Reasonable standard hotel in a good location
Location at the edge of a beautiful little town with great restaurants. Very basic in presentation and facilities. Some of the electrics were from the amateur school of diy.
Most of all the countryside.
The quiet location and the relaxing sound from the river. The poor meal service in the evening was compensated by the helpfulness of the personnel to provide plates, glasses etc to bring and eat our own food and wine. The perfect location for excursions by car in the wine and food districts in the south of Emilia Romagna as well as the short distance to the Bologna airport. Only two of the staff people were able to communicate in English.
The beautiful spacious room, and the polite friendly staff. If you like shopping it is the perfect location. would have like access to a hotel bar and to be able to sit and have a beverage before going out to eat etc. f
Nice Hotel, friendly staff No bar in the evening
Very central location and friendly staff Decor was a bit dated but everything was spotless and well-maintained.
the room 111 no bar
location, cleanliness and staff current refurbishment, noise was slightly offputting. some seating needs attention or replaced and some choice for english breakfast even if only toast
I cannot say a bad word about the Hotel Vittoria. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and the location of the hotel was excellent. Only a short walk to the centre of the town. We had a very pleasant stay.
Good position in a beautiful building; large room; good breakfast; possibility of parking nearby at no cost (during holidays)
Clean, nice, tastefull interior, staff spoke good english hard bed,
Beautiful 'Old World' feel to the hotel, great place to stay in Faenza
The ambiance of the hotel.
We found this a lovely hotel for facilities and comfort. It was particularly good value for money. The hotel is great for those arriving by car. For anyone else there is neither public transport nor a safe walk path into Faenza. It is a taxi or a taxi!
The fact that it was near the motorway which was the only reason I booked it having stayed at this hotel before. Also reasonable price Room smelling of smoke and oppressive heating. Having to make breakfast tea with lukewarm water. Small cups needing constant trips to breakfast bar. Fixed overhead shower geared to men. No tea /coffee making facilities in room (which are beginning to appear in Italian hotels).
close to the highway exit. ashtrays and smoking smell in non smoking room and they do not change your room.
friendly staff and helpfull
The Ammerican receptionist was exceptional her service she provided to us was just outstanding, we loved our stay and the children enjoyed the internet connections is the rooms awesome,
Friendliness of the staff
The staff were very polite and cheerful. One thing, the hotel called me a taxi to take me to the airport. The taxi driver drove many kilometers in the wrong direction and it cost me 10 euros more than the trip from the airport.
access to and from the motorway was very good. the bedrooms were well insulated against motorway noise. Hotel surrounds untidy and unwelcoming. Room and corridor decor terribly depressing. No coffee making facilities. Steps up from car park to hotel made moving luggage difficult.Room rate was high compared to other better hotels used during trip.
Lovely setting & grounds; but above all an exceptionally good restaurant which was a pleasure to eat at The double row of barbed wire around the edge of it; difficult to find
Both the room and ensuite bathroom were really spacious and very nicely decorated and furnished. The hotel's restaurant, which specialises in seafood was excellent, though a little formal for our taste. Location was good for going to Imola motor racing circuit, and Faenza is a pleasant town. Restaurant was expensive (but very good so probably worth it). It was fuly booked the first night we were there but the reception recommended a restaurant in Faenza and ordered a taxi for us.
We were only there one night and just visited the town.
Free internet in the lounge
It is impossible that the hotal has 4 strats...maybe in the 70s. Old furniture, small windows, very bad breakfast.
internet access not free
Large free parking, good Breakfast, Warm welcome (by a young man and young woman), Elevator and I'm ok with the price during my periode (half May). I should visit this hotel again. The internet service from Vodafone is to expansive. Single beds are a bit small for a 4 star ranked hotel.
Hotel staff were very friendly. English speaking. Very helpful indeed. Rooms were adequate, clean, 'Klima that worked !' Shower was a little on the small side but bathroom itself clean and good size. Towels and laundry seemed new. Good sized Parking area with no problems to access. You would need a car to get into the town itself. 10 mins from the A14. Good selection of food and quality good, although i thought just a little expensive. Some of the area's may'be could do with a little refurb, but on the whole it's ok
This was noz my first time there. What I liked is what you have allready questioned in point 2 no
Heel vriendelijk onthaal we waren in faenza voor de passatore (100km ultraloop) ondanks we lang voor het toegestane incheck uur aankwamen werd ons toch snel een kamer aangeboden
Staff very friendly. Very near to Faenza city, but car necessary. The hotel rooms were basic and old. The breakfast is poor: I suggest you to ask directly for capuccino or cofee to the barman. The hotel should be classified as 3*.
A special place with an interesting fin de siecle atmosphere and a good kitchen
Location The dirty water from the bathroom taps and the false advertising of a swimming pool
It was very quiet; albeit a little odd as it was a sanitorium as well, I think.
Staff were very friendly and happy to give loads of information on the area. The rooms are basic, but clean, fresh and comforable. The breakfast was very good indeed. The bathrooms are very compact so be aware!
Franco, the manager could not have been more helpful! And the rest of the staff were great, too! The town of Riolo Terme is very pretty, and deserves a longer stay then one night, and it is very close to Bologna and Imola, and I would be happy to return.
