10.0 Excellent
Pros: Delicious breakfast and hosts were very welcoming.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: If it were possible, I would give 11 points to this place. This is a recently converted and modernised farm. Very quiet place among fields, vineyards and forest. The owner is very friendly and easy going. The room was excellent, with all facilities, including a tea kettle. Excellent supper was prepared from fresh local products. Wonderful breakfast. I did not want to leave))) I would recommend it to anybody and if I come again to that part of the world, I would stay there again.
Cons: Everything was excellent!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Thank you Sophie for a lovely time in your wonderful home; I wish we could have stayed longer. We have no hesitation in recommending Moulin de Gaubourg to others. Regards, Jonathan and Andrea
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect there... we wanted to „touch” French countryside during our tour via France and by visiting the Moulin de Gaubourg our impressions were more than positive :) Beautiful surroundings, nice breakfast, clean, comfortable & pleasant room, very friendly atmosphere :) perfect!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: - very kind and willing to help host - sparkly clean rooms and bathrooms - beautiful, peaceful and quiet location with birds singing in the background - the room is tided up every day - 15 min drive to Angers - sweet white cows in the backyard
Cons: - breakfast consists of mostly bread and was the same every day of our stay. Despite this this was very tasty, just baked bread.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely place with awesome Host. Great Vineyards for walks . Place reminded me of Hunsel and Gretel or something out of Aesops Fablrs
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely location, great room and facilities, fantastic staff. Can't wait to stay again!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Exceptionally friendly and helpful host. Lovely rural setting. Large room with well appointed bathroom. Very nice breakfast.
7.0 Good
Pros: The host was very friendly. The breakfast was great as the host promotes typical handmade products really delicious.
Cons: Not a cons, but more a suggestion for improvement: a little bit more of attention to details, for example, when having breakfast or dinner outside, there were ants on the table.
Le Bignon - Jarzé-Villages - Bedroom
2
9.7 Excellent (47 reviews)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our booking was made at very short notice but the proprietors, Wendy and Peter, were very welcoming, accommodating and helpful. Wendy kindly sat us down with a pot of tea while making finishing preparations to our room. We had the 'red room', which was very clean, airy, comfortable, and full of character and nice touches. The en-suite was roomy with a good walk-in shower. The in-room tea making facilities included bone china cups, which always make tea taste better! Le Binyon has a nice rural setting about a mile from the village of Jarzé and just a few miles from the small town of Bauge, where Wendy made us a dinner reservation at an excellent restaurant. Our stay was made complete by an beautiful breakfast and we really couldn't have asked for more.
Cons: Nothing. Everything was perfect.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property is a beautiful 18c. house. Wendy and Peter are the perfect hosts and made us very welcome indeed. Peter is an excellent chef and went out of his way to cater for our vegan daughters.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Helpful hosts
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great Breakfasts, beautifully presented
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We found Le Bignon to be well situated for an overnight stay on our way back to the ferry at St Malo but next time we would like to stay longer. Our room was extremely pleasant and comfortable. Peter and Wendy were perfect hosts who were attentive and helpful but not intrusive. Breakfast was excellent. We would recommend a stay at Le Bignon.
Cons: We could not think of any way to improve our stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners went out of their way to ensure that our special breakfast needs were catered for. We were welcomed with a much appreciated "cup of tea".
9.5 Excellent
Pros: the welcome from the owners was amazing, the fact that we did have a dog and they made her welcome and she slept in the car.
Cons: May be some more fruit at breakfast time and may be an offer of an egg or something simple. The owners did ask us in the evening but sometimes you don't know until you get up, especially, and as our alarm had gone off at 5.30 am, we were hungrier than normal!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Tea and biscuits on arrival, swim in the pool, and when we asked Wendy where to get supper she suggested that Peter (who was out shopping) could buy us what we needed and they'd set up a table by the pool. Peter returned with baguette, pate, cheese, salad and so we had a delicious meal in the evening sunshine. Perfect.
Cons: Nothing!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The hosts were lovely as was the welcome and the dinner.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were welcomed by Wendy and Peter and had beautifully furnished, comfortable rooms in a tranquil setting. Peter prepared a delicious vegan meal for us and the fact the car trouble had delayed our arrival was not an issue. Breakfast looked beautiful and tasted great and our various dietary preferences were catered for without a fuss. We would highly recommend and loved seeing and hearing the owls.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful b&b well located for wine lovers. The b&b is historic, very green and nice. Alix has her own chickens and the food she cooks is amazing. Unfortunately, the weather during our stay wasn’t very nice, otherwise we would have explored more on foot. Can only recommend this place.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This wonderful, grand old house enshrines so much of what I’m sure most visitors are seeking in France. A great setting, huge bedrooms, magnificent staircase, very comfortable bed, and the very best of breakfasts prepared by the delightful owner for whom nothing seems too much trouble. All the produce is locally sourced, and the delicious and varied jams are made by the owner.
Cons: There was nothing to dislike. It was a thrill to stay in such an historic house.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The house and garden are beautiful, unusual, welcoming and full of history and original features. Modern comforts are all there and still fit with the historic charm. Alix the charming host was so welcoming and anticipated our every need. The breakfast was amazing with fresh juice, delicious home made yoghurts and jams and an abundance of bread and pastries and local strawberries. We also had dinner there and the food was absolutely delicious, all home made and so carefully thought out, a really memorable feast, compliments the the chef. Also both the meal and the extraordinary room were fantastic value. Best place ever, we’ll be back, and will tell all our friends, gems like this are very rare.
Cons: It was absolutely perfect, we would recommend it without reservation
10.0 Excellent
Pros: During our vacation along la Loire we stayed at several different places. Without exaggerating we can say that the highlight was the stay at the beautiful Logis St. Aubin. We simply enjoyed everything: the warm welcome, beautiful room, house and garden as well as the nice company of the host, Alix. Excellent breakfast and dinner, everything freshly prepared using high quality regional products, plus a very comprehensive selection of regional wines.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a beautiful old manor with lots of charm. The owner lives there and works hard to maintain it. Guests are made to feel at home. Take advantage of the table d’hote. We wished we could have stayed longer. Merci Alex. Nous esperons a revenir. John et Sandra
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a unique opportunity to experience an usual property. Alice is a wonderful cook & an evening meal with her a most enjoyable evening. Breakfast was also wonderful chatting with Russian & Italian guests. I am gluten free & Alix made special treats for me. A rare find.
Cons: Nothing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice host and nice ambiance. The property is nicely maintained and has a very nice garden with it. The location is off the beaten track but close enough to the motorway to quickly access all the sightseeing spots in the Loire Valley.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Alex was an excellent host and chef, every meal was a joy and her company certainly enhanced our holiday experience. Local knowledge was brilliant and her command of English was that of a native speaker. Bedroom was huge with a lovely view over gardens and the village.
Cons: Bath / Shower was a bit cramped being in the eaves of the house.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: An impressive period property with lots of traditional features. A very pleasant host with excellent English to help make up for the fact that our French is not as good as we would like it to be. Tea and coffee making facilities in room as well as water provided. WIFI available in room.
Cons: No parking on site although off road parking was found nearby. Evening meal, although creative, was small portions and wine limited despite the €30 cost per person.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: We (a couple) only used ground floor of the gite. Prop. (Alix) friendly, helpful, generous, with fluent English. Beautiful location in grounds of an old manoir in small village of Epiré. Public parking nearby. Private outdoor area with furniture. Exceptional evening meal provided, with local wine (€30 pp) if booked 24 hours ahead. Wifi good Big wide double bed. Full kitchen. Kettle, coffee maker, etc. Washing machine. Iron and board. Towels and sheets supplied. Great shower. Separate cubicle. Lots of usable power points. Nice walk along the Loire. Nearby Behuard beautiful.
Cons: Getting luggage from car to gite challenging, involving parking on footpath, on a corner, whilst unloading/loading. No restaurants/shops handy. No TV Could do with air con. on hot nights.

Cons: Breakfast (7 am-9am) and checkout (10am) were a little early but would stay there again
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very nice renovated old chateau
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We visited 6 hotels/B&B in France during our vacation and this one was the best! It's really a castle! Alive history! Very big rooms, king-size beds, very high ceilings, castle-windows, special princess-table for make-up, big garden... Beautiful views inside and outside. Breakfast was perfect! With alive flowers on tables, fresh croissants and a rich choice of different yogurts, cheese, ham, fruits and others. My friend told just as a joke that there was not his favorite cheese for breakfast, and already on the next day this cheese was on our table! Personal is very kind and friendly. We liked this castle so much that decided to change our plans and keep there for one night more. The price for one night was unbelievable cheap for such kind of hotel! By the way... It's a charity-hotel. They work for children and they spend most part of profit for children. Staying in this hotel it's not only a big joy, but also a good deal. If I could I would give to this hotel 6 stars from 5.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: considering old building the quality inside was excellent. Very modern and clean. Plenty of towels and breakfast was very good
Cons: Reception not manned all the time. Being handed a remote control for the TV which was kept in a locked cupboard and having to remember to return it upon vacating the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was incredible for the price I paid and we had a lovely dinner (made by ourselves with the facilities provided) sipping on wine looking out from the 2nd floor gallery looking out over the Vista. Really nice that the funds raised by the hotel supports looking after people with special needs. Lovely lass in reception whose English was very good pointed us in the direction of the corkscrew!
Cons: There was a film crew at breakfast with a rather annoying young American telling the world that there was a secret passageway in the breakfast room. It was neither particularly secret nor a passageway...it was a toilet! It did provide us with some entertainment though!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Accommodation in a real château, nice location in nature, very quiet and peaceful, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, great price / quality
Cons: No fridge
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely welcome. The staff were really great at fulfilling my request for an accessible room, due to an injury. The breakfast is wonderful. The welcome is warm, and then you are left with privacy to explore the lovely surroundings. We love this place.
Cons: One thing-please if you provided a squeedgee ( dont know the French word- but a thing like a window cleaner on a long stick, with a rubber blade on one end), then the bathroom would be easier to use, as the shower tray is too shallow, and the shower is fixed so that it cant be turned downwards, therefore the bathroom floor floods once the shower has been used. This could be made easier for guests by providing this tool (described above) so that water could be directed easily away from the door and back into the shower tray. Also-thanks for allowing us to take breakfast at 9.30 instead of 9am. We would find it better if the breakfast was a bit later, and checkout a little later too. If breakfast was until 10, and checkout possible for 11 we would be much less hurried. I wonder if this could be by request? It would make a huge difference. Don't let these things put you off staying-these are tiny details, and the place is just lovely.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Remarkable property restored to life as a hostelry. Very comfortable.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Spacious and clean rooms.
Cons: No airconditioning.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great welcome, beautiful walks all around, wonderful size rooms and a lovely setting
Cons: All great. The shower ran out onto the floor- there are issues with water leaks, and shallow sinks/shower tray, but really, the place is wonderful

Cons: The really went anything too dislike about the Chateau de Belle Poule
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast excellent. Location out of the way but not too difficult to find.Unusual venue but very interesting as it was part of an old Chateau.
Cons: We liked it although it was not the usual accommodation and it was not completely restored but it was a charming experience and our host was very helpful and welcoming.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The property is in a quiet position, accessable by a narrow road over a dike along the floodplains of Loire, but certainly not within walking distance of Les Ponts-de-Cé . It is very safe with access and egress by a lockable gate. It has nice gardens with comfortable furniture. The hardworking landlady is absolutely lovely and made us feel very welcome. She told us about all the work they had done since buying the chateau and their plans for future development of the various outbuildings. Our bedroom was beautiful and the aircon worked a treat. The breakfasts and the evening meals were lovely and so was the choice of wines on offer.
Cons: Only a small point, but I didn't like the peacocks freely roaming about the place and the noise they made.
7.5 Good
Pros: Jacuzzi was lovely and the beds were comfy.
Cons: Breakfast was a bit disappointing and cold coffee served.
9.5 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed at the chateau for two nights in order to attend a ukulele festival at nearby St Denis D'Anjou. The owner was most accommodating allowing us to check in early so we didn't miss any of the festival. The chateau was in a beautiful location and the facilities were excellent. The chance to make tea or coffee was much appreciated as was the owners thoughtful provision of a jug of milk to make a cup of tea ! The owner spoke some English and was most welcoming. Merci Michel pour un sejour tres agreable!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Atmosphere. Host explained and provided map to get to a local restaurant as well refuelling motorcycle. Very friendly to bikers with safe and secure parking. Breakfast very good.
Cons: Nothing of significance.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location is fantastic. The hosts are more than accommodating in every aspect. There is a welcoming smile for you with a little history of the place from the owners. The ambience and decor of the place makes you feel almost like french aristocracy. They let you play the antique grand piano but only if you can play. There are lots of antiques and curios everywhere that make you feel like your staying in a period drama from the early 19th century. Like you've gone back in time. Like staying in a french museum for chateau life that is absolutely brimming from wall to wall with something to catch your attention and stir an emotion. Nothing is locked away in a glass cabinet so you can touch everything too. But only if you respect it. The bedrooms are lovely, comfortable and clean. Very romantic. Theres a pool too which isn't like something you'd get in a 5 star Mauritius beach hotel but it's more than good enough. You are provided with your own breakfast room all laid out in regal style which again, you feel like your in Downton abbey. Your also given your own basket with all the picnic items you'll need. All in all, the best place we have ever stayed for welcome, comfort, quiet, peace and ambience. The only modern thing here is the wifi, so if you crave snacks, tv, a bar and entertainment then forget it. Go elsewhere and I'll go here.
Cons: There is nothing not to like. If your fussy about there being snacks available or a tv then you'll be disappointed. But that's your problem not theirs.

Pros: This retirement complex just outside Angers is only a couple of years old and offers superb accommodation and facilities. The place was immaculately clean and very welcoming. Our apartment was on the ground floor and had a private terrace with seating. We had a large double bedroom and a lovely sitting room with a kitchenette and dining area. The place is very quiet and well run. We had breakfast one morning in the cafe and it was good. You can book in for lunch and/or dinner but we preferred to make our own meals. The small gym is free and has a treadmill running machine, a static bike and another bike-like machine. All very clean. The pool is good too and available 8am to 8pm. There is free underground parking. We walked to Terra Botanica and had a fantastic day there - highly recommended a visit.

Pros: The decor and the veggie garden.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location and Chateau are stunnng. Food and staff are fantastic, dining on the terrace on a warm summer evening was magical.
Cons: Air conditioning units were noisy, shower over the bath was ineffective. We were on 2nd floor with our 2 elderly dogs and as there is no lift at the property, they struggled with the steep and winding stairs. It was not stated on our booking confirmation that our room was on the top floor.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were treated as very special guests. All staff we met went out of their way to be friendly and helpful.
Cons: Nothing.
7.5 Good
Pros: Reception staff were excellent; free use of bicycles was a bonus; ambience was great and food was good.
Cons: Hot tub was cloudy, smelly and full of flies - sO we chose not to use it ☹️. Dining room staff were VERY slow - long delays both at start and between courses, and no one to refill our glasses.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff were all very friendly when approached for anything yet not imposing. We were offered a room upgrade which was excellent with a large bathroom and bedroom. Traditional furniture with very comfortable bed. Bathroom had modern fittings with shower over bath and double wash basins etc. Reception areas were comfortable and in main building with nice bar area and outdoor sitting area. Nice swimming pool area and gardens were all immaculate. Breakfast was very good with outdoor seating but maybe a little overpriced at 27 euros but a personal choice. Car parking close to room. Quiet and relaxing quality hotel. Would definitely return.
Cons: Restaurant was a little expensive for my budget but based on breakfast experience probably very good if you like this type of menu. Location is very rural and many of the outside restaurants seem to be closed at odd times. Air conditioning unit vital but very noisy.

Pros: Absolutely wonderful place with its own beautiful little chapel, lit softly with gently reflective baroque music on entering. Impressive heritage vegie garden was a feature with gourmet meals in charming restaurant with terrace. Gorgeous pool and spacious bedrooms.
Cons: The power to the power points turned off when the lights were off, so it could not charge the phone during the night.

Pros: The location was very good. The room spotless. The staff very helpful. Room had good A/C which was quiet in operation. The room had a kettle with tea and coffee.
Cons: It was disappointing to discover that the restaurant was closed on a Monday (which was the night I stayed), I only spotted this after the confirmation email. However, there was a very good restaurant (Le Bosquet) which was around 25 minutes walk away - the walk was very pleasant. Breakfast at EUR14.50 each was over priced with the usual minimal continental offerings.

Pros: Everything was mostly grate, the staff at the reception was extremely kind and welcoming. The place is stunning and we had a great stay. Clean and comfortable, hight security system.

6.8 Good
Pros: OK for overnight stay.
Cons: Don't be fooled by the photo of the lovely building in the advert. That is just the restaurant. You will be staying in an annex that is more like a motor lodge and the secure parking is a fenced off piece of land with an electric gate.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The view from both windows over the Loire River. The room was fantastic and the restaurant top class.
Cons: The parking cost 10€ but our booking suggested it would be free.
6.3 Good
Pros: The setting is perfect. The hotel is just on the Loire bank.
Cons: The rooms we were given were not in the main building, but in a new building. The view from the room was not as mentioned in the room description. However, the rooms in the ground floor have a small but nice terrace. Moreover, one of the rooms was for disabled people which I don't think it is fair since we did not need the facilities. I also think they are a little bit sarcastic since the disabled room was no.13... We asked to be moved but they were not very friendly..

Pros: Liked everything
Cons: Nothing
6.3 Good
Pros: Spacious comfortable chateau. Quiet location. Owner v affable and attentive when around.
Cons: More like being a house guest than staying in a fully serviced hotel. If there was dinner there was no choice. Average quality and over priced. Beds/towels changed daily. Room v comfortable but never given a key so couldn’t lock it. Drinks available but helped yourself and made a note in a book. Shower in our room was unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues - v high step to get over. Toilet in ridiculously small cubicle. We joked you had to back into it. Not easy to find. In the middle of nowhere with poor signposting. V overpriced compared to similar properties we stayed at on the same holiday.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staying in the elegant Château was like travelling back in time. Furnishings were authentic period pieces and the night was starry and full of the sounds of frogs, crickets, and birds. Food was beautifully presented and delicious. Perfect!
10.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great venue and welcoming host, full of history.
Cons: I don't like a separate loo from the bathroom can't wash hands without touching a number of door handles. But very common in France I'm told
9.5 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The gentlemen managing and servicing us was fantastic and super helpful
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Laid back, well located, great breakfast, quiet, well appointed room.
Cons: Nothing
7.0 Good
Pros: The exterior is a traditional townhouse, the interior modern in a slightly eccentric style, with lots of interesting art. The room was simply furnished with a very comfortable bed and a clean modern shower room. Our room was on the back and extremely quiet -- it may be different on the street side.
Cons: It was rather odd that as a hotel there was no access without a key, and no public areas. For instance, we had arranged in advance to meet friends 'at our hotel', so we had to sit at a bar on the street to look out for them as they could not even have come into the lobby. I would say it is more B and B than hotel. But the main problem was the lack of parking. ' public parking nearby, no reservation required' is not helpful. The nearest car park, several minutes walk away, is not signposted, even at its entrance if you are able to find it. From the hotel it is the wrong way down a one way street, and is quite likely to be full. We managed to park a tram ride away, but the experience was almost enough to spoil our visit.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff consists of one person front of house, who also does the breakfast service. Nothing was too much trouble for him. Breakfast was very good. Superb bread and pastries and local cheeses. Parking is 100m away in Rue Bressigny and cost us less than 6 Euros for 2 nights. The Hotel has restaurant that looked very good, but seems a bit pricey for what we wanted at that point. Weather very hot when we were there, but the air conditioning coped very effectively and quietly.
Cons: Room Window full height directly onto street, and without nets, is a bit of a goldfish bowl. So remember before you wander out of the bathroom au naturel. Cold tap, tended to be hot. Aside from the hotel's own restaurant there did not seem to be any decent restaurants in the area. Plan ahead.
7.0 Good
Pros: The rooms are newly renovated and decorated in an attractive, eclectic way and are very clean.
Cons: Future guests beware of the following: 1) no one at reception except between 8 and 11am and 3 and 8pm--make sure you email or call the hotel if you're checking in outside this window 2) a very busy person attending to breakfast and reception at the same time, likely to lead to very slow service in both places 3) non-air conditioned hallways 4) no soap on the sink 5) bedside tables that resemble stools rather than bedside tables 6) no place to unload a vehicle in front of the hotel 7) no guarantee that there will be anyone at reception to help you even during the reception hours 8) noise coming from the restaurant below until at least midnight 9) no dedicated concierge service This hotel has the potential to be truly excellent as many other reviews contend, but the lack of staff for 24/7 desk service and the restaurant make it sure to experience disgruntled guests in the future. Even 2-star hotels have someone at reception for 24 hours. If not, staff make sure that they establish contact with guests beforehand, something that did not happen for our stay. If you elect to stay at this hotel, MAKE SURE TO EMAIL OR PHONE THE HOTEL TO ARRANGE YOUR ARRIVAL IN CASE YOU ARE UNABLE TO ARRIVE DURING THE RECEPTION HOURS .

Pros: Comfortable room. Great location.
Cons: A fan in n the ground floor.
7.5 Good
Pros: I liked the decor!
Cons: It was a bit further from the train station than we originally thought. We had to walk there at 5:40 AM when it was still dark out. There are no Uber’s or cabs in Angers so just a major heads up there!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms are to a high standard. Location is excellent... just a few steps away from Ralliement, the central hub of the city.. large selection of cafes and restaurants catering to the size of your wallet. Staff at the hotel is excellent and will go overboard to make you feel welcome! Beds are very comfy and breakfast is fantastic! Continental but high quality... coffee is excellent! Cannot think of a better place! Will be back...!!!!
Cons: NA
7.5 Good
Pros: Great Location
Cons: BEWARE if you have a car with low ground clearance. The entrance has a dip as you enter with a raised metal locating plate for the gate in the center of the entrance. OF YOU HAVE A SPORTS CAR YOU WILL HIT IT. One of our party broke the lower front panel front trying into the secure parking. They couldn't access the car park and had to leave the car on the street where overnight it got keyed all the way round. Hotel needs to provide a solution (e.g. simple temporary wooden ramp to avoid dip in road would work)

Pros: Very stylish room / bathroom / hotel. Central location and parking availability at reasonable cost. Free WiFi. Super quiet neighbourhood. Very clean
Cons: Breakfast was ok but not amazing. Suggestion to get rid of small packaging - not ecological. Same goes for bathroom soaps. Ok to have no airco but a fan would help during these hot days...
9.3 Excellent

Cons: No facilities for tea/ coffee in room and no bar / room service.

Cons: I don't know.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It was so so hot in the bedroom that I found it difficult to sleep. Reception advised that the a/c isn't enabled until mid June - irrespective as to whether it was hot or not. I opened the window but loads of insects came in so had to close it.

Cons: No restaurant within walking distance on a Sunday night.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The room is one of the best. Clean, tidy, well equipped. Cannot fault it at all. Lovely clean bedding. Warm. Modern.
Cons: We got the manager to phone us a taxi. He did and we where charged 20 euros for a 4 minute trip. The driver got aggressive in his dirty taxi when we refused to pay but we ended up paying to avoid trouble. The same company took us back later and charged 7.90. We told the manager of the hotel. He rang the company but was a half hearted call and nothing came of it. Avoid asking for a taxi. It's also a 50 euro return trip to the centre. Also if you arrive late and want a drink the bar is poor and expensive. No snack machine either. Also the breakfast was annihilated when we went down. We had to make do with scraps. Dont go down late.

Cons: The receptionist who we asked to book an extra night which he assured us for the same price. The next day he phoned us up mid day and asked us why our luggage was still in room and told us to get back to vacate our rooms. When we got back he admitted he made a mistake and told us we couldn’t stay which totally messed up our stay and booked us into a cheap triple room down the road which we would have never even looked at which he didn’t even offer to pay for , his mistake

Cons: Hard to imagine anything.

Cons: We were the only people in the restaurant but there was obviously a seminar/commercial group at the bar. We waited twenty minutes for a menu and my husband had to search out a member of staff to ask someone to take our order. Not impressed. The food was expensive but unexceptional.
