Brilliant location. clean. good hot powerful shower.
The paper cups.
Location in the city. Close to public transportation. Comfortable. Awesome water pressure for shower. Great communication with the property staff even though no staff man the hotel
I thought it was a little bit pricy. Paying for location.
Location fairly central and will be better once the redevelopment work on the square and road outside has been finished. Friendly bar "Le Globe" on the square very helpful to fellow travellers who, like me, arrived and couldn't get into the property.
Arrived to find a locked door and no sign of host! No phone connection in front of the property (which is in the middle of the city). Finally phoned host from a neighbouring shop, was given an access code and told I'd find the key to my room inside. Met other guests who had the same problem! Property is a 'Chambre d'Hote', which under French law must provide breakfast (none available, "works" given as excuse, only "works" visible were on the road and square outside), host must be there to welcome you on arrival, must live on site (never saw hide nor hair of my "host") and must put up room rates (none to be seen). Rate for my room overpriced, and no reduction for lack of breakfast.
We had the worst holiday experience we have ever had. We were never given the code to enter the property. There is no reception and we had no WiFi connection in order to contact the owner. We waited on the pavement for over an hour. Eventually we asked for help from the local cafe who phoned the owner. They were told the room had been ready for 2 hours. We returned to the hotel thinking the owner would turn up. After another hour we again asked the owner of the cafe to phone. This time he was given the door code and told the keys were in the bedroom doors. Later that day we met another lady in the hotel who had had the same experience and had also asked for help from a nearby shop. We are in our 70’s and 80’s and this was very distressing after a long journey. We stayed for 4 nights and never met anyone to speak to about the problem. The door code and WiFi password were in the room.
Location perfect. Could leave laguage before check in. Good WiFi. Clean room. Very friendly cleaning lady even she couldn't any English.
No soap in the bathroom. No glasses, no cups. TV didn't work, after reporting the problem nobody came to check (3days). No coffee. No service staff at the location.
