Pros: Accommodating and friendly host/hostess, even to the point that the host called a restaurant at our next location to make reservations for us and then called us on the road to say that the restaurant we had requested was no longer in business. Host spoke excellent English. The breakfast was amazing, freshly baked bread, homemade jams, yogurt, along with the usual juice, coffee, etc. We appreciated and enjoyed a bottle of local cider that he gave us. Location is convenient to Liseux and Livarot. Would happily stay at this B&B again.
Cons: Not a criticism, just a caution, be aware of the small road sign at the lane. Our GPS using coordinates found the location without any difficulty.
Pros: Extremely nice & helpful hosts. Lovely homemade bread & jams (which you can buy)
Cons: A little hard to find the entrance driveway (unless you know it’s on the main road opposite the restaurant) but not helped by RAC directions which take you into the village 1km away.
Pros: We were going to a wedding at a near by venue! When we arrived we were greeted by the owener, he was so helpful and a lovely gentleman!! He showed us up to our room, we stayed in the sea themed room!! He explained to us that he and his wife cook fresh bread for breakfast and asked what time we would like to eat! We needed a taxi booking and it wasn’t any trouble at all! He booked it for us and gave us the number if there were any problems! Overall we had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend it and no doubt return if we were ever in the area again!!
Pros: The hosts, Roselyne and Didier, are wonderful- very professional & friendly and made us feel very welcome. The room was extremely clean, cosy and comfortable and the breakfast was top quality with home-produced jams, bread and yogurt. The whole property is beautiful. A really lovely stay and highly recommended.
Cons: Nothing - it's lovely!
Pros: Just a wonderful place, peaceful and really exceptional breakfast with deliciously homemade jams, joghurt and bread!!
Pros: Owner and wife very friendly en helpfull
Cons: Breakfast ok but some more choice would be nice
Pros: A pleasure to have stayed with the charming host, good access to the nearby city of Lisieux. The facilities were excellent and as described, a welcoming log fire to meet you in the breakfast room on a chilly morning, cant fault the stay and would certainly book the property again if travelling in the area.
Cons: Only sorry we couldn't have stayed longer.
Pros: This is a beautiful and peaceful place to stay for some days while visiting Normandy. We chose it as it in the middle of cheese and calvados country - and we came to Normandy especially for that. The hosts are very kind and generous. The home cooked breads and home made jams complemented by local cheese for breakfast are a particular highlight.
Pros: Rural location. Unique accommodation, in loft room, external stairs, to loft. Breakfast home made breads and jams. The goat herd of 2! English speaking

Pros: Quaint building and had our own garden area .Chantelle the host was very welcoming and even had a cold beer ready for us on arrival
Cons: Nothing to complain about
Pros: The host was very welcoming, we felt at home immediately. We had our own entrance directly to our room, which was very big. The bed was very comfortable. Very quiet location in the middle of nature. Very good breakfast with fresh fruit salade, orange juice, home made cake, bread, croissant, etc.
Cons: The bed would have been perfect if it was a little larger. The bathroom is also very small but everything we needed was in there, comfortable shower, toilet and tiny sink.

Pros: Very nice hotel, good breakfast, clean and comfortable.
Pros: Very clean and comfortable bed
Pros: The restaurant was excellent
Pros: Very nice and comfortable rooms.
Cons: That the fire alarm started twice in the morning at eight o'clock. It was probably a toaster that made enough smoke to start the fire alarm. Please make the ventilation better.
Pros: Very nice rooms and friendly people that help you wherever they can. Restaurant also very good and perfect service.
Cons: They need urgently to upgrade the internet and WIFI connectivity as also digital TV is not working smoothly and internet is blocking now and then. If they solve this they get 10/10 !
Cons: If you want the windows open the traffic is very noisy
Pros: Very good price/quality / nice diner / helpfull staff
Pros: The food in the restaurant was excellent but the best feature was the staff - especially Chloe ( and I hope that I have spelt her name correctly ).
Pros: Clean and spacious room. Large double bed and very roomy bathroom.
Cons: I did not dislike anything
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean room, with nice little touches; folded towels and sweets on the bed. Bottles of water provided in the room. Reasonable rate for a triple room.
Cons: Whilst the restaurant was very comfortable with friendly staff, the food however was very disappointing. Breakfast was not included in our room rate and was expensive for what it was.

Pros: I had a bad leg, so they were very accommodating and gave me ground floor room. I arrived before check in on motorcycle, drenched from days riding through rain. Instead of making me sit on terrace in wet clothes, let me check in early and cleaned room around me. The French have many endearing qualities, one of which is their biker friendly nature. The Brits assume all bikers are yobs, whereas the French treat us with an equal respect and so to our bikes. The Landlady was most obliging and dragged chairs and tables aside in a small outhouse to provide shelter for my bike, which was greatly appreciated (as the bike was already soaked and filthy, it just stayed out in the rain.). The hotel has a nice garden, good bar and restaurant and although my French was as limited as her English, she was a lovely, busy, no nonsense but thoughtful landlady. Food was good, not outstanding, but restaurant doesn’t pretend to be anything more than honest and wholesome. Very close to station, very quiet.
Cons: No coffee or tea facilities
Pros: The beatuful hotell and peaceful surroundings
Cons: The lack of beer choices
Pros: Excellent clean, large modern room. Simple but sufficiënt breakfast.

Cons: Room not ready, no english, no kitchen facilities as advertised on booking.com
Pros: The building is 200 years old and has a lot of character. It is furnished beautifully, and provides beautiful views of the countryside. Our hostess and her daughter were very accommodating and hospitable
Cons: It was a little tricky to find. You need a GPS for sure. That being said, we loved the privacy.
Pros: Beautiful oldie worldie French property. Quaint bedroom and bathroom. Lots of interesting old furniture. Tranquil location. Lovely lady ran the place. Nice fresh traditional French breakfast with plenty of coffee. Good value for money.
Cons: No drinks facilities in the room though this seems to be the norm in such properties.
Pros: Quiet countryside place with an old beautiful mansion taken care by the family. The hosts are very nice and gentle, but you need to know some French to communicate. Many nice local villages not far for a visit. Thank you very much, we had a wonderful stay in your place!
Pros: Breakfast could do with improvement.
Cons: Language barrier.
Pros: Olde worlde charm Bit like 17th century furnishings Charming hostesses.
