Cleanliness of the room, friendliness and hospitality of staff.
Grafton manor is charming, the food is excellent and the staff are all truly wonderful. A good place to de-stress.
Its a historic manor house which has loads of history. Its a real gem, cant reccomend this place enough. Tucked away down a lane its really worth staying there. Food is great, so are the staff, and the owner was so hospitable, just wished i had been staying for more than one night.
Nothing at all. All very good. No complaints.
Location was very close to where I needed to be for work the next day. Dinner was good quality. Guy at check in was professional and knew what he was doing.
General decoration of the hotel could do with an update - it is looking dated. Cobwebs all over the place, including behind the bed. Breakfast was not great quality or much of it. Room was boiling hot, despite staying in January we had to sleep with the windows wide open. Waiting staff at dinner didn’t seem to know much about waiting...
Booked double room and asked if possible we could have the room with the 4 poster bed room as it's our silver wedding anniversary. Upon arrival we were very pleased that we were given this room, but a lovely surprise when there was a knock on the door and we were presented with a bottle of Prosecco on ice with glasses. It's the little touches that go along way. Staff very pleasant and beautiful grounds.
I acknowledge it's an old hotel with high ceilings, but lots of cobwebs in room and bathroom. Continental breakfast was a bit on a let down. Paid for B&B but not everything included
