usual length. Staff did not make up the room the second day. Sign was NOT on the door saying Do not disturb. When questioned the staff argued that service had been turned down but that was not our take on it. Was told to speak with the manager the next day but found out the next day he was not scheduled to work.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: When we pulled up most of the driveway is dirt and gravel. Inside the building is modern and extremely eco friendly. All lights come on as you walk through the halls and a/c comes on as you enter the room. King bed was very comfortable with great pillows and dining room served van houte coffee for their complimentary breakfast.
Cons: My husband had just cleaned our vehicle so he was not thrilled with the unpaved area of the parking lot.

Cons: Nice facility. Friendly staff

3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Walk to the casino. Rooms are dirty. Don’t like anything about this place and would not recommend

5.5 Okay
Pros: The room and bathroom were clean
Cons: The bed was pretty hard unfortunately:( we booked about 3 months in advance and unfortunately we could not get a early check in when we asked. We were told absolutely NO way at all was it possible :( as someone who has worked in the hotel industry I know it's possible as not all rooms get cleaned at the same time every day right before check in.

Cons: Strange smell from floor vents. Vents probably need cleaning. Sink outside bathroom. Don't get that at proper 5 star hotels Room already had faulty tv box. Are these things not checked? It was fixed after calling reception
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: This facility should be condemned and not be allowed to be open as a motel. “ it was disgusting!!!!!!!!!”

Cons: Bed was not as comfortable as I remember the last time we visited.
4.3 Okay
Pros: Location was wonderful. The woman who checked us in and out was very friendly.
Cons: Room was very tiny, dingy and did not seem clean. Air conditioner was not functioning well and it was extremely hot and stuffy. The hotel said they had someone in the office 24/7. I had left the phone number with my son - and he called late at night due to family emergency and the man in the office refused to put him through - saying we were "sleeping" We were not. Thankfully I remembered my phone was in my vehicle and when I got it I called my son to check on things - this is when he told me he had been calling and the desk refused to put him through. I will never stay again.

7.5 Good
Pros: The bed was big and comfy nice comforter and curtains. Was great having a fridge and Air conditioning was great for such a hot weekend.
Cons: I was expecting to be able to be parked outside our room but our room back on to a field. It was a bit of a walk for my 92yr old grandmother to get to her room. Toilet was dirty.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Bed was very comfortable, bathroom was clean. The price was very right.
Cons: The windows were very dirty. The grout in the bathroom needs to be redone.

6.8 Good
Pros: Convenient and very good wifi
Cons: The bathroom ceiling had bugs & the window was dirty.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Good location for the event I attended in Orangeville.
Cons: My room was filthy. I arrived late in the evening. I quickly checked everything and went to bed as I was tired from travelling. When I got up in the morning the tub was filthy. ( I could scrape my name in the dirty soap film in the bath tub. ) there were dirty towels in the bathroom. The toilet seat was filthy on the underside. I took pictures and asked the manager Raj to please clean my room. He kept saying he was sorry. I kept saying I wanted money off for my stay. When I came back he or his staff only cleaned what I showed him. I went to open curtains and there was thick dirt on the window sill. I never checked under bed and there was old garbage ( cup and bag/tissue from previous guest). I tried to see him on a couple of times before checkout to see if I could get a discount and no one would come to the front desk. I went back on Monday as I was staying with a family member in the area. I asked to see Raj. He wasn’t in the facility. I asked that he called as I left my number and it was on the receipt and he hasn’t. Because of no reply back to me and try to right the wrong I decided to go ahead with this review.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: I did not like that i got charged more then I was suppose to
6.8 Good
Pros: Check in was quick and efficient, check out even easier as it was just a key drop off; I did like that the room had coffee even if it wasn't very tasty; easy to find location; shower had good pressure and had no major room issues (it could be argued, even, that the hard mattress was good for my back even if it wasn't the most comfortable).
Cons: Mattress was a little hard; bathroom had weird set up with the sink being outside of it; more rooms than parking spots (though I luckily did manage a spot). Coffee in room wasn't great; the door takes a bit of effort as it catches on the floor.
4.0 Okay
Pros: location O.K.
Cons: Entrance to room, fire trap, down long narrow hall
4.3 Okay
Cons: Our room (21) smelled so terribly of cat pee I couldn’t sleep. There was mould. The beds are uncomfortable. Best Western is expensive but you’ll actually enjoy your time.
7.0 Good
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: No
4.0 Okay
Pros: There was a last minute vacancy when I needed it.
Cons: Internet didn't work consistently, one window was broken, and there was a loud lawnmower outside my ground floor room at 8:30 am.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great price. Comfortable bed. Good place for a one night stay
Cons: The hallways and rooms need some TLC. The tiles on the bathroom floor were cracked and the carpet had pulled away from the tile exposing carpet tacks
