A great location for enjoying the treasures of the Atlantic coast. The room was spacious, warm and comfortable.
Excellent Breakfast. Spacious rooms. Very tasty Sunday lunches. No free wifi included. However Bitbuzz payable wifi is available throughout the entire hotel.
very friendly efficient staff and excellant food poor car parking also a street plan of portrush one way system would have been a great help
I enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere within the hotel. The staff were excellent.
Breakfast, the location the bathroom stunk of smoke
The staff were really welcoming, buffet breakfast yummy and room a really good size and very comfy. Would definately stay at the ramada again! The automatic light and fan in the bathroom was a bit frustrating if you had to use the bathroom in the night cos it took ages to go of. A switch would be much better. But this was only a little thing.
The welcome to the Ramada was excellent, making me feel really glad to be there. The staff were friendly and pleasant. The rooms were very comfortable. The restaurant was excellent, the food was outstanding.
The Breakfast was so lovely and i like that you could serve yourself, Did not like that you could not bring food or drinks into your room.
The location of the hotel is excellent. Bedroom very spacious & comfortable. Staff friendly & helpful. We hope to return again.
Very Friendly owners and a great place to stay, will come back soon
This b&b was the best we stayed in during our trip to Ireland. I would recommend it to anyone. The facilities were clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly and hospitable. None! This was an awesome place.
Beautiful house in a beautiful part of the world....with a typical warm irish welcome...... Only minor point... Check in could have been earlier, no flexibility shown when calling to confirm time...
As ex-hotel management I could find no fault with anything Having to leave
Shower control a bit temperametal
Both the bedroom and bathroom were impressive - gorgeous, stylish and clean. We stayed in 4 different locations on our week-long Ireland trip and this was easily the most impressive. The breakfast was equally delicious. The only thing we didn't like was a subjective matter, we found it too hot in the room at night and had to open the windows to get relief. Maybe there was a thermostat in the room but we didn't see one. We did not bother to complain or ask for assistance as it was late and we were only there for 1 night so opening the window was sufficient.
Friendly staff who from the outset made us feel welcome. They offered to book our evening meals at local restaurants and had copies of menus to help us in our choice.
My sister and I stayed for two nights and absolutely LOVED the room. It was decorated very nicely and the bathroom was awesome... great shower, towel warmer, etc. Breakfast every morning was delicious and there were plenty of options. The location was great for us, close to everything we wanted to do in Northern Ireland. The bed was a bit too firm for my liking but that's my only complaint. :)
Great food, beautiful house, very helpful staff, huge bathroom with a great size of a shower, beautiful view through the window...
Great location, excellent room and the breakfast was great. Very friendly and made to feel welcome. None
Absolutely beautiful luxury suite. Superb breakfast that I an ashamed to say I could not finish! Could not fault a single thing!
the most amazing guest house ever , definatley a hidden treasure. The interior design here has surpsased anything ever or anywhere ive ever stayed , fantastic food also.
Location, staff Cobwebs in bathroom, Karaoke until very late one night
Excellent location on coast. Food basic but wholesome and reasonably priced. Rooms not serviced every day. Only 4 channels on TV. WIFI only available in reception area. Breakfast only served from 8.30 to 10.
Pleasant Staff. Hotel very quiet.Dreary colour scheme. No decent sea view.
Very reasonable cost and nice breakfast Lack of information / bistro menu in room
Good position, hotel side nice and clean, staff very friendly and helpful. Not keen on karioke in bar every night, would have liked a seperate residents bar. Bar needed a refurb. And would have liked more tourist information eg bus time table into town in the evening. Also stopped serving food at 7.30 which I felt was a bit early
the room was a good size, staff were verry friendly if maybe a bit laid back, great fire in bar!! small t.v. in cold part of bar
Bar staff were very attentive and well mannered
Everything was excellent I tried hard to find some bad points and could not find one single problem
Location, the staff were vey helpful and the breakfast included was excellent. Just the room i was in had an ajoining door to next dors room.Got very noisy and could hear everything till the early hours.I was offered a different room on complaining about this tho.
We had a very relaxing weekend stay. Good location for shopping in coleraine. Also food very good. Have stayed here before and would stay again. The only complaint would be that the mattress on the bed was very uncomfortable. We are spoilt at home with a memory foam mattress so no matter where we stay now the beds are uncomfortable!
A nice, quiet hotel within walking distance of the town and beaches(about 30 minutes) Nice large clean room, which was very comfortable. The breakfast was very good.
Super fast check in Very cold bar/ dinning room very difficult to book online - the main Best Western site did not seem to know of the Hotel. Booked through hotel booking agency.
Comfortable room, clean, excellent breakfast and service, good car parking. None although had to ask for heating to be turned on. Perhaps slightly pricey.
Staff,Food,cleanliness,price Nothing Nagative to say.
The family which runs the B&B was very kind & fun to talk to. The older son was a great bar keep & was very knowledgable about Northern Irish history & all of the sites around town. The Irish breakfast was delicious & just a 5-10 min. Drive from all sites
a boutique hotel with a family atmosphere - wonderful.
They upgraded us for free!
On arrival we were upgraded to an executive room which was a lovely surprise!
The spa was great although only open in the afternoon (3-8pm) The room was very clean but there was a wooden sliding door to the bathroom and the room was not as luxurious as I expected for a four star hotel.
could not get a drink after 9 pm.Also note in the room that you are not allowed to drink alcohol that is not purchased on the premises. This forces you to go out at night.
Very clean , comfortable and competitively priced hotel with courteous staff. A thoroughly enjoyable weekend stay.
food and hospitality exellant
The spa with steam room and sauna was nice to visit at end of a busy day of walking and climbing.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was of a high standard, and the restaurant was excellent. No option of a smoking room
it was a very relaxing place the only thing was that the spa was only open between 6pm and 9pm.
A first class hotel, welcoming and excellent room
The personal attention and the little details such as the inclusive soft drinks and snacks.
The cleanliness of the rooms
Location was great as it central to everything.....Staff very helpful...found my room to be clean and comfortable i really enjoyed my stay in Albany Lodge.
friendliness of owners, cleanliness & decor of room, nice breakfasts only the creaky floorboards in the room above !
The lodge is located downtown and our room had a wonderful view over the sea.
Very helpful, obliging and friendly. Excellent breakfast to start the day. nothing
We loved Albany Lodge. Richard was very welcoming and the rooms were very attractive. The views from our room were excellent and it had a chaise lounge so you could sit and enjoy the view. Nothing in particular. There is no lift so that might put some older people off if they have to walk three floors.
peace and quiet No.
location - town centre and beach just behind the corner... old building in the beach view mould in shower
this trip was for our daughter's 7th birthday treat. the hotel staff and customers made her feel like a princess. it really was a special birthday for her thank you very much
Breakfast was ok We stayed in a twin room as no available doubles.the room was tiny and so were the beds.the tv didnt work properly the toilet swayed when you sat on it.the corridors were like a maze it was very difficult to find our room as rooms 18 19 and 20 were not marked out even the lad that worked there couldnt find them
Down to earth, no pretentious crap, basic & clean rooms (that’s all that’s ever needed), friendly staff and a warm welcome, great fun at karaoke night and the hotel is conveniently located close to the beach. None to note.
friendly staff with a very substantial breakfast given. The decor is quite old fashioned
Nothing too much trouble staff always very pleasant and helpful places all were very security conscious Bar shut too early and no entertainment
Convenient to center of Portrush and a great center to start Causeway Coast tour. Hotel is clean, cheap but very dated. Don't expect luxury power shower rather weak triton.
No stairs, I have a problem with my hip, dinner not nice at all no taste of it! Ordered chicken dinner but recieved roast beef instead!
Staff were great, breakfast was super bar was fun until everyone got bladdered. But then im not a pub person, some people may love this. The price was definately right. We had a first floor room the noise from the bar into the small hours was horrendous, the people in the room next door were in loud converation until about 4 in the morning, consequently we had very little sleep. In fact we had no sleep.
Family room had two bedrooms Hotel very clean but quite old
The staff were brilliant, being younger and going to Kellys the staff were great at times for us coming in, and also with us being smokers, they were very helpful with us coming in and out late at nite going for smokes The only thing was wen we booked originally we'd booked a family room, for 4 adults which we put in our search box when trying to find a hotel, and it still pulled up the Port Hotel Family Room, i would suggest that if this could be changed to do so. The staff were very good at sorting this problem for me
Room adequate for our needs, owner very nice, lovely breakfast None
View was excellent and room was lovely
Very convenient to Bushmills Tour, Giant's Causeway and Dunluce Castle. THe Harbor Bar was very nice and convenient for eating. Parking in front was easy. Nice view from our room.
Fabulous kitschy decor! Wonderful view of working harbor and beach. Convenient on-street parking. Close to Dunluce Castle and Giant's Causeway. Helpful, pleasant staff. nothing
Very comfortable bed and clean. Enjoyed breakfast too. Friendly atmosphere.
Very friendly staff, excellent breakfasts, lovely location, free wifi in room. Parking outside hotel was okay whilst we were there but could imagine it being challenging in high season.
Room amazing - king size sea view None
lovely and intimate, slightly old fashioned but in a really lovely way, great location. will definitely go back if ever again in north ireland.
the breakfast was great. its basic accomodation but great value for money.
