Staff, rooms loud, pillows too soft, woke up itching every morning, toilet paper super cheap, tub was dirty, forced to eat at expensive eateries in hotel, no other cheap eateries in the area due to casinos smothering the area. I would not recommend this place on the future unless you have a lot of money to waste and like to gamble till 3:00 am and stay drunk.
could not contact the front desk ever.. kept getting told to leave a message on a machine.. that made it difficult to get online or get questions answered about checking out
Nice room. There was a TV in the bathroom mirror and a walk in shower.
They charged an extra $17 "resort fee" when we got there.
Large room with luxury linens. Beautiful view of the riverfront from the 21st floor.
Resort fee when we only spent the night for one night and didn't enjoy the amenities.
Rooms and bathroom were large! Free parking. Comfy beds.
Smelled a little smoky. Must have been a smoking room at some point.
When I asked for a disabled veterans discount for my second night the clerk told me 'They don't care about veterans, they care about reward club members'.
My room was also downgraded the new night I stayed.
Clerk was not too friendly. Could not find my reservation at first she said because I used a third party. Hotel.com. I did not stay second night but could not get a full refund because hotel.com said The Horseshoe keeps giving them the run around. Will not stay there again and will not use hotel.com again.
The size of the room was excellent! Large tub and very comfortable.
The room didn't get very cold. Only down side to the stay.
Room was nice, clean and comfortable.
The drains in the shower and sink were very, very slow to drain. Am very upset for being charged over $400 due to reservation that was made on error on their part. All I got was sorry! Rates are 3 to 4 times higher on Saturdays. Even though I book 2 days and was told a way different amount amongst other incorrect information I was given over the phone upon making my reservation. I drove 3 hours and was told something waaaaay different.
The staff was friendly, polite, and helpful.
I do not understand with the "resort" charge. Those "extras" should be included.
Room was spacious and clean. Hotel is right off of I20 and easy for travelling. If you want non-smoking, make sure to specify that when you book. The smoking floors REEK of smoke.
Awesome room at a low price!
Big clean room, inexpensive, great entertainment, ate at 3 different restaurants while there and food was great.
The walk from parking garage to hotel was long.
It was ok. Couldn't beat the price.
Said they were out of the king size bedrooms. I said that it wasn't acceptable because it was available online. So then one magically appeared but it turned out to be the handicapped shower room with Luke warm water.
Comfortable room, clean bathroom
Front desk attetion was horrible, checking has always been easy in other hotels/casinos, she never looked at us directly, asked for form of ID went to the back, asked for credit card, didnt give me directions on where to go to find my room, just gave me my passport and card back the to the rooms.
Room itself was nice, spacious & clean - friendly staff
BOOMING music - I had headphones in with Netflix playing turned all the way up and I could still clearly hear the booming music. Great price on the room, but not worth the savings with the lack of sleep that we got.
Hotel is beautiful front desk room service and bell men were very helpful and pleasant
The burger restraunt was rude and the food was mediocure
