For the price and for being a motel, the room we were in was great. It was recently remodeled. The bed was comfortably firm, and the microwave and fridge was very useful. I loved that there wasn't gross old carpet in the room (it was laminate flooring). We didn't bother checking if they served breakfast because of covid.
I think the A/C filter needed to be replaced with a new one. We had to use the A/C because of the heat outside, but it caused our sinuses to get incredibly stuffed up. The shower curtain smelled bad once we used the shower.
Overpriced
Convenient location right off the highway. Also close to Jack's restaurant and a nice coffee shop, which is important because the continental breakfast is a joke.
This would be acceptable as a cheap motel if it was priced like a cheap motel. Perhaps there was some local event driving a price spike, but this was a Tuesday. Staff was not particularly welcoming. Bizarrely, various articles in the room bore logos of other hotels for some reason.
Simple, clean, asd easy to find
I'm a photographer living in Yosemite, so I am usually out all day. When I am in the room I found the hotel to be easy to find, near a local restaurant I like and parking is close to all rooms. Lots of TV channels, and an AC unit that is very cold were also very nice. Overall I think I will return for the fall photo season.
My room was near the janitorial closet which had some sort of phone or intercom going off quite often. The room lights were also a little harder to find and not incredibly bright, but I blame that more on the bulbs than the number of lights.
Bishop is nice little town
Nice town and easy for walk everywhere. Nothing special in this motel. Staff was nice and room was clean. Ok for 1 night stay.
