Cons: We were charged a 100 pounds extra at check in which we brought to their attention and after getting in touch with booking.com we were refunded after a few days
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location and the hotel was comfortable and the meal we had in the restaurant was excellent.
Cons: We were told that we had been selected as ‘guest of the day’. This was a near worthless honour and so created disappointment and therefore did not add to our experience. As an example we were told that the mini bar was complimentary but but the contents were laughable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location at the airport, easy to get to by free train. We enjoyed the late checkout and were able to have a leisurely breakfast and read the paper - a perfect break in our journey home. Comfy bed, quiet and dark room makes for a good nights sleep.

Cons: Nothing. Everything was handled unobtrusively and well
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Terrific location for T4 Heathrow. Great modern, stylish hotel - super comfortable beds. The only down side: Air conditioning in the room. The touch pad control is just too complicated - the room was too warm - and I needed fresh air - but no window to open!! Just sheet glass. The air conditioning should be easy to use - on / off / high / low.
Cons: Air-condition operation!!!!!! No window opening!!!!
10.0 Excellent

6.7 Good
Pros: location
Cons: Staff were so slow! queueing at the bar was frustrating! Bar staff also chatted to each other in their own language to communicate about the customers which was a little awkward.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Really easy to get to, even for a very tired traveller. Great for onward travel links via train as well. Staff were really friendly, the room was lovely, the lighting in the hotel is very calming when you're exhausted. Liked it so much I will be moving another airport booking to this hotel.
Cons: Could have a little bit more variety in the cooked breakfast for vegetarians (maybe cooked mushrooms). Lifts are a bit of a pain to use as the swipe card thing doesn't always work well.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very modern and very clean. Good breakfast choices.
7.5 Good
Pros: Easy to access, clean and comfortable room, friendly staff.
Cons: Breakfast before 6am is just toast and marmelade. If I had known before I probably would have booked the room only , without breakfast.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Warm welcome. Ideal prior to flight for comfortable night.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We have stayed here before and liked it for its convenience to the airport, clean comfortable with free wifi and tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Very helpful staff. Their meal deal (dinner and breakfast) is good value for lovely meals. The fact we are repeat visitors assures you that this place suits us perfectly
Cons: Nothing other than a long walk and interterminal train ride from terminal two. But it is a walk undercover away from wind and rain.
6.7 Good
Pros: Convenient for bus services to and from the airport. Price was reasonable
Cons: Despite advertising a good hypnos mattress, the mattress was to soft and sagged a bit in the middle. More than half the channels on the Freeview TV were not tuned in. The TV was mounted on fixed bracket too close to the wall to allow access to HDMI socket for FireTV stick. No fridge/minibar. Wall mounted shampoo/gel dispensers seem to contain something appearing more like cheap dish washing liquid than body wash or shampoo. It was very runny and with dismal fragrance, more fitting of a 1* hotel or campsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All the staff we met were awesome
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Room was sufficiently large and the bed very comfortable.
Cons: Overall is good, but unfortunately having an end room, we found it quite difficult to tow our luggages along the carpeted corridors.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very efficient and polite The facilities were excellent
Cons: Signposting from terminal could have been better
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent plumbing, and the air temperature controls actually worked!
Cons: I don't like the Premier Inn beds. They are far too high, too soft, and try to swallow me whole. I had a backache every morning after sleeping at Premier Inns for seven nights during my trip to Britain.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location, the staff and the room’s cleanliness
Cons: It would be better if there’s a safe and some tissue in the room.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, staff
Cons: Small rooms
The Grove - Watford - Building

9.0 Excellent (2,026 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located in Watford, The Grove is in a rural location, a 5-minute drive from Warner Bros. Studio Tour London and 11 minutes from The Snow Centre. Featured amenities include a business center, limo/town car service, and express check-in. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free valet parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely food - particularly impressive given it was buffet
Cons: Pool closes at 8pm (on a Saturday at least), would have been nice to be able to use it later
9.2 Excellent
Pros: everything
Cons: the power of the water into the huge bath was exceptionally poor.....took an age to fill enough water in the bath to have a shallow bath
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Facilities were amazing - we hired bikes from the hotel (£10 for 2 hours) and went down the side of the canal- a 4 mile scenic ride, the pools were both excellent, breakfast and dinner in the glasshouse were both superb.
Cons: I booked one deluxe and one connecting superior room; both were exactly the same. The description of the deluxe room included a sitting area with views over the garden - in fact if you sat anywhere in the room all you could see was a wall. To see the garden you had to walk to the wall on the small balcony and when standing, at head height you could see the gardens. The picture of the room showed railings not a wall. I learned afterwards that to get a view (through the railings) you had to be on the first floor not the second - we were on the second. The room itself was lovely!
7.9 Good
Pros: Breakfast and facilities are amazing. Pool and spa is very nice.
Cons: Room is very standard for a 5 stars hotel. Looks a little bit outdated.
6.3 Good
Pros: Close to London, easy to improvise for the week end, accessible by train (no need to rent a car). Beautiful old building and grounds (though mostly used for golfing), nice woods nearby to cycle/walk/run. The outdoor cinema is a nice option in August.
Cons: If you are 1) a golfer, 2) a family with young children or 3) a professional attending a conference, this is an upscale hotel with all amenities. If not, DO NOT GO - I will I had known what to expect. For us (30-35 year old couple with no kids) it was not ideal. The pool was busy and full of kids at all times during the day. For the same amount of cubic meters of water I would have had 2 pools, the larger one for kids to enjoy and play in and a smaller one with quiet long chairs away from the noise, for people to relax. Maybe the Spa offers this peace and quiet, but it was too sunny for that. The entire ground were dedicated to golfing, which means 1) lounging anywhere else on the property is next to impossible and 2) walking is strictly restricted to a few paths on the boarder of the property. The week end felt like a quest for a quiet piece of nature. We found it to walk (in the woods/canal outside the property), but not to lounge. All of this would have been ok if it wasn't for the buffet dinner. Maybe it is a thing, I personally haven't had a buffet dinner in a hotel of this standing and price range pretty much forever. Way to kill the romantic mood...If I pay £60 per person without wine, I expect, in London, to have a nice 3 course menu served to my table. The worst is that there were much better options on the grounds that we should have been presented with. I later saw the small, cute restaurant inside the wall garden, with dimmed lights, under a glass roof, quiet and quaint, and I was green with envy. Good customer service starts with knowing your clients: don't have a young couple without kids book for your buffet dinner in early evening without telling them what they are signing up for. This is most likely NOT what the customer wants. Overall, the hotel is fine, so long as you know what to expect. We did not, and there went our romantic getaway...
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The dinner and breakfast in the Glasshouse were excellent, both in choice and value for money. We didn't use the stables or the pop up restaurant in the Walled garden. Facilities in the walled garden are great, really good for kids. The spa was good, although a little spread out over different levels, and for an award winning spa I'd like to have seen a few more steam room/hot bath options, and particularly places to relax and chill out inside for when the weather isn't great. We stayed in the extra wing rather than the main house. It has more of a conference centre feel to it, and is looking a little tired (for example the carpets) and decor. I'd also suggest for £300+ for the night, I'd like to see a separate shower and bath, or at least a shower you can properly stand in rather than against the curved sides of the bath to get under the shower. The rooms felt more akin to a 4 star hotel, and £150-£200 a night rather that what we paid, compared to other recent hotels we've stayed in. Lovely gardens for walking in. We didn't play golf but the facilities look good.
Cons: Facilities in rooms, particularly the bathroom were more 4 star than 5 star. Separate shower and bath please, or at least a bath you can properly stand up in, rather than against the curved sides of the bath. More places to relax inside in the spa please, and I'd like to see more steam room/hot bath options for a proper spa (rather than spa/gym). Overall felt more like £150-£200 a night room, rather than £300+
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wow what a place, we will definitely be returning
Cons: Staff were exceptional, facilities amazing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: everything about the grove is good
Cons: nothing
5.8 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was great
Cons: Rooms was tired Check in was 2 hours late Curtain rod in the room broken and fixed the next day. Major inconvenience
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The gym and pool.
Cons: The bath in the room wasn’t particularly special. It was difficult to get a table for dinner despite being a hotel guest. There were too many cars outside with their engines running. The gym had plastic disposable cups.

6.0 Good
Pros: The reception area was lovely, the greeting from the staff member was lovely too. No fuss getting to the room. I like the decor
Cons: I didn't like having to park roads away from the hotel. I did not like not having a bath in an executive suite neither a sofa. In fact the room was small and the mini bar had two kitkat bars and two diet cokes. The tv wasn't in front of the bed on the wall but on the wall close to the bathroom door.
7.9 Good
Pros: The lady on the bar where I bought my coffee was very helpful. Well furnished room & very clean.
Cons: Location next to busy road receptionist gave me room on 4th floor which in her words "was quieter". Every time I walked down the corridor there were large housekeeping trolleys they didn't seem to move. Room service dreadful called them around 6:00pm no reply rang again 10 minutes later still no reply. Rang through to reception who took my order. Told would be 30 mins nearly an hour later it arrived minus my glass of wine. Would have been better going to the restaurant to eat. They did deduct the tray charge when I checked out but not good service which was a shame. Breakfast the next morning was good plenty of choice & very clean areas staff friendly. Overall good stay but room service needs work. It states 24hr so phone shouldn't ring out. Don't mind waiting for my order if told how long & the order is complete when it arrives. I knew there was no on site car park but it was absolutely pouring when I arrived & left so turned out to be an issue for me. Overall an expensive stay & I didn't feel it was value for money.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All good
Cons: N/A
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, close to everything, the city center, the mall - The hotel is clean, sizable room, and the staff were very helpful and professional.
7.5 Good
Pros: The room, breakfast and the staff
Cons: The hotel was great, but it had noisy guests on Saturday night, Sunday morning. Shouting and slamming doors at 4:00am
8.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff went OUT OF THER WAY to be accommodating, helpful, friendly and generally go "above and beyond" to provide outstanding customer service. Deputy Manager Rob was wonderful as was Ellie and the rest of the staff!!!!!! I also would like to compliment the wait-staff at the breakfasts--they were AMAZING--couldn't do enough for us...every morning and every day of our stay. Jury's Inn is to be commended on their staff training and customer service policy!!!
Cons: The room assigned to us left a lot to be desired. The room we PAID for an upgrade for, was much, much better.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was very crisp and clean, rooms were spacious even with 2 adults 2 children (1 in a cot). Had the best nights sleep as unusually for hotels the bedding was lovely! Normally the divers are the thickness of a 2p piece but these were lovely duck feather soft and full. Definitely makes the stay that much better. Food was lovely, especially breakfast. The staff are also very lovely and attentive and actually didn’t act like you were an inconvenience to them, very nice stay
Cons: Breakfast coffee, would be lovely to have a machine that makes different types of coffee (eg latte, cappuccino) but do understand it’s not as cost effective as a single filter coffee option. Great breakfast none the less
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean tidy rooms, comfortable bed, staff were lovely and central location.
Cons: Cleaners chapping the door before 8am, still asleep and an antisocial hour.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: ALL EXCELLENT WE HAD A SUPER COMFY BED AND A GREAT RANGE OF BREAKFAST OPTIONS
7.5 Good
Pros: Stayed here a few times always have a lovely stay
7.5 Good
Cons: The pillows were a bit too much, like my neck was cranked up. That's my only grumble.. Everything else was perfect

Pros: The room was large and clean. Even we had a room on the first floor above the street, no noise. The bathroom is also large. It is in a working progress quarter, but it's ok and we felt safe. Very close to Watford Junction train station and to the bus stop for Warner Bros Studios Shutlle. We also liked the Starbucks in the lobby!
Cons: I like this kind of hotels!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything really, food was good, receptionist all were nice and polite, ideal location for what we needed to do
Cons: One thing and it isn’t an overly big deal, we was in room 301 which is right next to a fire door, it closes really loudly when people are coming through and the banging each time someone was coming in and out of it can be heard very easily but wasn’t too much of an inconvenience :)
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Rib Eye was excellent, room service itself fantastic. In house Starbucks. On site parking.
Cons: On site parking to be paid for. Low water pressure of shower. Square toilet seat built for Lego shaped people. Carpet frayed and wallpaper peeling from wall.

Cons: Wifi signal is terrible
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We we're celebrating our anniversary and the staff had put a really nice complementary plate with fruits and cakes in our room,
Cons: The staff was excellent, kind & very serviceable. However I think the hotel would benefit from having some local more seasoned staff was well, who can inform on nice things to go do or see in the neighborhood from their own experience
6.3 Good
Pros: My check out was 13:00 to 14:00 it was special request but staff was keep calling since 11:00 nonstop it was really annoying night staff nice very nice day staff really horrible I would never go back there again.
Cons: Comfortable bed, toothbrush,toothpaste.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We were making a family visit and the hotel's location was ideal for our overnight stay. The onsite car parking is convenient and reasonably priced. We had our evening meal out in Watford but enjoyed a good tasty breakfast in the hotel restaurant the next morning. The hotel has a smart contemporary décor in the public areas and our room was well equipped and comfortable.
Cons: Nothing really, the hotel is very good value for money.

Pros: Awesome spa facilities, the whole place was clean.
Cons: The rooms were very hot and no way to control air conditioning. The staff at check in lacked any listening skills or emotional awareness. We requested english breakfast tea bags in the morning as the room had none and the porter delivered earl grey?! In too much of a rush to get to an event to chase. Hotel is right in Heathrow flight path so very noisy for most of the night when the window is open (as room to hot!)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff superb very friendly vibrant atmosphere
Cons: Absolutely Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I was completing in the Thames Path Ultra 100km challenge and had hiked 31 miles to get to Runnymede. I liked everything about the hotel from the great welcome I received at check in, the comfort and facilities of my room, and the friendliness of the bar and food service staff. I left in the early hours of the next morning completely refreshed. I totally recommend this hotel.
Cons: Nothing, it was all good !
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was the main reason we came back to the hotel, we loved the buffet service and gourmet produce available with a view of the river. Our room this time was smaller than our last but equally comfortable and lovely. The dinner was nice at the Lock and Bar Kitchen and the wine was incredible.
Cons: Check out is a bit ridiculous, really dampens the mood on the way out when you have to queue for 20 minutes just to leave. Maybe a different service could be offered? The spa was nice, not enough loungers though and we had to sit on the floor. Also, big groups of regulars walked around owning the place so we couldn't get into the hot tub or into the nice adult only quiet section.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We ate in one of the restaurants. The food was pleasant and good value. The room was nice.
Cons: This is the second time we have stayed and it is a nice hotel. Not a "you must stay there." but a perfectly pleasant hotel with friendly staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Charming staff
Cons: Choice of firmer pillow

2.9 Mediocre
Pros: The breakfast was excellent. The site of the hotel is also excellent.
Cons: The room was tired and in need of considerable renovation. Parts of the bathroom were dirty and had been repaired badly. The in-bath shower mat was truly disgusting. Being underground, the room was musty. Signage in this hotel is impossible. As is parking. even getting to a spot where you can go into the hotel and ask for a parking spot, took a few rounds of the block.

9.2 Excellent
Cons: Queued for a long time to check out and room was very not even with air con on lowest setting. Other than that - great
6.7 Good
Pros: The bed was huge and comfortable
Cons: The breakfast buffet was huge but not of very good quality. The coffee and hot chocolate were even quite bad. The showerhead in our bathroom was moldy even though the rest of the room and bath was quite clean. For a Hilton I found this unacceptable though. Another detail were the missing buttons to call an elevator. The covers on some were missing... details, I know, but they conveyed an overall impression of “we don’t really care about this hotel, we’re only working here”.

Oxford street they charged you extra but this area is good for big brand cheap shopping. Room and lobby, pool sauna , sky bar all perfect Just they need to look at their breakfast which was very bad.
Cons: First of all, the reception guys they are not well behaved, but those who works at night they were good. Breakfast was bad, please dont waste money on that, same breakfast menu everyday.

Cons: At check-in and in the room information binder it says that the Executive Lounge is open to 9pm. However, the hot food and alcohol was removed before then. Someone did come round (at 8pm) to tell us this was happening, so we immediately went up to get a snack and a last drink, only to find that all the hot food and alcohol had already been removed.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was excellent in all respects, a special commendation to Angela on reception who was very pleasant, and very professional.
Cons: The fact that booking. Com cancelled my original booking then booked the room for 2 nights as opposed to 1 night when all I wanted was to add a night to my original booking. By cancelling the original booking, I was charged for 2 nights and the 1 night. Being overcharged by £72.90. I did receive a refund from the hotel but it took a while. NOT IMPRESSED WITH BOOKING.COM
3.3 Mediocre
Cons: The key card did not working meaning I had to walk all the way back to the reception which was a fair walk with heavy bags. Staff already knew there was a problem as another guest had to do the same thing 3 times! Appalling the way they dealt with situation. And they put two beds put together to make a ‘double’ which was not stated and when addressed staff were rude and condescending.
