The staff very friendly and the free internet in the room.
Clean, comfortable. We hear the sound of lift from our bed room all the time as it located next our room.
Windows were open 1cm and nailed there! the room was on a main road where the noise did not abate and we couldn't close the windows!
restaurant portions were very small for the cost. i think the neuvo quisine approach should be abandoned and larger portions offered.
Nothing I found the staff to be extremely rude, the linen in the room smelt disgusting even after changing the linen it was still terrible, my pre-arrange tax service was always late causing us to almost miss our cruise dinner, my wake up call from the hotel was 30mins late, the food menu was terrible and the food was not great either & i would never reccommend this hotel to anyone.
It was good None
Perfect for short familly trip.
Staff welcoming, hotel clean and tidy and restraunt meal was excellent
Kind hotel Staff, very good, wifi, a nice large clean room, well designed working desk. The location of Hotel is perfect for my purpose(business). It is an expensive hotel but you've got what you paid for, and I think with the same price you get a lot smaller room in the center of Paris usually.I also like the fact that they have smoking room as smokers tend to be discriminated more and more (and at the same time no smell of cigarette at all in the another area The water tmperature of bath and shower is set on 38 degree which wasn't hot enough for me and it can be colder but not hotter. Also the room temprature wasn't warm enough for me to work at night although it may be a good temperture to sleep. I tend to feel cold so for the most of people it would be ok, but I'd prefer to be able to make it warmer(there is a controller but I couldn't make it warmer at night time)
good size balcony, free use of mini bar fridge, big coffee cups, seperate toilet/bathroom, cordless kettle
the hotel is modern and confortable; the staff very kind , helpful and efficient
Incredibly friendly & efficient staff, helpful with directions and local knowledge No bad points
While I only stayed 1 night, I found all of the staff very friendly and helpful I would reccommend the hotel to other business travellers No
A very nice and comfortable hotel in the Paris Boulogne area. It was quiet and great for a good nights rest.
The hotel is very convenient for the event we were attending at Longchamp. Staff at reception are very helpful and all have good English. Rooms are clean and airy.
Friendly stuff, nice hotel in general. At the beggining we were given room 407 with mold and a smell of it. But friendly stuff changed it for us for a clean one.
Excellent check in staff and they were quick to resolve the issues concerning the 3rd bed in the room. Parking was affordable and easy, and the hotel is wonderfully near a metro station. Breakfast was a bit pricey but there are cafe Rooms are small for 3 beds but probably larger than most Paris hotels of this price. The extra bed initially provided was inadequate but quickly replaced.
Hotel was convenient for a festival we attended. Room very comfortable and plenty of space for a Parisian hotel (albeit non-central). Area quiet, parking on streets nearby a real plus.
My overal experience was outstanding. We were treated with such kindness and respect and everyone went our of their way to help us with our questions and needs. The room was clean, modern, and nicely decorated. I especially loved that the hotel accomodiated my request to have an adjoining room with my colleague. The location was perfect as well. We found transportation easy to reach with the bus across the street and the metro just a 5 minute or so walk. It was close to restaurants, banks, and convienient shopping. I would recommend this hotel to all my family and friends. It would have been nice to be closer to the center of Paris, but the metro and bus took us their quickly and for less than 2 Euro.
It was close to the festival site which made the event even more enjoyable. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Good hotel for business. Metro not to far but long way from City centre and train station. Additional charge for Internet and extra for VPN capability, in this day and age Internet should be included at no extra charge.
A good, clean hotel with friendly staff at a good location
Hotel is situated in a quiet residential area of Paris yet has a number of restaurants nearby and train and Metro services are a short walk away. A number of local bars and restaurants unfortunately close for the weekend.
Clean, comfortable, modern, close to Metro, restaurants and shops. Some staff need to be a little less rude and agro. Some extra english language channels on TV would. Wine glasses and a corkscrew in the room would be good - you are in France after all and a glass of wine or two is mandatory. Room service was a little flaky (breakfast included croissants and pastries on day one and dry, stale bread by day four for the same order).
very overpriced for a fairly basic hotel - especially compared to similar priced hotels nearby
great food small, old rooms twin beds renovation going on (paint fumes, dust, etc.)
Friendly and helpful staff Breakfast price was high for what was on offer
Clean, Good location, Bathroom, Bar, Breakfast, Lobby area.
after reading 1 poor review I was apprehensive but need not have worried as I could not fault the staff or the hotel or the breakfasts. All were excellent. The friendly efficient staff in all departments.
I did not like the fact that they charge the credit card immediately upon booking which was totally wrong in spite of their conditions. I did not like the fact that they do not allocate rooms as per your requirements but as you arrive so we ended up having a smoking room when I had required a non-smoking. For the price we paid we had more facilities in other hotels than the Mercure.
quick check-in, big rooms, fast elevators, poor breakfest, too expensive internet
The staff, Paying for Internet
The room was very nice and large. The breakfast buffet was very good and the proximity to Orly was a real assett as it allowed us to have a relaxing time before a long flight
Proximity to the airport and shutle bus No minibar in the room
A pair of bathroom slipper
Location The bedrooms are old (poorly furnished) an the bathroom is not of a 4star hotel.
Location is convenient if you need to stay close to the airport. That was within walking distance from terminal, what really was helpful due to taxi drivers strike that shut all transportation fro and to terminal. Not worth the value. The room was overheated and no way to cool it down. I couldn't sleep well waking up sweating. Staff admitted the problem but didn't even try to solve it. I general I can't really say that staff is unfriendly, but they are kind of distant? Don't really interested to help, it looks like they just don't care. Another example that they don't care about customer convenience is that You can't leave a luggage for safety between the checkout and time you need to leave for your flight.
Convenient location Orly Airport Helpful staff Broken heating - too hot Room generally shabby
It was clean and the staff were helpful. The menu was limited and the charges for the food, both in room and out, were outrageous.
Proximity to the airport. Shuttle bus Strong smell of tobacco in my non smoking room. Very overpriced room!!!
Good romm. Good brekfeast.
The Concierge was extremely helpful, otherwise not up to the normal Hilton standard Cockroaches in the restaurant at breakfast, nasty stains on the couches in the reception area! The faux wooden flooring in the bedrooms is very noisy. No refrigerator in the room.
The dinner buffet and the breakfast selection are quite excellent! I did think it was quite clean and I loved my room. I wish all the hotels I stayed at were as well-maintained as here. I spent so little time here I didn't notice anything that went negatively.
close to metro good for longchamp races
I found the hotel to be comfortable and convenient for the purposes of my business visit. The desk staff was very kind and accomodating. The breakfast room was closed for modification. But such things are necessary, and the arrangements with local cafes alleviated some of the inconvenience.
pleasant staff - facilities/price exactly what we required for the sort stay breakfast was expensive
close proximity to the Parc des Princes specifically but also, it was fantastically located for bars, restaurants etc
It did what i wanted, it was simple and clean, the breakfast was better than i had expected, the staff were excellent particularly the night attendant.
Excellent location close to Parc Des Princes and Metro Staff uninterested
It is really no far from Pier de Cubertan sportrhall The smell in the corridor (like indian aromatic sticks)
good place, nice area , M Marcel Semblat near the hotel , clean but no quiet rooms
Despite Booking, com's information the WIFI is free in the hotel. Hotel could be used as a base for Paris as it is about 100m from a metro station. Basic but fine.
breakfast (although not included in price) comfortable bed small poky room and even smaller bathroom poor value for money
We stayed as a group. This hotel was ideal for us, having a separate kitchen. The location was great only a short ride in the metro The only complaint that we had was the room sounded like the wind was coming through the front door and was very noisy.
Hotel is located a stone's throw from the main Metro line, so it is in a convenient location, however it is in the business district.
Hotel staff is very friendly, rooms are large, location is very convenient even if you want to visit Paris, hotel is close to subway. nothing - all good
the accessibility to the city any and the room quality
Space of the rooms and comfort
clean and the location of hotel
The space no diner facilities
nice and roomy. nice view. good kitchen. Overall, a great stay.
Stayed at Fraser Suite in London, all of us said good. When we come to Fraser at La Defense, all of us say Wow - it excellent. 1. Less than 5 mins walk to metro. 2. Very nice, friendly and helpful front desk. 3. Our 2-bedroom are very comfort (very similar to N. America spacing). It not like normal hotel room in Europe - Fraser here provide a big room. Our 2 bed-room also comes with 2 balconies. 4. Quiet and fresh air (compare to Paris downtown) environment. If travel with 4 or more people, this is the 1st choice - no doubt.
Location, very good breakfast and the space of the rooms. The staff is not very welcoming. the view of the room was very bad.
Convenience of location and siz of the apartment. Plenty of space. Automatic switching on of the air conditioning at 6am every morning no matter whether it was off or not!!!
modern rooms with small kitchen, silent location, good air con, choice of two types of breakfast.
Brand new room, great service and perfect location with good parking.
room service was good quality, prompt and friendly hot water ran out during pouring the bath, and took all night to reheat.no french hotels, even expensive ones, have tea/coffee facilities!!!
I chose the hotel because of it's location.I thought it was really nice and it had a very nice court yard.
Proximity to my business requirements Breakfast was not included, was expensive for what it actually was. Would prefer a hotel with such facility but not a real issue
Actually everything: the location was good , the staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the price was very good.
Excellent location, comfortable hotel. Excellent breakfast
internet was free all of the hotel and rooms the bathroom was very unweather and smelled bad . and if you do reservation via booking.com hotels always give courtyard rooms ,never give the room which good sights .. Windows always look behind of hotel.
location, friendly staff, nice room
close to Metro station, restaurants nearby, pancake maker facility at breakfast, good lounges and business facilities, excellent shower in bedroom. The breakfast range of cereals was limited (no muesli)
Location and service excellent
convenient position for parc des princes
room, bad, location, car parking distance from metro
The service was amazing! Nothing, it was all great
Comfortable room There was no vegitarian options on the menu except stir fry. I was extremely disappointed by this as all good hotels offer a much better range. Therefore, I had a sandwich.
Location perfect for work at La Défense
quite and its location you have to walk through a very long stairs to reach the metro and the grand arch area. there is escalator but it wan out of service for 5 nights
Nearness to the business district. Good rooms. Good Service. Comfortable stay.
Very comfortable and spacious room, good location, close to public transportation, very quiet. Very expensive Internet access - even 90 euros Paris hotels have free internet access !!!!
The staff kindness and professionalism. The room quality. Nothing.
a spacious room, nice bathroom, fantastic bed. the staff are very friendly and nice. breakfast: some pastry items were not fresh, the orange juice doesn't flow out of the container easily. sometimes the pastry items are not restocked in time.
The location is ideal for working in La Defense. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It is very expensive. I had a hot chocolate which cost €5.50 which is a ridiculous price! And €10 per hour for internet use in the room is far too expensive. I would expect this to be included in the room price as that was expensive also.
Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is great (even thu it is a bit expensive). First, small room was given to me (in corner), even we couldn't fit the my child cot inside. Then,it was changed after several arrgement with receptionest. Check-in time was long !. Escilators out side the hotel are not working. I have to claim 90 steps everytime I go out (with child seat). Internet is not free (expensive)
Check in and check out was fast, the shuttle bus was on time. Don't have much to say since I stayed only for 5 hours. The shuttle bus was a bit ahead of time when we arrived in the airport and was waiting for a pick-up to the hotel, so we missed one and had to wait for another 20 minutes.
We booked this hotel because of its proximity to the airport. The shuttle bus from the hotel runs frequently (every 20 minutes) and was quick. The hotel itself was amazing for the price - exceptionally clean and modern. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were very happy with our stay at the Holiday Inn Orly.
Shettle to the airport. Friendly staffs, hotel quiet, Room clean and large. The room was fairly cold when arriving, did not have time to check if the heating system was on or off, same thing with the bathroom.
The hotel is excellent but not good for the tourists who wants to go to paris centre because it cost you big money and time to move to paris centre.
proximity to airport.courteseous staff.
Room, shuttle service was excellent, staff elevators frequently out of service
a big variety of breakfast , people are friendly, helps you out if you need help, fridge was closed with key ( you have to pay for minibar ) / Tv channels was very less.
Breakfast was delicious Be pulled to secure the value of the room and not taken it back only after two weeks means twice the amount
Very clean, friendly staff, all staff spoke very good english.
Just stayed in the Best Western. I was pleasantly surprised. The room was very spacious, nice and comfortable. The hotel has a shuttle which takes 7 minutes to the terminal from 5 am to 11:30 pm. The hotel is in need of some remodeling, but overall nice. The staff were friendly. I stayed before at a different hotel in the area that received a much higher rating but liked the Best Western much better. It is mostly for business. The hotel can use some remodeling, the corridors feel dark with poor lighting.
near the airport with free shuttle service no porters and bell boys and front desk should tell guests that they must use room key for elevator use
it was easy and comfortable, the location was good and easy for the city either by taxi or train. Very expensive, but so were all the other Paris hotels that day!!
Well designed and furnished , 5 minutes walk from the Metro, placed in scrapsky quarter - nice to see 1-2 times. Restaurant in the lobby is very expensive and has very small choice of the meal. Breakfast is usual one but also is rather expensive. I also may recommend to the hotel concierge not to use this taxi service that they ordered for us. We wait it 30 mins in the lobby and we sited to the car - it was already 22 euros. I asked driver - why - he said - "its no problem, I won't charge you additionally" - but finally he did.
the comfortable bed No
It is close to subway, and rather quiet on weekends. The bedding is excellent, very comfortable. The route going to the hotel by car or taxi is so winding and takes a lot of turns within the district before reaching the hotel. This is due to the public traffic planning in La Defense, perhaps.
the location the internet not free like other 4-star hotels in paris
clean, and helpful staff The hotel entrance was close during my stay, the car parking should be free but they charge 20 Euro per day
Fresh, clean, modern, simple Shower leaked under glass door - no lip to stop flow, duvets are too hot even with air-conditioning on high fan
Room, location good for the sites, all the sites are the metro 1 line (yellow) which is the la defense. The food was expensive and of low quality.
The location is perfect. Now most of the hotels in the world provide free internet service. E.G. Concorde Lafayette in Porte Maillot, Paris
nice design, location, staff no free wifi, no body milk, breakfast could have been better (no boiled eggs)
the junior suite is spacious. the espresso machine, the bed. near a big shopping mall. Quite business area. It is a bit expensive. the conceirge (unintentionally) mislead us when we ask him about rent a car company in the city.
The room is relatively big The staff was cheating. The some of the facility do not work, I ask them to repair, the staff replied ok but did nothing.
hotel is new, clean & comfortable overall - large room with convenient desk - WiFi access free bed not really comfortable - WiFi access clumsy
The hotel has self-contained apartment-like rooms with Fridge, Microwave and utensils, etc. It is a quiet neighbourhood and quite close to a Metro station for city trips (15 minutes ride into city-centre). The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel reception is closed between 11 PM and 7 AM, which can be a problem if you arrive late in the evening. also, You can not call an outside line from your room, even though the pamphlet in the room claims so. There is no restaurant attached to the hotel.
the hotel is new, has good facilities. The fact that it comes in very handy kitchenette. It also has a coffee machine. Was only missing the hair dryer
The services that provided is good and having high flexibility on alternation
Convienient to work Don't stay there
Location in old town centre
it was convenient for the meeting I had to attend The lift was doing an extremely disturbing screeching sound on the way down. The first room I was given was right beside the lift, so it was impossible to sleep. I asked to be changed and it was done, but I had to pass one night in this room.
location and hospitality TV
The Area. Although it is a small hotel and the room was small as well, but comfortable and clean. Twin Rooms just a bit too small for two people.
Very nice personel and location straight on metro Breakfest is poor not valuable for money charged (12 Euros)
Very Conveinient for our local needs
Convenient to train station and in a nice area of the city.
nothing staff no english spoken
Close to business place at that moment. Parking is available with reasonable cost. Wall is thin, so I could hear noise made by neighborhood. Floor was creaking when I walked around my room. Breakfast was not ready at the time of start but fully charged.
