Breakfast was adequate, what I have come to expect in Italy. Would have appreciated more variety, but not a deal breaker. I needed a stop over in Brescia so the location was ideal.
Some cold meats and perhaps fresh bread at breakfast would have been nice but there was nothing I could say I didn't like.
A very comfortable, clean, contemporary apartment: There are three bedrooms on the ground floor of the apartment building, and a shared, spacious kitchen area. Also, a well-kept garden area, though being January I did not go there. Giovanni (or "John") was there to greet me, and was very friendly and helpful - you will see what is his passion from the name of the B&B and of the rooms! As he does not live at the property, breakfast is "self-serve", but with a coffee machine, microwave, oven, etc., and with food laid out or in the fridge, there is everything you need. And the simple Indian-run takeaway over the road serves a very good pizza, and has low-priced beer in their drinks fridge!
Being self-serve, all of the breakfast food is packaged - so no crusty rolls or fresh meats and cheeses - but certainly adequate for most needs. One thing to remember: Within the bedrooms, all of the electrical sockets are "Italian" (most places have a mixture of the Italian and the round European sockets, but you can only use a standard European plug in the kitchen and in the hallway). Giovanni: Maybe you could have a couple of adapters available for your guests?
Accommodation is very nice and sparkling clean, set in a quiet area. Bed felt comfortable for us; bathroom very well equipped. Perfect for one night stay. Breakfast was rather disappointing for the overall room rate - we liked that we had coffee and tea options; otherwise, store bought jams and croissants and some sort of biscuits, bottled juice and fruit yoghurt. I still appreciate their effort, but I felt there was room for better. Very nice and friendly hosts. There is only one parking lot in the garden of the building and two other spots in front of it. Good pizza across the street and it closes at around midnight.
