Pros:The room was clean and the pool area was surprisingly nice.
Cons:From check in, this place was a disappointment. The gentleman who checked me in was less than enthusiastic. However, he did have my paperwork ready to sign. After about an hour, we had a knock on our door. A scruffy 20 something man in a tshirt and shorts ask who I was. Apparently he also worked for the hotel. I told me that he had us checking out today. I informed him that I just checked in. After we debated this for a couple more times, he did apologize and left. The next day around 3:00, I left the room to grab some ice. I noticed a car outside our room with its door open and two people inside. I got the ice and returned to the room. We then started out to our car and was greeted by a man from the car. He asked if we were leaving. Not sure why he needed to know, so we chatted a bit. Apparently, he had a key to our room and was checking in. We went to the frront desk, where the girl at the desk told me I was suppose to check out today. I showed her my confirmation information, but she still insisted that I was to check out today. After sometime and speaking with another individual, it was finally sorted out. I won't even mentioned the pitiful continental breakfast.

Pros:They serve a decent breakfast; gravy and biscuits every day, fresh cooked waffles, cereals,yogurt, boiled eggs, fruit, great coffee. And most of the staff was great.
Cons:One of the staff was a snot nosed brat that was not helpful at all. WiFi was hit or miss. If you can find the Sugar Loaf on Kayak it's a great deal.

Pros:There were two good things about this place. The guy working the front counter when we checked in on Feb 5 (2016) was very nice and helpful. The other thing is the biscuits and gravy in the continental breakfast were pretty good.
Cons:There were quite a few things we didn't like. We were told all the rooms in the hotel were non-smoking, but ours stunk badly of cigarette smoke. Tried calling the front desk to let them know, but the phone was inoperative. The carpets were filthy and stained. One bed made a large clanking sound anytime you sat on it or rolled over while laying on it. Out of the four clean towels provided, one had a large grease stain and one had, what looked like, FECES on it. When I brought the fecal towel to the attention of the front desk lady on the morning of Feb 7th (2016), she responded with, "what do you want me to do!" In other words she was very rude. I recommend staying away from this motel. I've stayed here several times over the past few years and it has been getting progressively worse.
