Breakfasts and dinners N/A
Beautiful beach and clean water of the sea, pines near the beach, quiet atmosphere entertainment for adults is absent
Very close to the sea, beautiful village, great for walks in the evening. The room was quite noisy due to the A/C generator oside of the hotel so the balcony door had to be closed.
Very clean water, nice beach under pine trees and it is in 1 min from hotel, plenty cafes, bars, restaurants in Brela for evenings and some also with live music, spa center in next door hotel of the same chain A bit noisy in the room, very plain interior, broken hair drier, drinks are very expensive in the bar
Good location. Very bad smell in the room. We complained, nothing happend.
... i booked a seaview room, but they gave me another, the internet is only in the reception and only until 10 o clock at night, there were living way too many tourists, there was no place to sit on the beach...i was very disapointed...
The room is big enough, great view of the sea from the balcony, close to the beach. The shower could be better.
The location of the hotel is excellent (a few meters from the beach), hotel facilities were very good, hotel staff friendly, very clean rooms. The food is excellent (buffet style) and menu changes from day to day, so you don't get bored. I would recommend the half-board (with dinner), it is well worth the extra 5 Euro/pers. Brela is a fantastic beach resort, enjoy !
the beach front location, quite large rooms with sea view balcony, great breakfast...very clean rooms we had dinner only once, but did not really like it, the restaurant was crowded, not a great variety menu. The entertainment for kids not enough for a seaside resort - minidisco only 2-3 times/week - once a fashion parade, 2nd time 20 minutes max! then bye-bye. did not try the mini-club.
Nice hotel, beautiful sea and mountains, live music 3-4 evenings per week, quiet and friendly atmosphere, friendly staff
Hotel has a great location. The beach is great. Indeed many steps to the sea, but come on, this is still very OK. The reception staff was very friendly. Parking was easy to find, although not mentioned on the website. Food was good with a variety of choice. Generally great hotel. Could be somewhat cheaper. Croatia becomes overpriced. The room was cleaned poorly. WiFi should be everywhere and not only in the lobby. It also could be free.
Staff were really friendly and helpful. Place is really relaxed, a great get away from everything. The two small villages are within walking distance - Baska Voda more touristy and Brela a bit more quaint. The spa is at the sister hotel was about 20 minute slow walk along the beach and worth visiting.
Sea, staff, animation team Mattresses, carpets in the room, prefer wood or tile on the floor
Nice location, nice gardens, very close to a decent beach, plenty of space for running, swimming, hiking around. Getting luggage in and out is a pain, due to lack of elevators and long distances to outlying wings. Rooms a re small and the halls have a sterile and cold feeling. It's a hotel made to make money, not memories.
it is the best place to stay with a baby
the garden was beautifull, breakfast very good corn sellers on the beach need to be removed away
The hotel was in an idealic location, close to the beach. To reach the beach there are lots of steps to climb.
Very nice people, but too many stairs! Not for babys.
The staff were so polite, helpful and pleasant this made us feel very welcome and we could not fault the service. The hotel was as lovely as we had hoped and we shall certainly return asap!! What would make it even better would be if part of the restaurant was open in order to have breakfast outside
The location close to the beach and in a pine forest.
The design of hotel, affinity to the sea, the sympathetic personnel was pleasant. Choice of dishes for a breakfast poor. Only eggs.
Everything was fine. There is no drug store in the hotel or near.
The best th.ing about this hotel was that we left early next morning Folks don't get fooled, it's officialy a 3* hotel with flyers and references of an expensive 4* hotel. We arrived late at night and we had a very disappointing surprise: no available parking, ugly but lightly cosmetised entrence with 3* on the door, a discrete smell of old comunist cantina. The room was appearantly ok but... mattrasses were unbearable; not to say about the hair that we found on the sheets and on the table. The "seaview" was "great" - you can hardly notice the water because of the trees. Breakfast? What a joke... everything had a funny smell and taste of extremely reused cooking oil. All of these for the price of a 4+*or a 5* hotel in a nice locatoin....and btw, your pretty much in the middle of nowhere.
I liked the location and facilities. Staff was friendly and attentive. Breakfast could be more diverse, but yet was quite fair. Balkony was too small to my taste. Access to the beach should be more straight and shorter. Attendants at the pool should be more strict towards people coming from outside and undisciplined youngsters.
Modern, well equipped rooms, close to the beach and downtown restaurants and shopping. Great breakfast food selection. Does not feel to busy even when fully booked (except for parking). Lack of free pool and/or beach towel service, difficult parking around the hotel when hotel full.
breakfast outside with sea view and quality of the food was excellent (breakfast and dinner) the quality of the beds/matrasses should be better, it was not comfortable for longer stay
Beautiful nature, hotel was renewed and the room was really beautiful, though the restaurant should be renewed A.S.A.P. Loved the spa-great massage and the pool...great breakfast...
The location in one of the most beautiful place of the croatian coast, the Makarska riviera Like all such mass tourismus hotels, the hotel is noisy, people are noisy
A beautiful area with access directly to the promanade and beach area. Pool area are delicate and well maintained.
location, rooms, cleanliness reception staff were a bit rude at times and didnt fully understand what we were saying which made it difficult
Excellent hotel facilities such as indoor and outdoor swimming pool, very close to the famous Bol beach. Hidden charge: there was a fridge in our room inside which were few drinks; water and wine. I assumed they were included in our room since there was no sign of extra charge. You see free drinks in some hotels and I assumed it was like them. At the end, I was asked to pay for the drinks I had from that "mini bar" in our room! Finally I paid extra 85 Kuna.
absolutely loved the layout of the hotel and its location. Loved the bowling. The staff were very rude. I kindly asked for some cutlery to be brought up to my room but was rudely told to come down to reception to get it myself. Then had it delivered to my room anyway. When checking out I asked for the total cost of room instead of a break down and was rudely spoken to very unprofessional. Staff definately need more training on customer service because its a great hotel in a fabulous location. Thank you.
Good location close to the sea, many tennis courts, friendly staff. The standard double room is a bit small.
I loved the gymnasium and spa facilities. The bowling alley with the pool tables was good entertainment for the evening and the nightclub although quite was nice to have on your doorstep particularly as you could not hear the music even fromt he lobby. Situated just on the promanade made it quite romantic and also gave me a great place to do some running without looking too hard for suitable area. The beds were extremely comfortable and large and it was fantastic that we could defer the room cleaning until later in the day so we could relax and not have to rush out of our room As i pesonally like to run before breakfast i would love it if the hotel breakfast ran until eleven in the morning to allow me to do this and eat afterwards, but no problem. I would also like the wifi in the bedrooms to give me privacy to skype
The location is perfect, and the hotel has everything you could want for a relaxing holiday as a family or a couple. The staff are very freindly and helpful.
We had a great stay. The rooms were really spacious & the bathrooms great. We have absolutely nothing to complain about. Only wishing that we could stay longer than 1 night.
Fabulous beach Zlatni Rat - 500m away. There is also a beach next to hotel. Not in the city center, but quite close. No wireless internet in the room, only at the lobby
I enjoyed staying at Hotel Elaphusa. In fact, this was one of those vacations where I just wasn't ready to return home. I appreciated the affordability of the hotel. I thought the rates I found through booking.com were very fair considering that this hotel has a lot of amenities. We were very close to the beach and not far from Zlahtni Rat Beach. My husband really enjoyed the hotel gym, saying there was quality equiptment to use. I enjoyed the spa, indulging in a pedicure and a massage. We also used the Kids Club to have some time alone during our stay. The staff is great with kids and my daughter loved it. I wish the kids program was longer than 1 and a half hours, but it is free of charge. Best of all, we really enjoyed the hotel dinner. The buffet was really big with a huge variety to chose from. We knew that breakfast was included in the price of our stay, but we were not charged for dinner either. Breakfast is decent, but not as elaborate as dinner. Overall, I feel like our family really enjoyed this hotel stay and we would most definetly stay here again. We didn't like the way the air conditioning in our room worked. You had to have the sliding balcony door closed in just the right way or the air conditioning would switch off. I can't tell you how many times my husband got up and had to try and fix it. He was very frustrated by it. The beds were the typical two doubles pushed together. I'm not sure if they had wheels or if they just slid on the floor, but they kept sliding apart, making it difficult to snuggle. I also felt like the staff at the front desk was a bit rude during check-in and check-out. Perhaps it was the language barrier.
location, view, nature, beautifull cost no
Beautiful location, clean room/bathroom, very good breakfast buffet (and dinner) - we had the nice surprise to book park-side view room and get a sea-view one for same price :) only slight minus: some furniture/wooden parts might use some repainting/restoration and elevator looks from another era - but except these details, there is no 'hidden tricks' in their presentation photos...
The hotel is very comfortable, with a very good location on the beach, big parking, has a good value for money, very clean, staff very kind, the meal good and diversified. Internet only in lobby.
Everything apart from below Nice hotel but shame that there weren't more sunbeds and umbrellas round the pool area - most were "reserved" early on in the morning - luckily the beaches were beautiful. Also there wasn't really anywhere you could enjoy a drink at the hotel and a lack of eve entertainment for adults.
In spite of the fact that I was there at hight season the hotel was very quiet, clean, with very good food and good staff
The staff were excellent and the owner very kindly collected us from the village on our arrival & took us to our next resort after our stay (he reluctantly accepted money for a drink!) The bathroom could do with upgrading.
Very nice location, good breakfast, peaceful and silent area, good beaches and amazing pine trees and blue sea. Apartment that we stayed has a roof terrace with a wonderful view on the park and sea. This hotel has also a good restaurant for dinner.Friendly staff, definitely recommended.
Perfect location for beach and short walk along promenade into town for evening dining. Good choice.
The cleanlyness of the blue matresses on the sunbeds were not done! Colud be a lot better.
Our Apartment was smaller as expected and a bit old fahioned. Apart from that we had some fun at the pool and the service was good. The Entertainment Crew does a really good job!
have to walk 5-10 minutes to Bol but uts a nice walk. the see is half a minute away and there is a kids friendly pool at the hotel
both location and facilities -
Fantastic hotel with fantastic setting. Very friendly staff. Near beach. Very good food. Lovely apartments. Very relaxing and quiet in comparison with the mainland hotels. A lot of stone steps wich was a bit dangerous for our toddler and the mattresses were a bit too soft. Ferry was very busy so we had to wait for the next one to get to the island.
The hotel staff was very helpful, people at the reception were very nice and spoke English, Italian and German very well, so there were no comunication problems. The rooms were OK, not very large but large enough for our expectations, and they were extremely clean. The food in the hotel retaurant was excellent, there was also a very good restaurant on the beach near the hotel. The surroundings were lovely - the hotel is situated in a wonderful garden and is very close to the beach. We've only stayed for 5 days but it was a great experience, especially as we learned wind-surfing - there are at least 2 places where we could rent the boards (with instructor) on the beach near the hotel.
Staff were excellent, hotel is very clean and comfortable, pool area was very nice. Very close to beach and only 10 minute walk to the town centre. Free internet access was a bonus.
Location excellent, the hotel staff very helpfull, hotel very clean, the standard of food excellent and the childrens reps friendly. Nothing I didnt like.
The hotel is good but the food is excellent.
Good location, close to the beach and walking distance from the port area and Zlatni Rat. Rooms are a bit dated, but we didn't spend much time in them. My only complaint is that our bathroom had a strange, unpleasant smell.
Wonderful location overlooking the harbour, friendly staff who went out of their way to be helpful, spacious room, excellent food. Postira itself is delightfully 'untouristy' even in the middle of August.
Nice views Very pooor service, breakfast below standard, this hotel makes it a habit to sell the clients a double room with seaview and when you arrive they will tell you that they are overbooked and try to put you in an apartment. We heard from the staff that is a normal procedure. Rooms very bare and absolutly not 4 star! Never again.
Beautiful hotel, lovely location in a small seaside town away from center of activity at Supertar. Great staff My friend and I treserved 2 double rooms, but the hotel did not honor our reservation. We shared a room. We were OK with that, but wanted the hotel to compensate us, since we did not get what we reserved. The hotel made no compensation, and actually charged us more for the room on a per-person basis thatn we would have paid had we gotten our individual rooms! We were very disappointed and in all honesty, feel that we were deceived.
The location of the hotel is good. The view from the room with the sea view is wonderful. Good beach not far from the hotel. Good restaurant. The shampoo and soap have not been replaced when they've run out. There is some fish smell from the sardine factory.
Very comfortable accomodation.
Excellent hotel, right on the cliffs by the water. Nice breakfast, nice design, good service. I recommend renting the hotel rental car and go around the island, was fun. In the midmorning you can feel the smell from the sardine factory near the hotel, not too disturbing, rather pretty funny.
The staff was really exceptional. The serving staff for meals greeted us the first day and quickly learned our preferences. The would provide the things we usually asked for at meals without our asking after a couple of days. The staff really worked hard to make us feel like 'honored guests'. The room was excellent and very well maintained. We would have liked more comfortable chairs in our room, especially on the patio. Both of us had to do some work during our stay and the metal chairs were difficult to sit in for long periods of time during the day. The couch was nice, but not the kind you can really relax into as it is just a bit short (not in length, but in width).
This is the 5th time I have been in Croatia, and the Lipa made this (among other factors) the best oliday so far. The staff are extremely hard working, attentive and pleasant. We want to and will go back. I have already recommended to others. The sofa in the bedroom is a bit too short.
the swimming pool and the location the breakfst was not up to standards with other hotels on Hvar, Cres or other hotels in Croatia
Lovely room & bathroom
Nice pool and location.
Excellent overall... nice location, nice little pool, silence, clean, stuff is ok, and the value for money is also ok... it was so good that we booked one more night However, the hotel offers breakfast... but very poor and every day the same junk food
The room was very nice, with a balcony overlooking the sea. The hotel was fairly quiet and we had the whole pool area to ourselves. The hotel was about 10 minutes walk to the main town and about 10 minutes (in the other direction) to the Zlatni Rat. The air conditioning was rubbish and so the room was quite hot. Also the breakfast wasn't great.
tha balcony was very good tha breakfast is simple in comparison with other hotels of similar characteristic.
room was clean and comfortable, swimming pool small but fine Breakfast could be better, would be good if fruit and yoghurt was offered
great location very helpful staff close to zlatni rat
Room was kept very clean and air conditioned.
The staff were very friendly and the hotel is very well located to the restaurants and beaches. The website actually doesn't do this hotel justice, it is very beautiful and much nicer than the pictures portray. A very nice surprise!
Nice outside area, with lovely but small pool. Lovely views from pool side, close to centre of Bol. No view from our room. Room could be very dark.
The location and the view was excellent We did not have warm water for the majority of our stay. The owner did nothing to compensate this real inconvenience. Would not recommend this hotel!
The hospitality of hotel´s staff.
The staff. Some breakfast items (such as ham etc) that should be kept cool are not properly cooled. Selection is ok though.
staff very friendly, hotel well located, quiet despite central, good swimming pool. Bol is a very nice village on a superb island. breakfast could be improved
